You have to wonder just what goes on the minds of people who come up with this stuff... Never mind. I really don't want to know. Eric

^ Looks like you could watch baseball, then go ride a coaster and a Ferris wheel right afterwards. Interesting seats---no backs on them. Eric

I really don't like going far on holiday weekends, so I'll most likely be going to my mom's house. It's only 45 miles away, so that's not a long trip. Eric

Just a spoonful of sugar makes the medicine go down, in the most delightful way! Eric

^ If you're talking about those frosted breadstick thingies from Japan, then yes. Have you ever caught a certain part of your body in your zipper?

Just remember that your most accurate weight is first thing in the morning, buck naked. That's when I weigh myself---and no one has to look! Eric

Original Intamin Rollercoaster Car to sell
ebl replied to Balmera's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
WOW!!! That thing almost looks like it was made out of stone! I can just see it in some ACEer's living room right in front of the TV to watch coaster videos! Eric -
New Matterhorn cars, first peek
ebl replied to speedracer's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Hmmm...I wasn't aware that the Matterhorn was getting new cars. This is the first I've heard of it. If in fact this is the case, it looks like you'll be sitting higher. Not good with some low tunnels... Somehow, going from eight riders per car to six seems like it would reduce capacity, which was the reason for the switch from the single sleds (1959-1977) to the ones now on the ride since 1978. My own problem with riding the Matterhorn is that with a serious lack of body padding in a certain area *AHEM*, the ride is just too bumpy. Maybe the new seating will afford a bit of the cushioning that I need. And, yes, the new bobsleds are...well, not very attractive... Eric -
It's almost Tuesday...time to begin a short work week. And next week is only a three-day work week! Eric

I'm having a high protein dinner. No carbs. Can't have 'em. Shouldn't have them, really. A few maybe. But no dessert. Eric

"What are they showing right now, November 10? Dr. Seuss's How the Grinch Stole Christmas." (jackskellington101) Give it time. Pretty soon that'll turn up in July or August... Eric

People in crosswalks. Recently around here, they've installed countdown timers on the Walk/Don't Walk signs to let you know how long you have to cross. Some people start their trip across when they only have three seconds before the light changes. Unfortunately---I don't know about anywhere else---here you have to wait until the person crossing gets all the way across and out of the crosswalk before you can proceed. So if they start out "late," you're stuck for the duration regardless of whether you have the right of way and/or a green light. Eric

I had a fun casino job out at the Reagan Library last night. My roulette table was almost under the left wing of Air Force One in the new pavilion. And I made $140 for just a few hours' work. Eric

TOP 5 B&M INVERTED COASTERS
ebl replied to CoasterExpert13's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I've only been on five, so I'll list 'em: 1. Top Gun (California's Great America). 2. Montu (Busch Gardens Africa) 3. Silver Bullet (Knott's Berry Farm) 4. Dueling Dragons Fire (Islands of Adventure) 5. Batman--The Ride (SFMM) It may be listed last, but be assured that I do like the ride. Honestly, I just prefer rides that aren't quite so intense. Mo, I don't know you, but certainly will say congratulations on your new arrival. All the best to everyone in your family! Eric I have a cousin named Charlotte, BTW. Not a common name, but a nice one!
