  1. Loved the trip report, Nathan! I really want to visit Indiana Beach, it looks so fun. Btw, nice camera too.
  2. Seriously? Man, the building seems tiny in person. Must have just been the angles I saw it at.
  3. Worlds of Fun's splash boats are getting some wear and tear also. It's showing a lot of rust and the boats are outdated. Plus the ride just doesn't seem intense anymore in my opinion. But if something were to come to SFStL, I'm having suspicions for La Vibora.
  4. Man, I wish I could participate in this. Disaster Transport might be cheesy, but I still love it. But since I live in Kansas, I don't think I'll be able to do this. Such a bummer I couldn't ride it anymore.
  5. Meh, I haven't ridden it Griffin. I don't like spinning rides. Although my friends say it is a little cheesy and weird, but I can't give you my own opinion. A Little WOF Trip Report - July 13th, 2012 I decided to hit up the park Friday (the 13th ) with my family later at night. We got there around 7, to noticed the park was loaded. I thought it might not be busy on a Friday night, especially on the thirteenth, but it was packed. Mostly teenagers smooching off with their girlfriends and boyfriends, but many families chose to go that night too. Well anyway, we got their and I noticed my camera was pretty much dead. Because of that I didn't get too many photos. None of Patriot, Timber Wolf, or Planet Snoopy - plus a lot of other things of course. On to the park itself. Operations were standard - they were running two trains on almost every ride that they could. The operators, while seeming a little more 'smiley' than usual, were somewhat slow and drowsy from the heat I'm guessing. Each ride had about a ten to fifteen minute wait, though Prowler and Patriot were almost walk-ons the whole time I was there, with an occasional line showing up. Not much else to say, so enjoy these (few) pictures! Btw, there are some haunt construction photos! Viking Voyager doing its thang. Oh yeah, I also got my sister to ride Prowler for her first time. Note that she has always been deathly afraid of coasters. It was running fast that day. Mmm Haunt This building looks tiny in person. I don't get how they're going to fit a whole haunted house in there. Don't fall for its charming looks. Warning: tons of Mamba pictures dead ahead. Meh, this pic turned out kinda shaky She purrtyy I love this picture. Approaching Queue shot 'nator. That's all the photos I could get. Sorry, hopefully I'll charge my camera next time. Thanks for reading!

  7. A little project of mine I started earlier tonight. I call it The Berry Farm, owned and operated by the Berry family. The park, located in a tiny roadside town named Sedalia, Missouri, was made to entertain the locals and visitors on the way to places such as St Louis or Kansas City. It didn't want to be one of those cheap-dirt parks, so they hauled out a tad more cash and gave it some buildings and high-class rides. Even today they still provide tours of the farm for a low price. Though it is still small and somewhat cheap, it is the best entertainment for miles! By the way, the logo isn't the official one! Haha
  8. I don't think the one at Great Escape will be moving soon. It seems to be in shape, unlike its other relatives. And I never though about Pandemonium, that might be going, too.
  9. A few days late, but a couple days ago they began constructing the new haunt building. I think it's awfully small, way smaller than Worlds of Fun's typical haunts.
  10. I'm assuming La Vibora or Flashback. Those two would make the most sense, they are quite outdated. And next years addition.. Thomas Town. I'm called it.
  11. Finished + Video! Grizzly, my newest "beast of a coaster" is completed. It took about three totals weeks to construct, and now it is finished. VIDEO This is definitely my best video to date, so make sure to subscribe for more! ~/~\~/~\~/~\~ Enjoy!
  12. Great photos as always, Chad! I'm excited for the announcement for this. I just have to see the full layout of this monster.
  13. A new coaster by moi. Just something I started earlier tonight.
  14. I feel like Michigan's Adventure is the awkward/weird park out of the bunch. Ah well, it still looks pretty fun! Spectacular trip report like always.
  15. Please read the original thread from RCTLounge first. !!CLICK HERE!!. Grizzly - Update Three - Parachute Drop and Overview Hello! Time for another update. I suddenly got a burst of inspiration and now I can't stop updating this! But anyway, this update focuses on the parachute drop adjacent from Grizzly. There's not much to say about it, so here are some photos. Overview:
  16. I just really hope it's lengthy. SDC seems to have this cliche of short lasting coasters, so maybe we'll get lucky with this one.
  17. Man, there's always errors with Flying Turns! Haha. I wouldn't be surprised to see it open by 2015, or maybe by its ten year anniversary of construction.
  18. Haha, Yeti, I was at the park Wednesday also! Wildfire did have an extreme shake, more than a typical B&M, but I agree - it's probably the heat causing the wheels to melt or burn. It was running unbelievably fast, but I don't think the trims were on.
  19. I still need to head up to SFSL soon. I'm going camping next week near the park, so hopefully I can stop by. Awesome trip report, Nathan!
  20. I had no clue about the so-called inversion until just a few minutes ago. When I took these pictures yesterday I did notice the overbanked turn was awfully steep, but I didn't know it was an inversion till now. So here's two somewhat good photos of the 2013 coaster. They haven't gotten much done since the last photos posted. But you can tell it gets steeper and steeper. This makes it more obvious that it is an inversion, however, because construction doesn't pass this part of the coaster. The station area is coming along nicely. So there's that.
  21. I seriously can't get over how steep that drop is. Not to mention the insane angle of that turnaround. Boy I'm excited for the announcement. I get to see this beast for myself on Tuesday
