  1. If I pick up that bag of candy corn, I won't have enough free hands to sew the button back onto my ice skates. Eric
  2. I like Random, Random, Random because I'm so random. Plus, I don't have to limit my posts to just stupid old theme parks and roller coasters. Now if you'll excuse me, I have to catch a train down to the harbor to see if the burrito store is open. Eric
  3. Another transit fan, eh? I used to collect timetables from the old RTD system in L.A. where I grew up, but I no longer do. I'm still interested in transit issues, though. Eric
  4. zaneymon said: "cant wait i get my learner linces" Learner "linces?" What is that, exactly...? :? Whatever, my birthday is August 1, 1959. Yeah, I'm old...deal with it! Eric
  5. ^ Feet out of alignment. < Life out of alignment. V Brain out of alignment!
  6. ^ Smart for not smoking. < Smart for not smoking. V Smart for not feeding the pigeons!
  7. Give it a try, but when it erupts you'll be nightformed. Eric
  8. Despite this incident, I'll still ride Insanity. I've done the other rides up there, so why not this one? Eric
  9. SharkTums said: "Hey! Leave him alone, maybe he's just excited about having the Old Guy on his pass!" I have the Old Guy on my pass---and Mr. Six, too! Eric
  10. If you pull the handle too hard, you'll get a face full of sesame seeds. Eric
  11. My 2002 Honda CR-V has the 160 hp 4-cylinder, and it has plenty of power. I get 24-26 mpg with it (4-speed automatic w/ overdrive), and have 63,000 miles on it. It carries five people very comfortably and has plenty of room for stuff---even more when you fold down the back seats (actually, they tumble forward). The only problem is finding a used one. Not many people get rid of them. Eric
  12. Nah, there'll always be vertical loops. But it does get old when a coaster comes off the lift, takes a drop, and goes right into a loop. I like the way that Revolution at SFMM did it. Three drops before the loop, the third being that long, gradual descent into it (which I think is a great element in itself). What I also don't like is the three loops in a row like on Viper at SFMM. Better to do addtional loops like they did on Montu---one now, one later in the ride. Or put some other element first, then a loop or two later. But, no, the vertical loop is here to stay. I like them, honestly, more than any other inversions except maybe B&M's zero-G rolls or heartline spins. Eric
  13. Jezzball. Pretty simple game---great time killer. Eric
  14. If anyone knows when the train's coming by, please tell me! Eric
  15. ^ Um, Westcoaster's still around...and it doesn't suck. Eric
  16. ^ Bored and going swimming. < Bored and going walking. V Bored and going gum scraping!
  17. My first car was a 1975 Olds Cutlass Salon that I got used in August 1978. Next, I bought a brand new 1983 Toyota Supra in March 1983 which I drove till February 2002 when I bought my 2002 Honda CR-V. The CR-V is great. I'd post a picture, but y'all know what they look like. Eric
  18. Things were done backwards. See, when a new product comes onto the market, it's usually been tested before being offered; a prototype has been built and the bugs worked out first. In this case, Six Flags decided that Vekoma's Giant Inverted Boomerang would be a cool addition to SFMM, SFoG, and SFGAm. So, they ordered one for each park---untested. That meant that the parks themselves had the honor of getting the bugs worked out. Pretty much the same problem with X. Eric
  19. ^ Loves to run. < Loves to walk. V Loves to scrape gum off his shoes!
  20. I just got an LG VX4500. So far, I like it. It's better than the Motorola 120c it replaced. Eric
  21. What would be great if they could revitalize the rail line between Montalvo and Santa Clarita and run trains from the beach to a station near SFMM. The park could run a shuttle between the two---what a great way to go to SFMM! Commuters could use the train, too. Eric
  22. Dave painted his bathroom, but that didn't explain the goat cheese. Eric
