  1. ^ Those are some nice looking coasters. I like the Volcano: The Blast Coaster recreation. Are you going to add a volcano?
  2. That's a nice place! I love how you can get a room that overlooks the water park. I've never seen that in any other hotel.
  3. Never been to HNN but I need to go. Judging by your TRs and reviews, it seems like a good time!
  4. That thing looks like it's gonna pull some ultimate G's.
  5. What's up everybody? If you don't know me, my name is Sam or -Edge of Beast-. This is where I will post all of my trip reports and other random attractions 'n' stuff. Adventures: Elitch Gardens: 10/27/11 - Page 1 Denver Aquarium: 10/27/11 - Page 1 Worlds of Fun: 4/22/12 - Page 1 Worlds of Fun: 7/13/12 - Page 2 MiniVentures: Estes Park: 12/3/11 - Page 1 ---------------------------------- Hey everyone! In August I got a chance to go to Elitch Gardens and the Denver Aquarium on my way to Estes Park, Colorado. Denver is one of my favorite places, so I was glad to go back and visit. However, the main trip was to go to Estes Park, but we stopped at Denver for two days. Elitch Gardens was a fairly nice park. I loved the urban scene all around the park, since it was right next to Downtown Denver. However, I did feel it was in a somewhat dangerous part of the city, which is a downside. The park had a good selection of rides. Nothing to frown upon, but nothing to get excited about either. My favorites rides there were the Tower of Doom, Sidewinder, and Ghostblasters. It was also my first time to ride an SLC... not the greatest experience. Tower of Doom: I ended up really loving it. You can see the widespread of attractions at the park and you can see downtown easily. The height of it freaked me out a tiny bit once we reached the top, just a mild fear of heights, but it wasn't too bad. Mind Eraser: My first SLC... also my last. Twister II: Twister II was a pretty enjoyable ride. A bit shaky, but fun nevertheless. It also scared me how the structure shaked whenever a train went by, but I didn't think about it on the coaster. Ghostblasters: Oh man I loved this attraction! It was fun, but rather creepy at the same time! I rode it twice because I enjoyed it a lot. Sidewinder: Slow operations, exciting ride. Nothing more to say other than that. Big Wheel: It was an enjoyable ferris wheel! Gave some good views. Shipwreck Falls: Biggest drench-filled ride ever. ----------- Elitch Gardens: August 3rd, 2011- The fun ferris wheel that I rode a few times. The last time it rained for a little bit, so we had to get off. Here's the beautiful midway and the water park. I didn't ride Half Pipe since I absolutely despise spinning rides. It didn't look too fun anyways. Just a view from the ferris wheel. Mess of crappy rides! A shot of downtown and Elitch Gardens. Gross... SLC. I hope you enjoyed my Elitch Gardens trip report! It was definitely a good park, though it lacks great attractions. It's actually a better park than you might think it is. I can't wait to go back to Denver and get more pictures of the park! Coming next: Denver Aquarium
  6. This is one sexy park Grrt! I really like your details you put into it. Definitely better than some other parks I've seen. I can't wait to see more of it!
  7. That's a nice little park they have there! Thanks for the trip report. They have some cheap prices, maybe they should inform Cedar Fair and Six Flags.
  8. I saw that Half Pint Brawlers a few days back while at Halloween Haunt... ridiculous. It is kind of entertaining to watch midgets fight, but it is strange. And by the way, when I went Saturday night the parking lot was so full they started filling up the field. By the time I left the park the field was full. It was a sight to see. I've never seen the park so busy.
  9. Swarm is definitely looking nice so far! They've been building it very fast. But we all no B&M and their magical ways.
  10. My sister just got the iPhone 4S, and wow. The camera is spectacular! Definitely a big change from the iPhone 4 to the iPhone 4S.
  11. Come on Worlds of Fun. You're falling even farther behind in the long run! I also figured we would get a Windseeker, but since there has been no announcement yet, I guess not. Wow, that's three years in a row without getting something. Damn the park is doing horrible.
  12. Oops, I'm sorry for making that other thread. But is this thread only for Theme Park Halloween Events? If so, I went to Worlds of Fun for Haunt a couple weeks ago. I only got two haunted houses in, which sucks. I went to Master McCarthy's Doll Factory and London Terror. I also went through CarnEvil, but that's a Scare Zone. Yeah, it turned out to be a pretty bad night for me...
  13. Sorry for the bump, but you might want to add shyguy's World's Complete List of Custom Content. It has every single custom object sorted out in ABC order on it. Link
  14. So, I'm a big fan of haunted houses. I live in Kansas City and there's 4 haunted houses that I visit each year: Edge of Hell, The Beast, Chambers of Edgar Allen Poe, and Macabre Cinema. I started thinking of a thread for everything related to haunted houses. You may also talk about: - Home haunts - Conventions - TV Shows Feel free to post pictures of your haunted houses or any reviews. We'd love to here 'em!
  15. Steel: Mamba at Worlds of Fun (floater) Wooden: Timber Wolf at Worlds of Fun (ejector) Wow. Both are from Worlds of Fun, haha.
