Except for the major Superman Escape from krypton like launch we need. I took the opportunity to measure some Premier and Intamin normal launches to fit the spot and those where around half the route closer to the station. If they going to use the Log Jammer station i think we get a launch and a part of the ride to the tunnel and then launch 2 in the tunnel. Then they can make the record breaking Inversion everywhere they want. Just to show the major distance of the Tunnel and the Station. That Premier Facebook post does set me thinking on what it could be. All I hope is that it's not going to be a shuttle, I don't think shuttle's are that great. I rather have a full circuit ride.

^ and ^^ Wow thanks for the support. Did I said I believed a word? No I didn't, I just said what I could recall from this site and that's not a lie, I did read somewhere someone wanted Scream to be replaced to that Six Flags. I'm just trying to recall the nonces I read and move back to the Full Throttle rumor and the 2013 ride.

I'm just saying it could be a S:UF type (not a clone certainly not.). But think about it a ride like that going over and under the guest, why not? I'm just thinking about it because it's not a area that could fit Tatsu or X2 (or i must be wrong again with my location). If it was a bit bigger I would certainly bet on the rumored Dual launch but my guess not enough space, then they need to build a second tunnel or they need to go over and under gold rush and the log flume. I'm just looking at the posiblitie's here and the S:UF type ride is one. This is the location of the tunnel (red) right?

Found the location on google maps. Quite a small area for a launched coaster or the launch must go through the tunnel. So I think its something like the following: Six flags Discovery Kingdom, Superman Ultimate Flight. Source rcdb.com. I think it's a great chance it's going to be like Superman at SFDK. Of coarse a different lay-out and that the launch will go through the tunnel.

Sounds to me like an other august 30th announcement. (although I know she said next week.) I hope it's Full Throttle, but that we know in a week. Surely it isn't the slingshot because building it there would be impossible right? Edit: Can someone point out the exact location of the tunnel? I'm not that well known to the park.

Favorite Coaster Sounds
RCT3Bross replied to TheAmazingCP's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
The B&M roar I just love it. Also the scraping sound of Collossos (Intamin pre-fap, Heide park). And last sound is the Express (Vekoma LSM, WAlibi Holland) launch sound. -
I really wouldn't be surprised if it turned out to be a Mack. Alright if you think about Six Flags Mack-rides isn't the first name you call. (More like B&M or Intamin.) But it doesn't mean they won't pick Mack for that reason. Mack can build great launched coasters I see. But I must say I see them pick Intamin faster if it is a launched. Can't wait to the announcement of SFMM for 2013. I must visit this park as soon as possible ,it looks awesome.

List the parks you have visited in 2012
RCT3Bross replied to ernierocker's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Like every year I went to 3 parks this year: Efteling Walibi Holland Heide park although not much I think 2012 was a great year. Had my first Shuttle coaster (Speed of Sound) and first Diving Coaster (Krake). But I'm already looking forward to 2013. -
Strangest layouts
RCT3Bross replied to Her0ofLime's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
To think SDC new 2013 ride hasn't been said here. A wooden roller coaster with 3 inversions isn't what we call normal. -
What Was The Last Coaster You Rode?
RCT3Bross replied to SharkTums's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Limit Heide Park. Did the better rides first off coarse. -
Oh I forgot my last Efteling Trip report a while ago. Allright only on request I shall still post him so if you want just ask. (Was from Aquanura openings day got pictures of the show) Yeah I've been away again this time Heide park. Today I got back from a 3 day holiday in Germany. Wednesday I left to a small town in Germany, Bad Fallingsbostel, to go the day after to Heide Park. The park was a lot of fun but more for children, so as a teenager you are through it quick at 3 o'clock we left and we had done all we wanted. But that didn't make it less fun. The coasters were all good Especially Krake and Colossos. The day itself: We were early in the park half an hour before the gates opened so we needed to wait. But then quickly walked to Krake for the B&M fun. Although only a small track, it's surprisingly good. The fall is beautiful in the front bungling there above the Krake. Then on the way to Big loop, which was near. Then the second highlight of the day: Scream! this sure was fun to do. I must say I'd rather go in a Shoot 'n drop than into a free fall they're a bit duller. Then we enjoyed the fun in the Swiss bobsleigh run of the park it was more fun than in Europe park, but that is certainly the length. Then highlight 3 of the day Colossos the highest wooden roller coaster in the world. It's were we had to wait the longest time for, 50 minutes others were 30 minutes at the most. The Chain lift certainly has a nice view at the back of the train of the park. and when you turn away and got lifted from your seat for the steep drop it was awesome. I decided to raise my hands once in a coaster so I did in Colossos. Not so good idea I knocked my elbow very hard on the handle of the lap bar so hard I still feel it. Drop Colossos: One of the last hupjes: Last turn: Well we did Colossos and Krake and it was just 12 o'clock, but there was still plenty to do. After some food we decided to take it a bit easy so Grottenblitz the motorized roller coaster. After that something a bit more thrilling so up to the desert for Desert Race, The queue was long but went surprisingly fast. We were lucky because there was only a couple in front of us before we could queue up in front of the train, that couple decided to sit somewhere halfway the train and so I could sit front seat what I prefer with Launch coasters. Desert race: End launch and Colossos behind it: GoGoGo! Beautiful helicopter: Still one roller coaster, Limit. So, yes, Limit it was. In front of Limit hung a horror sign that said "Prepare for a 60 minute waiting to ride Limit." Well that was it for my father and brother (who didn't want to way that long anymore) but not for me, I just kept standing like a roller coaster fan supposed to do. Eventually the queue wasn't that bad after all just 30 minutes. Aircraft on the Roof of Limit: A Look at Scream from Limit's queue: The ship and the Krake, really nice to see: Again people waiting for the fall: Actually zoomed too far and was too late, but still quite nice to see that water: Better. The water that follows you during the splash. It was quite high I must say: Well that was it for the photos but not the day. Then we went to the water, the log flume to be precise . It was fun but short, I would rather try the one that is closed, but yeah couldn't. Now some more shops. First the Lego shop just for fun but that didn't impress me at all (and that with Legoland having the same owner. (Merlin)). Well just forward to the main shop I walked in and I saw another nice T-shirt laing there that I couldn't say no to. So I expended my collection with a Colossos T-shirt . Looking back to it I'm pleased with the day in the park the rides where nice and I just love them.

