  1. I'm pretty sure they had something just like this in the outdoor exhibits at IAAPA this year. My dad and I loved it (even if it was just ~ 50 feet high and our view consisted of parking lots and people) and it's perfect for an area like this! Should work out great for families!
  2. Looks like I gotta beg my dad to take me to Hershey next summer! Seriously, that drop is beautiful .
  3. ^ I highly doubt they'd open year round just because the one in Tampa is. There's a HUGE climate difference between Florida and Virginia. I don't think the park would be able to stay open through the entire winter considering how much it can snow up there.
  4. ^^ The new Invert coming to France next year looks promising. It's been nicknamed "Montu Deux" Honestly, I love B&Ms. I've been on every type of their coaster (except wing-rider) and have loved all of them. It's so hard for me to decide my favorite because I've been on some of the best of each kind. (Nitro, Kumba, SheiKra, Manta, Montu, Kraken, Hulk, Dragons) but I personally adore flying coasters because of the unique feeling they offer. Plus, the pretzel loop on Manta always gives some of the best forces I've experienced.
  5. That turn looks extremely tight and forceful from the angle of the webcam. Can't wait for more track to go up!
  6. Expedition Everest is one of my favorite roller coasters and I was shocked when I learned that it was made by Vekoma. Based on TPR's reviews, I am not looking forward to riding my first SLC or Boomerang.
  7. Five minutes ago. Last time you saw a chick flick?
  8. According to Hershey[ark's FB, Clifford the Big Red Crane has brought Skyrush up to 90 feet! The support colors are..interesting..I'll have to see the finished product before I decide if I absolutely love it or not.
  9. The best place that I've been to? Blue Ridge Mountains, hands down. Spending a year in Italy might change my answer though
  10. ^ I was taught to have the facts in my head rather than reading them off the board. So while they can see the 'flashy stuff' I'll be giving them more in depth information. Thanks everyone, I made the changes ('the game' is just an immature thing that has spread through my unfortunate generation) and should be ready to present!
  11. ^I didn't mean to sound ungrateful for the amazing updates, I was just more caught by the artsy shots (which isn't a bad thing at all) since I'm a sucker for sunsets. Anyone think they might manage to finish the lift supports by Christmas? And maybe not the lift track, but I personally do see them finishing the drop soon!
  12. I'm really loving those artsy shots of the track and the grass! ...But I guess I should also be excited about the track construction?
  13. Aquatrax. Anyone know if the site is getting close to vertical construction? Can't wait to see that red B&M track 100 feet in the air!
  14. Yes, it's yellow. Thanks for the updates! This could be great construction week for Skyrush fans!
  15. Busch Gardens Tampa: -Hire new ride-ops that can properly load/unload the coasters. That is all.
  16. When I think of high-speed boat racing, I think of sharp turns, which brings this element to mind: Anyone think this could be a possibility? Discuss!
  17. New pictures from CW's Facebook! The little hill looks like it could give some mad airtime! semi-old picture, but it looks cool. the drop looks amazing from this angle, so does the barrel roll.
  18. Oh, er, that's embarrassing. Changing that now, thanks!
  19. I love how I couldn't even see the building until I read the captions. I'm glad BGW is trying to disguise the coaster into the forest like this, it looks incredible!
  20. TPR is on the Santa Claw Recap video on the website! Only for a split second at 1:25 if some of you want to go see it. It's a quick look at someone's "trip report" of the exhibit.
  21. For my Career Research class, we were assigned to teach the class about the career that we plan on doing when we are older, and I hope to be working as a civil engineer (for B&M specifically)! I would really appreciate it if some of you would go and check it out and give me some advice on how to make it better. And I know it doesn't have many facts on it, I have note cards for that (I was taught to make the visual non-detailed and have the facts on hand), it's basically just a visual for while I say stuff. Thanks to anyone who takes the time to check it out! Here it is: http://prezi.com/1k0u8stucbt4/civil-engineer/ If you can't get to it, tell me and I'll see if I can figure out how to fix it.
  22. Thanks for the great update! I'll definitely miss the penguin encounter and the wonderful (sarcasm intended) smell of the exhibit. It was always a great thing to do with the family between my ridings of Manta and Kraken. Hopefully Antarctica doesn't disappoint, which I'm sure it won't since it is Seaworld after all!
  23. The line just reopened a few minutes ago, I got in and only have a 6 hour wait. Hopefully I'll get to finally play this time
  24. Looks like Hershey is giving us an early Christmas present this year!! I wonder if they'll have the lift hill/drop built before the new year.
