^ After the latest concept art of the Smiler, the rumor goes for OTSR floor-less trains 4X4 (As we knew). But he we talk about Concept art here. -
Alton Towers Discussion Thread

Great picture of the Element. I must say I really see them focusing on the station now because the ride is still under construction when the park opens. That way they have more control of the release of the element. Can't wait for more vertical pictures of the Smiler and in July I really am going on this. -

Love it. I must say I generally love the B&M winged coaster trains look. Many themed versions made them look awesome. Favorite themed winged coaster trains: 1. Gardaland: Raptor. 2. Thorpe park: Swarm. 3. Ocean kingdom: Flying over the Rainforest. Looking forward to ride one in 2013. Anyway A other great picture Hanno. -
Made some edits to mine as well, with one big turn of events: Toverland (NL): There are some coasters there that I really wish to try out. (First visit) Walibi Belgium (BE): For some classic fun as the Turbine reopens. (First visit) Thorpe Park (UK): By going for a England trip instead of a Italy trip, Europa Park and Gardaland are out of the picture. Looking forward to Swarm now. (First visit) Alton Towers (UK): I can't wait to try out the Smiler. This park is why I want to go to England in the first place. (First visit) Phantasialand (D): Want to visit this park since it chanced a lot after my last visit in 2009. I wanted to go in 2012 but moved it a year thanks to Chiapas. (Revisit) Much better list than the last one.

Thanks for the warning I would never have expected that in Italy. Just for Information (why I didn't thought of this before is crazy but) how is that in England? I know I'm bringing a big twist, but I had Italy in mind because I should be able to drive there. So if I don't have a license why not thinking about the UK instead? Edit: Talked about it with my mother (Not that she is coming with me) and I've decided to say no to Italy and rather go to England. To be honest I've been killing myself that I wouldn't go to England now with the new Smiler at Alton Towers and the Swarm at Thorpe park going backwards. So I had a little talk with my mother about this and decided to go for it. This brings so much more in less parks.

Hello I'm RCT3Bross, I noticed that in this board many people asked for traveling advice so that's why I came here. This year I would love to go to Italy (Say around July) but I there is a chance I won't have any drivers licenses so I have to find other ways. I did some research and found out that Gardaland and Mirabilandia (The two parks I'm planning to visit) are easily reachable by train. So to reach the parks I won't have a problem with but how to reach Italy I do have a problem with. I've been doing research myself but got thrown so many airports and the train isn't easy as well. So my question is: Can someone give me good advice on how to reach Italy and where to stay (Like in a guest hose, camping or hotel)? I would appreciate any advice given so I can go on planning this trip. Not important anymore go to post 2 for new plan.

On the last construction project I worked with there was this guy who always had a ringtone that sounded like the alarm of Blue Fire. You know that point when you're still inside and all the smoke comes then the alarm, that is the alarm I was talking about. -

I must say this time they told the date for the placement it better. I guess they did learn from there last experience. I took a look at the color of the towers and found this: The container's color of coarse. Doesn't look that different but I guess it will be. This is going great. -

Yeah It finally happened. Great news today. Soon the sexy B&M track will go through that (still open) hole. Does someone know what those two connection parts, below the hole on the front, are for? -

The park got slammed with a very windy snowstorm the end of last week, which means the cranes can't lift any of the steel. I figured there was something. Thanks for letting me know. Although I must say the park should have said something, like on Facebook: "Sorry followers of Gatekeeper but the Key-hole doesn't go up today, there is too much wind." There are lot of people who don't know this and follow the park.