Read that a while ago. The choose on manufacture still needs to take place but apparently the three they had a look for where: Vekoma, Mack and B&M. I as a B&M fan love to see one in my home country so I'm still hoping on a B&M in 2015. Off coarse a Mack mega coaster makes me happy too if it's as good or better than Blue Fire that was great. Not so big fan for a Vekoma ride the most Vekoma rides I had where shaky and head bangers. So still siting with my finger crossed for finally a B&M in the Netherlands. X X -
I agree on the praising stuff they are not great parks but i shall point you a fault. The last attraction in Walibi Holland came last year a 5D theater (haven't seen a cheaper 3,4,5D theater before) and they had in 2005 splash battle. That doesn't mean they are doing a good job but just to let you know.

This sounds promising a double barrel roll on wood. I learned to late about it, I want to see it. Just have to wait ten days for that, but if that's not the big release over 10 days ( what I honestly doubt) i want a screenshot. -

To think a roller coaster with this big name was such a horrible ride. I wonder if I must be happy or sad that I never had a change to ride this coaster. But reading what people have to say here I'm going for happy. Can't leave this question out: Are they going to replace it with Grandson of Beast? -
What is your next park?
RCT3Bross replied to onewheeled999's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Next park is Heide park. Looking forward to ride the world's highest operational wooden roller coaster, and also my first diving. -

The Rumor / Crazy Idea Superthread
RCT3Bross replied to Wes's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Let them make inversions first before going further with wood. No, but it could be possible to make wooden inversions I made some designed that work on paper thinking about G-forces and how to build them up. You will get these square's but they are firm and constructible for any manufacture team (Prefab or just making it on site). I designed the loop, in-line twist (not completely done making it is still hard) and Corkscrew all still can be better and measurements need to be done before you should build them. Like you can read I'm a big fan for evolutions in wooden roller coaster. -
Phantasialand Discussion Thread
RCT3Bross replied to roeterich's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
No news about that. Guess we're getting such news after they made their plan for the new expansion in autumn. Well if you're visitor at Phantasialand you just see a big construction field in the center of the park. It's really really ugly. From the Berlin Arcardes and Talocan is a great view on it.. So they had to announce it... I wouldn't had revealed the whole layout and the model yet, but not my business. I guess it'll be an Intamin Reversing Boat Ride, just a bad capacity with 8 riders per boat... In real the model looks really cool - can't wait for the construction. I saw several indoor parts, 2 lifts and 2 drops.. 1 small (at the BlackMamba side) and a big one, guess with a small airtime hill. The "mountain" seems to be "connected" with the tower of Black Mamba. Thanks for the answer. I guess you're right about the field part, although i been to the park several times so I know what big space is missing now i didn't thought about that. Besides where does the model stand? I'm going to visit the park maybe this summer and I like to see it. But i made a fast drawing in paint for the lay-out of this new attraction: This is what i got after seeing the picture's. The thick blue stripes is the lay-out. Lift 1 is between lift 2 and 3 from Colorado adventure. The first drop in the mountains (finishing outside) at the Black mamba tower. After that a small out-door trip before being you go up on lift 2 that is outdoor between the mountains making a turn into the big dive with the bunny hop at the end coming out in the water hazard (light blue). Red is just path ways and gray is rocks as theme orange is the station building. It's a fast impression i made so it's not completely correct. But as far as i could see it this is the lay-out. The small purple is what I presume to be the ride entry going under the bunny hop and walking trough the rocks to the station. -

Looks like a great new water ride. Love the idea of making it in a mountain. But isn't it a bit out of the normal for the park to announce a ride this early? Must mean they're going to start soon. But still don't don't know if that extra land is for expansion for park self or for something else (parking, hotels that kinda stuff).
