That song fits the video very well, too. Eric
  2. I've always kinda liked 'em, but, being 112% sugar, I can't anymore. Eric

  6. ^ Hasn't left the country. < Has left the country. V Has left the universe!
  7. I've already told Robb, but Diana and I will in fact be at SFMM for the Goliath meet at 2pm, and we'll be at the party later on. Diana is bringing her friend Ernee, too. Eric
  8. ^^^ I agree, Dave. Psyclone was actually pretty good in its first few years. It's a POS now because of the earthquake, but mostly because of the very heavy trains having beaten up the track. SFMM even ran Psyclone backwards for the 1994 Fright Fest. I took one ride on it like that, and it really wasn't that bad if I recall. I wouldn't ride it backwards now---heck, even a forward ride is rare for me now. I'll second Windjammer, too, while I'm at it. That ride = major suckage. Eric
  9. robbalvey said: "I really can't think of too many other coasters that have their station track painted a completely different color than the rest of the ride. Certainly not any at SFMM!" Next time you ride Gold Rusher, look what color the station track is. It isn't yellow like the rest of the ride... Eric
  10. Worst ending: Manhattan Express. You stop outside on top of the building, then go inside and take little hills down to the station with brakes stopping you as you descend. One of the better endings (for me) is Gold Rusher at SFMM. That final spiral and hop onto the brake at the end was always one of my favorites. Eric
  11. ^ I would have said Jack Daniels... Eric
  12. ^ Flashback gave you flashbacks! With all the headbanging anyway. You haven't missed much. Eric
  13. Is ezboard still around? I don't see forums using it anymore. Eric
  14. I topped off today at $2.939 at the car wash. In my travels around Camarillo, I've seen a few stations over the $3 mark already. Eric
  15. Take mine! Then I can buy a new one. Eric
  16. ^ Hmmm...those would be some damn cheap burritos! Maybe next time I'll buy waffles... Eric
  17. People who ask where things are "at," as in "Where did you get that at?" "Where is the library at?" You don't need the "at," you see. It makes you sound, well, not very smart... Along the same lines, why do some people (particularly from the East) "ax" you questions? "Can I ax you something..." What, is he carrying a hatchet? Double standards. For instance, it's OK for my wife to buy any CD, DVD, pair of shoes, etc. that she wants. But when Diana wants something, "it's too expensive, not practical, you can wait," etc. People who wear too much perfume/cologne. They walk by and you can smell them for miles. Do they bathe in the stuff? Are they hiding the fact that they don't bathe? That ends another round of peeves. Eric
  18. I have a few rolls of quarters...I wonder how many burritos I can buy? Eric
  19. Interesting...I've never seen anyone flip off paper before... Your highways look really cool. There are some roads like that here in California---mostly up north like in the Sierras (US 395). One of my favorite roads is CA 17 between San Jose and Santa Cruz. That's a pretty drive, though it can be treacherous at night and/or in the fog. Good luck in your studies, Craiggers. Eric
  20. We drink Arrowhead Distilled Water at our house. Cleanest water you can get. Eric
  21. ^ Bet it had a whale of a good time! Eric
  22. Let me be the first to wish Joey a happy 20th birthday! Eric
  23. ^ We don't get hurricanes a la Katrina that slam directly into us, but there are Pacific Ocean hurricanes that can and have affected our weather. But on to the happy thoughts... A three-day weekend. A short work week next week. Three paydays this month. Probably a trip or two to SFMM this month. And more stuff that I can't think of at 1:30am. Eric
  24. ^ Let's face it---everyone likes their own "kind." As for me, I am a Six Flags season passholder and have been since 1994. I've had mostly good experiences at parks owned by Disney, Cedar Fair, Busch, and Six Flags. I will admit that Six Flags tends to do things on the cheap as far as theming goes, but then most of their attractions are coasters anyway. How much theming can you give a coaster unless it's indoors (like Space Mountain, Rock-N-Roller Coaster, etc.)? Pretty much just the station and vehicles. Everyone whines about Scream! at SFMM being over a parking lot and having no "theme," but would that ride really be any different if they planted grass under it? No, then people would complain about the plain-looking station. It's going to be interesting to see what happens to the Six Flags parks. My guess is that the smaller ones will be sold off to individual investors, while selected larger ones will be snatched up by others as a group. Eric
  25. Earlier tonight, we had dinner at McDonald's. I had a Big Mac, but I pulled the middle bun out before eating it. Later, I enjoyed the middle bun as a side dish. Eric "Diabetics are strange" L.
