KidTums Goes To Her First Christmas Party!
ebl replied to SharkTums's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Kristen is the first baby I've seen who didn't cry when she sat on Santa's lap. Back when Diana was about eight months old (her first Christmas) I played Santa at our office Christmas party. Diana sat on my lap and cried her eyes out! But it was DAD!!! Eh, she couldn't tell. (BTW, Diana sat on Santa's lap this year at The Oaks (Thousand Oaks) and Santa's face was like..."Oh my..." I should get that picture and post it here!) Anyway, nice update. Keep those KT updates coming! Eric -
^ I'm guessing that dashed line in one of the inversions is a passing lane? Otherwise, very interesting... Eric

Maybe it takes one to know one. If ACEers are such squares, why are they so round? -
Kristen gets cuter every time I see her! She's sure a happy kid. "This thread would lose everything without feet pictures!" (odene497) The thrill of victory, and the agony of "da feet." Eric

Printer works great, shower works great, car runs great. Now all I need is a good night's sleep, and I'll be getting that in a bit. Eric

Too bad Evel couldn't have had the chance to ride "his" coaster. Eric -
The Texas Tornado at Wonderland was O.D. Hopkins' first coaster, and, yes, they made some "adjustments" after it was built. I've heard that it was all but designed on a napkin during a meeting with park officials as they were deciding what to build. In May 2005, my mom and I traveled to Amarillo to help a distant relative put together a family geneology. While there, we went to Wonderland and I rode the Cyclone (wild mouse identical to the Tree Top Racers at Adventure City), and their Galaxi style ride. Unfortunately, the Texas Tornado was closed so I couldn't ride it. Eric

Worst Coaster Experience

I've always hoped that X would become one of SFMM's "ex" coasters, but now that it'll be X2, it looks like it's staying awhile... Psyclone on the other side of the park from X ranks up there as one of my worst experiences as well. Eric -
^ I used to walk about five miles, three times a week. That took me around an hour and 15 minutes. Best exercise ever. Eric

My 76 gasoline card has a $1000 balance on it and got de-authorized, meaning that I can't use it. Gas is expensive out here in California, but not that expensive. Methinks there are some questionable charges on there... Eric

I get to install my new HP LaserJet 1600 color laser printer tonight. Then I get to start writing our annual Christmas letter. Eric

Interestingly, Montezooma's Revenge is the only Schwarzkopf shuttle in the U.S. that is still in its original location. Of all, I've only ridden that and Tidal Wave up in Santa Clara at Marriott's Paramount's California's Great America, which, by the way, was a weight drop model as opposed to Montezooma's Revenge, which is a flywheel model. ^ I've seen that door... Anyway, 17 lbs. in 17 days...not a bad pace at all. I'm glad you're not doing that "Lose 100 pounds in three hours" kind of diet because those never work. Lose the weight slowly, and it'll more than likely stay off. My own weight gain plan is working nicely as well. Right now at 145 lbs., I'm up almost 30 from where I was last year at this time. Eric

It's been a couple of years since I posted a picture of me-self and the young 'un, so here ya go... Eric Diana and me at a recent wedding

I just got my latest VISA bill statement. I'm only about 2000 reward points away from a free domestic round trip airline ticket. Maybe I'll put the plumbing repairs on the card... Eric

I want no more inflamed sciatica nerves. That's been a pain in the butt for too long now. Material stuff? Pfft. I don't need anything. Eric

I had In-N-Out three hours ago and I'm still drinking my Diet Coke from there. Eric

They had to spell it out or you'd think it was referring to your abdominal muscles (abs?). Where is the best place to buy caramel? -
