From the Cedar Point FB page, I tell ya some people just can't let things go. still saddens me that when you open tomorrow the wildcat will be gone, that was one ride the whole family did together It really wasn't a family ride, I think the height restrictions were too tall to be a "family" ride.

Not going this weekend but am going next week for the first time, am very excited!!! Next week this time I could be on Millennium Force or TTD!!

I think that your plans should be the same, no need to change. I also have a question, when staying at the Cedar Point property (first time doing this) do you get your tickets included in the cottage/hotel price or do you have to purchase those separately?

For sure, he will be going to the park within the first week. I stopped reading after that part. Yeah, blame Fast Lane on the wait times, forget the fact that he went during one of the busiest times of the year. I was thinking the exact same thing, blame Fast Lane for you going to the park on a crazy busy weekend and going on one of the better rides. This guy is still making me laugh, I joined his facebook group just so I can go in there and argue with him

I am curious what people think are the best wooden and steel coasters in the parks today? You have a top 5 or just have that one that is the absolute top coaster you have been on? Sorry if this is a repeat, couldn't find another thread on it.

Posted on the Cedar Point Fan Page, this guy had a link to his Boycott Cedar Point facebook page, thought this was a really funny read. We went to Kings Island last year on our Platinum passes. Kings Island owned by Cedar Point. Just to find FAST LANE! Oh yeah fast Lane is fast. For those who are shell out 50.00 for One Day! Yeah Fast to them. The rest of you will sit in line now even longer! See the greed at Cedar Fair seem to be running deep. The only one's who will be able to afford the Fast Passes are the one or two timers who come to Cedar Point once or twice a year. The rest of us Platinum Pass holders (which I will not buy this year because of fast Lane) will be waiting even longer in lines. Yes at Kings Island I waited 4 Hours for the Diamond Back at Halloween time. Yes you see right 4 HOURS! because fast lane people just keep getting back on over and over again. I vowed last year then after only getting on one ride at Kings Island that if Cedar Point got Fast Lane I would not longer be a Season Pass holder. Season Passholders are now gonna have to shell out more money or find themselves getting 2 rides a day and that's all. Now opening day and until kids get out of school ride times will not be bad. But you wait till Jun July and Aug and you will be in line forever! That's what the owners of Cedar Point could care less about. The bread and Butter of their Company. The season pass holder is at their parks all the time. They buy food and drinks ALL THE TIME. Now this is a slap in the face to us the season pass holder. Now the once in a blue moon people just need to grab a fast pass and go around over and over again while you sit in the heat and sweat. Cedar Point says there will be a limit on Fast Lane passes sold. Please did you ever see them limit people coming into the park? Go July 4th and you will be lucky to see one ride. There is no limit to anything that includes money to Cedar Point. They don't care if the park is packed and you see any rides. They got their money thats on you oh well! Fast Lane is a FAST RIP OFF to us the all year round customer. But that's ok Cedar Point you have your Fast Lane I said it last year and I mean it. I will never step foot in your park again! Your greed has put a sour taste in my mouth and soon other Season passholders will see how long they wait in line and will also tell you to stuff your pass where the sun don't shine. Millennium is a good 1 to 2 hour wait. But wait till Fast Lane. That will be now a 3 to 4 hour wait. You'll see in June when the kids are out of school. Thanks Cedar Fair for ruining your parks over greed! That greedy, greedy Cedar Point......you know because they are the only park with a Fast Pass.

This is one of my local parks, Valley Fair being the other. It is nice to go in the winter and still get that coaster fix when needed.

Which coaster is that? Looking at the map and if they decided to take out the dorms there could be enough room to put to mid sized coasters for the in between ages. I know everyone wants the next huge best thing but along with Iron Dragon this could become a midway for the older than little kids and not yet big kids.

This is a very good thing for the midway.

More great replies about Wild Cat being taken out of Cedar Point. Terrible management when they are getting rid of an eye sore where their new 6 million dollar light show is taking place, right......bad management. That's not fair and too sudden.........so? What?? This was an adult writing this comment, painful to read. Really this was the ride bringing you back to the park? So when the ride leaves this person will no longer have a memory of their childhood.......wow that is sad.

Now that Wild Cat is coming out of Cedar Point maybe this track is heading there

All I am saying is that there is more than likely a major problem that surfaced in the last couple days, one that will cost a bunch of cash to fix. I am sure there are people at the park that can call other parks saying a a coaster is for sale, but I imagine the first question that was asked by the person getting called is......"What is wrong with it?" Once hearing what is wrong with it and the cost of fixing the problem they respectfully decline purchasing the coaster. Therefore as the phone calls go and the answer is the same from all the other parks it just becomes an issue of how much the park can get in scrap money for it.

Why on earth would a company continue to throw cash at a ride that is clearly past it's prime? What does it really matter that other parks are putting money into old rides like the Wildcat, Cedar Point has chosen no too, so get over it.

I am curious which are your tallest not including Top Thrill Dragster and Kingda Ka. Then forgot to put my own. Currently it is Wild Thing at VF and Renegade at VF, in two weeks it will change too Millennium Force and Mean Streak

Great thread, no near death experiences for me yet. Although there was this one time on a Mighty Mouse ride at VF, that was pretty scary.

From the Top ten coasters in America video Speed and height kind of do make the coaster, and isn't that what Millennium is know for? Same video Right UK has better coasters only because you live there.

I went ahead and bought 4 Fast Lane passes for my group, one of the days we are at the park is a Friday and I don't want to miss out on any ride time by standing in line........so I bought them.

That Six Flags Great America looks nice, maybe we will try to add an extra day on this trip and hit that park as well. Anyone have any idea what kind of time frame a person needs to have to get through the park?
