That's the most beautiful shot of a coaster under construction ever. I love it. -
Jumping over/crossing station track
RCT3Bross replied to Ultimate's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
At my home park I only see them crossing the track of the dueling wooden coaster. I guess it's save because you haven't got any hole's in the track but what bothers me is the reason why they cross the track, Always when the departure the two trains and they left the station on both sides the employs cross the track and start chatting with one an other and when they see the trains are in the final breaks just in front of the station they sometimes cross before the train rides in the station. Lucky I'm seeing it only on the wooden coasters the others don't cross the track or if they have too they use the (then still empty) train as a save cross over. -
Happy New Year TPR!

Happy new Year everyone. On a healthy and good 2013 with lots of coasters. -
What will be the FIRST coaster you ride in 2013?
RCT3Bross replied to Wes's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I will start with The Python or Vogel Rok in the Efteling. Not my first choice because I was hopping on a new ride to start of with, not one I've ridden 100 times in the past 5 years. -
Why all the screaming, Robb?
RCT3Bross replied to douggw's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Robb's screaming is one of the reasons I love the TPR video's. I always hope Robb is the one who filmed it and hope on some Airtime, twisty or loop die loops. -
[Blog] European B&M Hunter
RCT3Bross replied to chehza's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I Only got to ride the German B&M's. Three great one's but I heard there are much better in Europe alone. I'm going to follow this since I love B&M. -
If you could tear down one coaster
RCT3Bross replied to coasterfreaksrttd's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Robin Hood (Walibi Holland). I had so much pain after riding it I gladly say it's a must not do. No chance I will ever ride it again. They should call Rocky mountains, Intamin or GCI for a new one the ride takes up enough space for a awesome wooden coaster. -
Rides I missed and are demolished: 1. Pegasus (Efteling). I was close by in 2008 as I could almost touch the ride. But after the Python we turned to a other section and we didn't return as my parents promised me back then. A while later I heard the ride was closed and not much later I received the news of the demolishing. Rides I missed and still having a chance to (Where operate at the last time of visit): 1. MP Xpress (Movie Park Germany). Quite silly that I didn't ride it. Just didn't want to ride one with inversions soon after Rock `n Rollercoaster. 2. Indiana Jones (Disneyland Paris). Fear of inversions back then. Remember having a argument with my dad about having a loop or not (Guess who won? ). 3. Space Mountain: Mission 2 (Disneyland Paris). The fear of Inversions. 4. Blue Tornado (Gardaland). Like the other three Gardaland rides: Fear of Inversions. 5. Magic Mountain (Gardaland). 6. Sequoia Adventure (Gardaland). I missed some other coasters at visits years back but made them all up by now.

Well there is always one thing I wondered about Slingshot rides. Now the time nears that I'm getting closer to see one in real life I believe its time to ask it. Is the first shot like the launch of a shoot 'n drop or something? I don't know the rides seem fun but I'm afraid of them somehow. I want to know are they really scary or should I ride at least one? Something completely different. Nice to see that there is finally some track over there. I hope they already did something on the footers or els they're going to take too long.

There are two rides I feared when I was at the Queue. Rock 'n Rollercoaster (DLP) because It I had a fear of Inversions back then. Well this ride changed my feelings about them but I was still shaking at the end of the ride. The other is Blue Fire (Europapark) and it is a silly fear. I somehow was put into a discomfort with the free legs, lap-bar and In-line twist combination but now I find it the best ride I ever ridden.

I did some research on the helix myself. I decided to look back at the announcement video and see if I saw anything in the Background and I did. Look here: Yellow is the first drop and station. Green is the dive into the tunnel. Red is the track that is on the other side of the tunnel. As we can see there is clearly no Helix anymore just a hump into the brakes. I wished I could make it clearer but you need to do it with this. So no helix. I can see they're well on there way. I hope on a visit, one of these years, to Texas, I can't mis this.

This looks amazing I want to have it. Here some things I want: - Peeps like many have said it's more fun with peeps in the park. - Wrong backed turns as they are more commonly around the amusement parks. - Shuttle's because as much I remember No Limit's didn't have any. - Turn table's and switch track it's normal in real life so why not. (Also transfer tracks that we can take a train of the track like real parks need to.) - Each builder has to have different things (Like the B&M flying can make a Pretzel-loop but the Flying Dutchman of Vekoma not). - All the current coaster types with all the updated possibilities (Like Wood can make Barrel rolls and add the winged coaster and Horizontal drop roller coaster) That's what I would love to see in this game. I've been waiting for a game like this for years.

