  1. While driving, have you ever looked at another driver and wondered if s/he liked the car they were driving, or if they wished they had something else? Eric
  2. Didn't Boardwalk & Baseball or Circus World have Schwarzkopf's Wiener Looping at one time? Eric
  3. There was a soda called "Surge," which was very similar to Vault. Also, Surge was bright green as opposed to Vault's yellow-green color. Why are Japanese cars more reliable than the American ones?
  4. I, too, wasn't aware that the Luxor boat ride was from Arrow---nor did I know that the Rim Runner in the Adventuredome was as well. (For some reason, I thought the latter was a Vekoma ride.)' Thanks to all who've posted park literature, newsletters, drawings, etc. It's been fun looking at all this cool stuff! Eric
  5. I would have liked to see Wes make a Bever-ita! Eric
  6. I don't own any guns, but a buddy of mine who is a member of the Ojai Valley Gun Club (here in California) takes me out to a public event there called the "Seven Gun Shoot." You get to shoot your choice of seven different weapons among eight, and the highest score gets to pick a nice prize at the end of the event (during the barbeque). Target shooting can be fun. There's nothing wrong with that. I personally have no desire to hunt animals, though I don't feel it's wrong provided you eat what you shoot and make use of the hide if at all possible. Eric
  7. ^ Needed his soup. < Needed his sleep. V Needed his shower!
  8. "Gary Story wanted to relocate Flashback to Elitch Gardens" (montezooma) I wish he would have. Eric
  9. I'd say either the San Diego Giant Dipper or the Santa Cruz Giant Dipper. Fortunately, they're both still running. I think Santa Cruz runs better despite using Morgan trains. Eric
  10. ^ I don't remember Bugs Bunny standing next to the lift, though. Anyway, Flashback's demise is approaching. I wonder if they'll carefully dismantle it or give it the same kind that the freefall ride at SFoT got. Eric
  11. Glad you had fun, Wes, though I'm not sure why you voluntarily drank Beverly. [snickers] And you had a Chevy for a rental. [continues snickering] Vaultarita = good idea for most people Vaultarita = bad idea for diabetics, so I'll pass... Eric
  12. ^ When it was 11:30 at your house, it was only 8:30 at mine, so I drove to the mall. Eric
  13. It's a clever advertising trick to get people to your house to buy your junk! What makes soda fizzy?
  14. ^ Thinks I'm from Texas just because my mom is. < Went to Texas with my mom in 2005. V Went to sleep with teddy bear last night!
  15. They're a great way to go fast and not have to worry about getting a ticket! Eric
  16. Very nice Photo TR. I've been to Dodger Stadium in the off season (they have a gift shop that's open, and sometimes you can walk around a bit). Also, there is an official Dodger Stadium tour for a small fee. One time, I'd like to take that tour. It looks like fun. Eric
  17. This afternoon, one of my co-workers and I were sitting at the round table in our office checking some electrical wiring drawings. Making sure everything was correct required us to verbally call out connections to verify that what the drawings said was actually what was supposed to happen. The PITA we work with came back from lunch, went to her cubicle (adjacent to where we were working), and turned on her music loud enough to nearly drown out our voices. James asked her if she would please turn it down and her response was, "Why don't you guys go work somewhere else?" We're in somewhat of a transition, and my normal co-workers and I are all in agreement that when we move to the new facility, one of us---female and a real b**ch---won't be coming with us. This transition can't occur soon enough. Eric
  18. ^ After my wisdom teeth were pulled, I had an awful lot of strawberry shakes. Glad it went well for you. Eric
  19. We all have to die sometime, somewhere. Unfortunately, for some, it's while they're visiting Walt Disney World. Eric
  20. Wow...I don't know how I missed this picture! Diana is in the pink shirt next to me (the guy in the floppy hat). I remember that day, too! Eric
  21. Nobody's Child - Traveling Wilburys Eric
  22. I'm sorry, but how in the world can anyone get to look like this: That's just...insane... Eric
  23. ^^ You're gonna be fine, just less wise when they're done. I had mine out when I was 38 (ten years ago) and all I got was a lousy T-shirt. Eric
  24. Thankfully, me in a Speedo. Believe me, that's the stuff nightmares are made of... Why do they call it "shoplifting?" You're not lifting the shop, y'know...
  25. This is a stupid one, but it bugs me nonetheless. It's when people refer to their cell phones as their "cell." How 'bout calling it your...PHONE? Eric
