  1. This energy saving coaster right here: Familieachtbaan in BillyBird park Hemelrijk.
  2. Love the ride. Just do. I'm going to here in 2014 now I'm completely certain about it.
  3. I can't read it. I hope to see a launched B&M very soon like next year, maybe? This beautiful track design would fit great on a low launched coaster.
  4. Yeah I must admit it will be funny as hell if they announce it as: "World First single track dueling coaster!" But I hope they soon announce what the world first part will be because this thing is starting to mess forums up.
  5. That looks great. I'm really glad that I came to TPR. Now I never mis the action.
  6. Is it me or is each picture of this amazing looking ride just wonderful? Man this is what they call a photogenic coaster.
  7. Enjoyed every last picture of it. Only I would say the Outside banked turn has been taken to late.
  8. Outlaw Run looks great. Looking forward to a full POV.
  9. This looks amazing. I expected it to look good but this is stunning. One of my favorite elements of 2013.
  10. There is still a blue square, yes - but on other images posted on other websites, there are pictures which clearly show that there is just an inversion in that position. Towerstimes have removed all news articles that they originally released about the washing machine element. But they have also put their rep on the line by claiming that there IS something record breaking. E.g a secret element. Lets say you're right and there is just a straight Peice of track there, then how is this a worlds first? How is it record breaking? There are 8 inversions outside, to break that record WITHOUT the secret element would take what, 6 more inversions inside? Not a chance that is happening. Unless its to do with the trains, I can't see how there won't be a secret element. Not necessarily a washing machine, but something new and groundbreaking. The above is all based around whether the original drawings are accurate. Alton Towers are well within their rights to alter the coaster layout to what was originally revealed, as they do not require planning permission for the coaster (only the building). I reckon they'll be going for the inversion record. Don't want to bitch or something, but that still not answer the why to this date the site of the Smiler (Of Alton Towers it self) says it's a World First. Besides I don't really know the construction rules over there, but my guess is that you can't chance something like that without a permit. It has to deal then with new environmental rules and harms and also noise emissions. Like I said I don't know how that goes over there but here you need to have an other permit for that. The rollercoaster doesn't need any planning permission as it is sited within an already permitted development area. So long as it remains below a height limit. So they could, for example, add a heart line roll in one of the straight bits. Or add a corkscrew where the s-bends are shown. The building however isn't included in the general development area and therefore has to stick to the approved permissions. But we won't really know until those bits of track are put up! Jon Sure but that are small things. But as I understand of his words he thinks about a completely new Lay-out or he needs to be more precise of saying little edits. Imagine going to ask a permit for a wooden shed and building a mansion. I'm still fishing about the World first part of the ride. I still believe the Washing Machine Element but I Don't know that for sure.
  11. Isn't the benefit of everything on Theme Park Review being totally for free enough? It's $35 per year, we give you back $15 in TPR store credit, so it ends up being $20. The most important thing your dues for Club TPR helps out is keeping the very expensive servers running that hold all our free content. And on top of that, we will continue to send you loads of other free stuff throughout the year! EDIT: Sorry just realized you were international - so it's $45 per year, or $30. (Which is only about 22 EUR) I must say it all sounds really appealing. But because I'm warned in the past of paying for something like this is probably why the doubting comes from. I guess I need some time over thinking this, because I would love to support TPR.

  13. I've been thinking about joining Club TPR for sometime now, but can't get myself to actually join. I'm not yet thinking about joining the tours and stuff, so can I really have benefit by joining Club TPR?
  14. Love it. I never expeted them to be this far after yesterday. But this looks amazing.
  15. There is still a blue square, yes - but on other images posted on other websites, there are pictures which clearly show that there is just an inversion in that position. Towerstimes have removed all news articles that they originally released about the washing machine element. Could you give an example of such a picture??? Sorry but not impressed. This picture has no clear view on the location so no need by that.. Also Towertimes works together with Alton Towers to keep it a secret wile this could be just of a enthusiast site with no intention to keeping a secret together with Alton Towers.
  16. ^ No they haven't I just watch it a sec ago. Want a link here you go: http://www.towerstimes.co.uk/sw7/construction/
  17. ^ I must say Yes merlin is lately making a big hype about a carousel. But they will always announce it as a (Super amazingly scary) Carousel. Meaning that if they say it's a world first we probably have a new element and not nothing but a break underneath the big blue spoilers. We get something more then just a inversion, you can take that from them. Looking at the space my guess has to go to the Washing Machine Element.
  18. ^ What do you see happening then on that small space? If you say the Washing Machine element isn't coming. I must say I really doubt that people are trying to be up to date with this ride. It's like you can say the same thing over and over and over and over again.
  19. ^ Oh snap I was hoping on the winged coaster of B&M.
  20. ^&^^ Oops my bad didn't saw them clear enough to know. Man looks good. Never mind had the once of Dare Devil Dive in my head.
  21. Just some advice for here: Always prepare yourself for the worst case scenario, because then everything will end up better than expected. But I really don't see them going for lap-bars with at 4X4 train. I mean look at Gerstlauer's Euro fighter lap-bar trains there almost just as wide as the normal euro fighter trains and only have place for two persons per row. Those trains will be too wide for the Smiler.
  22. These type of trains made me chance my favorite coaster at my home park. Funny that it has the same lay-out as magic mountain but is much older (The Python at the Efteling).
  23. The last part stand up vertical. Come back to this post again for updates in the next few minutes. Edit: 3:01 PM: Keyhole replaced, now next to his end destination. Edit: 3:03 PM: Keyhole in the air. Edit: 3:06 PM: Keyhole at end destination. Almost ready for securing. Edit: 3:07 PM: Keyhole is ready for Securing: From the other side: Keyhole on his place. Now they only need some track going through them and its perfect.
  24. Mother nature has given the blessing: The second key-hole goes up. Can't wait to see the track go through them.
