  1. From the park's Facebook page posted yesterday (1-23):
  2. *UPDATE* The new best under 75' for me would be White Lightning @ Fun Spot America.
  3. Boomerang: Boomerang @ Wild Adventures SLC: Twisted Typhoon @ Wild Adventures Flying Dutchman: Nighthawk @ Carowinds Roller Skater/Junior Coaster: Flying Unicorn @ IOA Suspended Family: Rugrat's Runaway Reptar & Carowinds The only 2 custom Vekoma's I've been on are Ninja (SFOG) & Expedition Everest
  4. These are the missed coasters that were IN OPERATION while visiting a park: Carowinds- White LIghtnin' (I was too young/short before it was moved) IOA- Pteranodon Flyers (I was turned away since I had no eligible child rider...lol) USF- Woody Woodpecker's Nuthouse Coaster (I wasn't sure they'd let me ride since I had no child with me..lol) SFOG- Wile E. Coyote Canyon Blaster (The park was way too busy that day to stand in line that long for a kiddie coaster) Disney's Animal Kingdom- Primeval Whirl (One side was closed and the line was 90 minutes...) Fun Spot America- Freedom Flyer & Sea Serpent (Was short on time and went to ride White Lightning) These are defunct coasters that I'll never get a credit for (since having the ability to go to these parks on my own): Kings Dominion- Hypersonic XLC SFOG- Deja Vu (moved/in storage...but I don't see going to Brazil anytime soon) BGT- Python (It closed a year before I first visited) These are coasters at parks I've been to that I NEED CREDITS for (as they have been built since last there): Carowinds- Carolina Cobra & Intimidator (last visit Oct '08) BGW- Grover's Alpine Coaster & Verbolten (last visit June '08) King's Dominion- Backlot Stunt Coaster, Dominator & Intimidator 305 (last visit '99) SFOG- Dare Devil Dive (last visit May '08) USF- Hollywood RRR (last visit Dec '08)
  5. Incredible Hulk: Kumba: SheiKra: Manta: Air Grover...lol:
  6. I haven't kept count, but I would have to say my top three would be Montu, Kraken and Kumba.
  7. I live in Gainesville (FL) so I'm about 90 minutes from the closest parks. I consider Busch Gardens Tampa my home park since I go there most often. Seaworld Orlando would be my 1st alternate since I have a combined pass with BGT...and go there 2nd often...lol Originally however I'm from Charlotte and that makes Carowinds my original home park.
  8. Montu on 8-16-13! The last new coaster credit was White Lightning @ Fun Spot America back in June.
  9. First : Carolina Goldrusher Second: Carolina Cyclone
  10. It will most likely be Cheetah Hunt. As far as a new credit; that would most likely be Intimidator @ Carowinds later this year.
  11. I've included some flat & other rides as well (even if they were a transplant)- 1997: Alpengeist @ BGW 1998: Volcano the Blast Coaster @ KD 1999: Apollo's Chariot @ BGW & Georgia Scorcher @ SFOG 2008: Disaster (never did it as Earthquake) and The Simpson's Ride @ USF & Yo Yo @ Carowinds If I included home parks then: Carowinds (Birth-2006) Busch Gardens Tampa & Seaworld Orlando (2007-current) 1988: WhiteWater Falls @ Carowinds 1994: Hurler @ Carowinds 1995: Xtreme Skyflyer @ Carowinds 1996: Drop Tower @ Carowinds 1998: Taxi Jam @ Carowinds 1999: Afterburn @ Carowinds 2002: Ricochet @ Carowinds 2007: SheiKra (year it became floorless) @ BGT 2010: Air Grover @ BGT 2011: Cheetah Hunt @ BGT
  12. I'm most excited for Gatekeeper. Also excited that it will be my first visit to Cedar Point!
  13. My favorite dark coaster is Flight Of Fear @ KD. I also thoroughly enjoy Revenge Of The mummy @ Universal Studios FL.
  14. I've done NYE at BGT. It can be nuts depending on what time you get there; especially parking. Last year we went and we had to park in Adventure Island's parking lot and we arrived around 5pm. If you go earlier in the day however it's not as bad, though that would depend on how long you wanted to stay in the park. The ride waits were a bit long, but nothing horrible other than Cheetah Hunt which had a 2 hour wait time at one point. They will still have the decorations up and some of the Christmas shows should still be performed as well. You can check the park's website for show information closer to that day (the show schedule isn't posted yet). I think they do a good job, but Seaworld Orlando's NYE is much better and that's where we are going. They are very busy as well, but with all the shows it helps. BGT however is usually pretty slow on New Year's Day (the past 3 years I've gone) if you are looking to go on a not so busy day.
  15. Of the parks I've been to: Busch Gardens Tampa & Seaworld Orlando I know they have the same operator and are close enough to almost be one already, but it would just be nice to have it all in one spot. Plus I'd have 5 of my current top 10 in the same park. If I were to include parks I hadn't been to: Cedar Point and Busch Gardens Tampa
  16. I wouldn't miss both Hurlers all that much.
  17. Seaworld Orlando New Year's Eve & Busch Gardens Tampa on New Year's Day
  18. So far there have only been 4 coasters that have either become defunct or have moved to become SBNO that I've ridden. My favorite would have to be Viper @ SFOG (tho it's SBNO @ KK). I love shuttle loopers; even though it was the only one I've been on. I was too scared to Ride White Lighning @ Carowinds before it was moved (plus I may not have been tall enough yet). Others would be Drachen Fire (yes, I actually liked it...must have gotten worse after my last ride) and Big Bad Wolf. The only one I don't really miss is Flying Super Saturator @ Carowinds, tho it was an ok ride for what it was. My favorite flat/dark/other rides that have been removed are Blackbeard's Revenge and Powder Keg Flume (Wild Thornberry...blah) @ Carowinds.
  19. My first coaster was Scooby Doo @ Carowinds. I belive I was 5 at the time. It scared me so bad I didn't get on another until I was about 13/14. Of course now there aren't any coasters that scare me...well maybe some of those Chinese knock offs I'll probably never get to ride.
  20. I consider Busch Gardens Tampa to be my home park. My favorite coaster there is Montu. Seaworld Orlando is my secondary home park and Kraken is my favorite there. Kind of nice to have my top 2 coasters not too far from each other.
  21. Carolina Cyclone @ Carowinds I first rode it about 1994.
  22. Montu get's my vote with Afterburn a close second behind.
  23. In order ridden; including two that moved: Wild Maus (BGW moved to BGT) Big Bad Wolf Drachen Fire Viper (SFOG moved to SFKK) Flying Super Saturator (Carowinds)
