Why all the screaming, Robb?
-Edge of Beast- replied to douggw's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
In short: Robb has to have fun too.. he can't spend his whole time riding roller coasters staying silent to insure the best POVs out there. This is his job, and he has fun doing it. If you don't enjoy watching them, so what? Btw, I've been watching Robb's videos since I was 9 or 10.. I didn't think they were bad whatsoever. -

Awesome photos, Jeremie! Looks like you got a great day at the park! -
I'm honestly surprised that the height restriction for Outlaw Run is 48 inches. It seems like such an intense coaster, and I can't imagine small children being tossed around on it. Well I guess Silver Dollar City is always trying to find ways to let families ride the attractions together, which probably explains the requirement on this. Isn't Powder Keg 43 inches with an adult? I was estimating 52 inches for it. With the two barrel rolls, extremely banked turns, and enormous airtime, it added up correctly in my understanding.

How well do you handle hangtime?

I was freaking out on Manta going up the lift, because like a few others, I was worried about the restraints unlocking. I can't imagine that happening in real life. -

Corkscrew Gardens (RCT2)

I love that coaster that dips into the ground so much. I don't even know why, but it's such a unique concept and looks amazing. Btw, nice architecture! -
Most Complicated Restraints
-Edge of Beast- replied to tribar's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Top Spins have complex-looking restraints. Although, you don't have to pull those down yourself, the mechanisms do it for you. I find GP to be rather clueless when it comes to any kind of OTSR overall. I always see people who don't even know how to get the seatbelt lock thing out of the restraints on B&Ms. -
Man, those slopes are insane. Here in Kansas City we have a place on the side of a hill that makes fake snow to ski on, but I'd love to go on a real mountain. Although I'm more of a snowboarder. Fantastic pics, Coup!

Those Swarm and Stealth pictures are awesome! I liked the PTR Jeremie, and I can't wait to see the next one from England! -
I'm with Werner - both Orlando and Tampa would be wonderful places to live for a coaster enthusiast. I heard the cities themselves aren't bad, but it's the amusement parks that form them. Well, Orlando at least. Anyway, I live in Kansas City.. the worst place for an enthusiast to live. Worlds of Fun - about 40 minutes away Six Flags St Louis - 4 hours away Silver Dollar City/Branson - 3 hours away Elitch Gardens - 8-9 hours away Meh, I don't really like where I am.

Okay, I'm a little late but I'd love to participate. I figured maybe I could put my name down while the scenario was being revised. -
Best American B&M Inverted coaster

1) Dragon Challenge / Dueling Dragons Ice 2) Batman The Ride at SFOT 3) Patriot 4) Montu 5) Raptor I don't know why but I didn't have the best experience riding Montu. It definitely wasn't bad, but it wasn't my favorite.
