  1. Couldn't they just close for the off season, doesn't breakers at cedar point close for theirs?
  2. Thunderbolt may meet the height requirement, seems to be cheating a little bit with a drop of nearly 100 feet, compared to Blue Streak's drop of < 75 feet. My pick would be phoenix if we could pick drops of less than 75 feet, however since that would be cheating, ill go with jack rabbit(Height:40 ft,Drop:70 ft) also from kennywood. I find it interesting cyclops also fits in this category(Height:70 ft,Drop:75 ft) and both cyclops and jack rabbit have OMFG airtime moments.
  3. You are missing Hades 360.
  4. What was your first Boomerang? - Sidewinder at HersheyPark(2nd was sea serpent, morey's) Invertigo? - Invertigo, Kings Island(2nd was stinger, dorney) G.I.B.? - Goliath, Six Flags New England(only 1 so far) SLC? - Great Nor'Easter, Morey's Piers(actually rode this again this past summer, new restraints didn't really help) Flying Dutchman? Firehawk, Kings Island(second was batwing, SFA) Mine Train? Big Thunder Mountain Railroad -WDW MK, or Runaway Mine Train - Six flags Great Adventure probably, possibly Trailblazer at hershey, really not sure. Roller Skater? Barnstormer, WDW; if that counts, Flight of the Hippogriff, again dropping through: Kiddee Koaster SFFT(not sure if size is a thing in this category)/Spacely's Sprocket Rockets, SFGA. Family inverted- Silver Streak, CW

  6. Im just wondering how it compares to the real deal, speed, roughness etc; since i haven't ridden either
  7. 2014: SCANDI.* SF Great Adventure(can someone say drop tower*, home park) Fun Spots*(both fl parks) Disney(need everest and dwarves coaster*, besides who doesn't love disney) Kings Island(Banshee*) Indiana Beach*† SF Great America(Goliath*) Strickers Grove*‡ Waldameer*† Conneaut*† Idlewild*† Kennywood(worth a revisit)† Lakemont*† CGA*‡(would make a nice CFK, but KD may be this years) SFDK*‡ ValleyFair!/MoA*‡ BGW† BGT‡(would take 2 fl trips) *New †Probable ‡Questionable/Doubtful Last year i surprised myself. Have some that we probably won't do this year, but who knows.
  8. B&M by default. Thought Skyrider at CW was awful because of the airtime and the turns both being painful. Green Lantern, Riddlers, Scorcher and mantis the best of this awful category imo.
  9. Thanks to KT and Elissa, riding Jr gemini… (un)fortunately there is some proof.
  10. No need to fly. We just did a three day trip to texas, which could be done without skipping sea world: Day 1: Fly into dallas early: go to SFOT(wasn't open to weather…), then drive to san antonio(4 hours depending on traffic). Sleep in san antonio. Day 2: Do SFFT and possibly sea world, enjoy river walk(again weather ruined). Drive to houston. Sleep in houston/galveston. Day 3: Pleasure pier and kemah boardwalk. Anything else in houston, fly out of houston. only issue is renting a car(different pickup/dropoff) and some decent amount of driving, wasn't too bad with 2 people. Honestly the answer here is go on a tpr tour if possible.
  11. Knock off or not these have never been enjoyable for me. #headbanging
  12. The link was the link directly to the store, at least on mobile/ipad. Lake compounce is also doing a deal for 45$, for their 'platinum season pass' https://store.accesso.com/PE-LC/packageList/keyword/Season%20Passes
  13. Tpr, tpr tours, airtime, intamin, rmc, b&m, premier, and innovation in general. Also thankful for a great year, and hoping 2014 will be even better.
  14. Haven't ridden ZP, or Ravine Flyer II yet but really enjoyed boardwalk bullet. The voyage after a fresh retrack deserves another chance. Hades 360 is the worst I've ridden and i'd speculate the worst on the list.
  15. Was a sad sight, when i got to the parking gate.
  16. Really enjoy these rides, especially when you aren't expecting one at a park. My preference: 1. ProSlide HydroMAGNETIC Rockets 2. Masterblasters 3. ProSlide Rockets (w/ conveyor belts)
  17. Thanks for all the coverage, having a crappy week of work but really enjoying the IAAPA coverage by tpr. The video was interesting and liked the new format.
  18. Ryan I'll let you know, as long as titan is running saturday.
  19. Coaster looks like a lot of fun, not sure what to think of the boat skipping water thing.
  20. Been on this, and the mirror. Somehow they don't stand up to bizarro at New England.
  21. Will be at the park a week from tomorrow, (11/23), is getting there for opening enough to get enough rides on NTaG and shockwave?
  22. Ok i guess japan going to this park is a necessary evil.