Love the looks. I hope I'll be able to ride SW7 in 2013. But if the rumored element is true then these trains are very long. -

Can't wait for 2013,I'm going back to here since 2009 and a lot changed. I already loved the log flume with the theming and the drop. But when I stated figuring out that it could be going Backwards I got more exited about it. Right now I really want to ride this Log flume ride. No way in the world the old two where better than this one. I only wonder if the rapid ride is better or worser than Chiapas. -
Recentley back to Winter Efteling. (November 17th 2012) Although it looked fairly quiet in the morning I found out it was quite busy in the afternoon. I started my day in my familiar corner namely Ruigrijk for a round of Python and George and the Dragon. Then to Anderrijk for Bob but it was very busy so walked to Fata Morgana. After Spookslot I walked to Marerijk for a ride in Droomvlucht and Raveleijn. After Raveleijn I was hungry and I was already calling that I once had to try the donuts of Rondje van de molen (round of the mill) so done and it tastes pretty good. After I had had lunch at Reizerijk walked for natural Vogel Rok and I do not know what happens there. Where returned to a busy Ruigrijk where I could only ride George and the dragon once again. After that I went to the Bob it was quieter than the first time so stepped into the row. After Bob I wanted to once again go into the Fairytaleforrest but with my patience I only stopped at 2 fairytale Girl with Matchstick and the Emperor's New Clothes. The rest of the day I spent Carnival Festival and again Vogel Rok. I rushed to Villa Volta and Droomvlucht before the Illusions at night fell, Then I walked back to the Villa Volta for the illusions and this time they did it. It's much nicer in real life than on video for sure. I could ride one time George and the Dragon in the dark and the bob before I quit riding rides and decided to watch the shows. Now it was time for the start of Aquanura's first show. Now I had seen both shows at night so back to Villa Volta to make some picture's of the illusions. After that I passed by Rondje van de Molen and headed back to Aquanura for some Donuts and photos of Aquanura. Thanks for reading. : D

Well let's see. Toverland (NL): There are some coasters there that I really wish to try out. (First visit) Walibi Belgium (BE): For some classic fun as the Turbine reopens. (First visit) Europa park (D): Looking forward to ride my best coaster so far once a again (Blue Fire) and I'm curious about Wodan as it opened after my visit. (Second visit) Phantasialand (D): Love the park and had already planned to revisit it in 2012 (as my last visit was in 2009) but whit Chiapas it was moved a year. (Revisit) So there will be a few first time rides for me in 2013. Looking forward to one year without the Efteling as I visited that park about 7 times in 3 years. This park is standing on hold as I don't know if I'm going to visit it in 2013. Gardaland (I): Been there before but had a fear for inversions back then and have therefor zero credits there. I would love to ride the rides as they added 2 coasters after my last visit. (Third visit)

What Was The Last Coaster You Rode?
RCT3Bross replied to SharkTums's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Today the Bobbaan in the Efteling. -
Great coverage thanks Everyone. Also I couldn't be more happy to hear my three questions getting a answer (well dependence on what you call a answer with Walter. ) although S&S answered it by them self. But is it just me or was Gerstlauer not at the Expo? I haven't seen or heard anything about them this IAAPA.

Oldest Coaster You've Ridden
RCT3Bross replied to MSLSM's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Python is my oldest. A 1981 Vekoma looping coaster at The Efteling. -
2 things: 1. We clearly see that the inversions on Wooden coasters are a great step, what will change our view on them for following generations. But please any park in Europa go to RMC or Gravity Group and order one. I can't stand the fact that they're still America only. 2. Man IAAPA 2012 looks like a lot of fun. Kind of want to be there.

Phantasialand Discussion Thread
RCT3Bross replied to roeterich's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I Don't get it completely. Why using some space as some storage rooms but no office rooms? Like that you can troll the system by building attractions on the current office rooms. Then they will still keep the promise and have ground for more rides. I'm just saying. Wonder how the Aquapark will look like but knowing Phantasialand it would look great. I hoped with then new Parking space they would use the real entrance again (not only for buses) but I think now it will be used for Aquapark. Looking forward to some great concepts of the whole package. -

I like the design. You can easily see the resembling with the Hobbit's homes, but I like that a lot. For a fair price I would love to sleep in those, but I expect a great bill with it.
