  1. I don't have a real new coaster for 2013 but it reopens in 2013 Turbine. Kinda looking forward to ride a classic Schwarzkopf Shuttle looping. Second thing I'm looking forward to is a non-coaster: Chiapas the new Log-flume ride at Phantasialand. Still a good looking year to look forward to. Must admit that there are some coasters in America that look great. (like the Yolocoaster, Gatekeeper, Outlaw run and Iron Rattler)
  2. The Efteling. Going to check out the Shows at night. Man I'm looking forward to 2013 will be a better year.
  3. Question to S&S: Can we expect a smaller compact versions of the 4D, (so small parks can fit one to)?
  4. Question for B&M: Are you working on Lab-bar restrains on coasters with Inversions?
  5. After 2011: Steel: 1. Bleu Fire (Europapark) 2. Black Mamba (Phantasialand) 3. Silver Star (Europapark) 4. Rock n Rollercoaster (Disneyland Paris) 5. Goliath (Walibi Holland) 6. Thyphoon (Bobbejaanland) 7. Python (Efteling) 8. Euro Mir (Europa Park) 9. Xpress (Walibi Holland) 10: Winja's Fear and Force (Phantasialand) All my wood in a top 3: 1. Joris en de Draak (Efteling) 2. The Bandit (Movie park Germany) 3. Robin Hood (Walibi Holland) (Ride sucks can't wait to trow it out of a top 10. ) after 2012: Steel: 1. Bleu Fire (Europapark) 2. Black Mamba (Phantasialand) 3. Silver Star (Europapark) 4. Krake (Heide-Park) 5. Rock n Rollercoaster (Disneyland Paris) 6. Goliath (Walibi Holland) 7. Desert Race (Heide-Park) 8. Thyphoon (Bobbejaanland) 9. Python (Efteling) 10: Speed of Sound (Walibi Holland) All my wood in a top 4: 1. Colossos (Heide-Park) 2. Joris en de Draak (Efteling) 3. The Bandit (Movie park Germany) 4. Robin Hood (Walibi Holland) The 2013 parks are already chosen so next year I'll have a new top 10 Steel and a top 6 Wood.
  6. 2012 had two big highlight for me. 1. Aquanura: The new water show was amazing to see in real life, and I still have to see it at night. A great show that I surely wish to see more often when I'm there. 2. Heide-Park: The vised to Heide-park was a good one. Three rides made my whole day Scream, Krake and off coarse Colossos. It was a great park with some rides I never had done before. But I will not go to the park before they add more decant rides. This made my 2012.
  7. I just have to react in this thread. I read about it Tuesday and I don't now how to react on a 7th Star Wars movie. Off coarse it's a new Star Wars movie I love them but a new part can screw up the whole series going to much of the radar. Also Disney being able to make more (and please better) attractions with Star Wars sounds good. Can't wait for 2015 to watch it in theaters. Just needed to say it.
  8. *sight. Not sure anymore. But I guess 12 is getting close to it if I wasn't faster, my memory is quite hazy after that.
  9. That surely brings a smile on my face, but more in a way of I want to laugh at it. But I admit for the rumors it does sound a bit sinister like the smiley logo. I believe it could be true but wait on the official announcement to believe it.
  10. Colossos (Heide Park) holds be best airtime so far.
  11. Black Mamba at Phantasialand. Took me to long to go to a park with a B&M.
  12. ^^ That's true I denied to believe it was Gerstlauer by that. The Track looks nice and fresh.
  13. ^^ Yes please do that Alton Towers. I love the SW7 rumors so far. But thinking about the rumors this ride must have small trains, large trains will simply be to heavy and will need a big piece of track to flip on. Looking forward to the building progress of this ride and can't wait to visit Alton Towers as soon as possible.
  14. Let's see if I'm getting this right. A piece of track that can flip 360 degrees around his axis? If so I wonder how that looks and feels. Sure does make it a world first like promised.
  15. Two points on Europa for me. 1. The Log flume ride at Phantasialand is called Chiapas. 2. The spinning coaster (called d' Wervelwind) is already open. The official opening was last Monday October 1st. The rapid does opens in 2013. Just two little mistakes you made in Europa.
  16. Looks like fun. But who els is having a Deja vu ? Didn't they had a fear theme for Sub-terra and failed horrible? So SW7 joins the list of the first of there kind in Alton Towers, wonder what its going to make him a world first.
  17. Although it's quiet sad to see a coaster gets removed (doesn't matter how many times people called it bad a lost is a lost, besides I can't talk about it because I never ridden SoB ) it is always amazing to was them bring the ride down, and look forward on the replacement ride of the park. So what will replace SoB? Daughter of Beast? No, on all seriousness I really see the park to go to Rockymontain for a new ride, and they won't surprise me with a ride like Outlawrun.
  18. ^^ I use it as a guideline to the builder. The rumor says a Gerstlauer Eurofighter but most of them are build with the triangular shape track en the double tube track. Off coarse they could have a new track design (they could), but I don't expect them to build a full track out of it right away, I would say that they sooner make a combination of the double tube track and the new track in order to look at it. So I think it is a company that has a history of using the round backbone. I won't rule Gerstlauer out but I think the chance is small.
  19. Opening I hope I think they won't announce it on March 1st. Wonder what's going to make it a world beating. This ride is going to be great. I'm still wondering on the builder. Seeing the track is not from Gerstlaurer but more Premier or Maurer style, I would still say one of those above Gerstlaurer.
  20. Do you know what's crazy the park Slagharen (Netherlands) still get four new attractions next year. This park is also of Parques Reunidos and if they have a shortage on money why not cut it away from Slagharen, give them 3 or 2 new attractions and use that money for Movie park the park deserve to keep growing in my opinion.
  21. Steel: Silver star (Europa park) Wood: Colossus (Heide park)
  22. Thorpe park has always had the strangest rules like the, forbidden to raise your hands during the ride, rule (it might smell). Now breathalysers? if you are to drunk you can't ride? Wow What follows?
  23. Suspended Top spin is it for me. I like them because they're not giving me a major hit like the classic top spin give me (I'm talking about the sudden speed and brake when a classic goes upside down). And the Suspended is a lot of fun.
  24. Then still Stopping it is a bit of a let down. Like i said let it go to the Top-Hat and let it rollback so the launch will be strengthened by that. (Not that it usually makes it harder to take it over the element. Because if you would drop it from the top into the launch add the speed it uses less then halfway into the loop and drop it. ) Kinda dumb how it is now but sure looks fun to do.
  25. ^ Are you telling me I won't be able to do the backward launch. My planning for 2013 is full and thanks to the law in America (driving laws) i won't be able to go in 2013. So I'm thinking about a 2014 trip to America (CA) for SFMM (Also SFDK and Disneyland). That's a bummer, that's one of the part that makes me want to ride it.
