  1. I'm really interested in this water park expansion. All of these rides could be successfully since most of them are new concepts that Florida has never seen. Splash Battle and Bowlseye... Fun Spot may have a winner on their hands!
  2. You do realize that B&M paints the track whatever color the park asks them to, right? and sometimes the ride manufacturer isn't even the one that paints it, for many projects the park will have it painted, or even paint it on site. The ride manufacturer has very little to do with what color a ride ends up being. Yeah, I guess I should've worded it better, not strictly just calling B&M in general. *I'm glad that this B&M coaster will have two-toned track!
  3. I'd guess that this will follow the "Holy crap that was built fast!" tradition that the other three Wing-riders have set. But then again, this is Six Flags so you never know... Great pictures by the way, loving the sexy B&M track
  4. ^By his extensive use of smilies I'm pretty sure he was joking
  5. Well looks like Takabisha had a short-lived world record. Kinda reminds me of SFMM's Goliath.
  6. ^Same. I almost died mentally after riding a 100 foot drop tower at my county fair, yet I can ride any coaster put in front of me.
  7. El Toro, back car. Before that, I never knew how intense airtime could be. I also liked the moments of Airtime on Cheetah Hunt, it's very surprising how much of it that coaster truly has. I think it's underrated.
  8. But the beam is coming out of the thick track, so it should technically stay that same color. It would look really awkward with it being the color of the actual supports.
  9. Sorry, Robb. It's just something that personally irritates me, I guess I just overreacted. It wont happen again, I promise! So can we actually confirm that fun spot will be getting a Big FUn, or are we just speculating? Hopefully that park itself will announce exactly what we can look forward to within the next few months.
  10. First, welcome to TPR! This site is a lot of fun and the people here are extremely nice if you treat them with respect. With that said, please don't call something "retarded" because that is very offensive to some people, including me. I think if you had just used a better adjective such as "odd", "weird", or "stupid," this could have been a great first post! So please try to refrain from using that word and you should quickly get settled into the forums.
  11. If anyone's curious, I painted a picture that shows where construction is currently on the barrel roll. The red is track that has already been placed.
  12. All coasters having OTSRs, and feel like Gwazi. What's worse than B&M's AND Intamins going extinct?
  13. Seeing as the approx. ride time is 3:28, and the POV from top of lift hill to brakes is only 1:12 (though simulations aren't perfect), I'd say there's a good chance it'll be a slow lifthill. That time includes dispatch/loading time, which could take a 1:30. I think the lift should be around a minute long since the newer B&M hypers go up their steep lifts fairly fast.
  14. ^ You mean this? I think it's only used for when the track is going over a public section like a midway, other ride, or public road. Take Goliath (below) for example. I'm pretty sure the sections of track that goes over the road has this fence maybe for safety? Just in case someone drops an item, the fence is used to possibly catch the loose items instead of them dropping onto a person below, but I may be wrong. It could just be B&Ms way of establishing that the ride is over something of importance.
  15. ^Maybe some BGW workers are in denial that they're not getting another B&M.
  16. ^The chances are pretty high since apparently California has yet to learn the concept of airtime.. Cheetah Hunt's first launch is amazing. It catches everyone off guard and sparks some fear into the people about to ride it. I'm sure Manta won't disappoint.
  17. FINALLY! I have always loved two-toned B&M track, especially when the colors compliment each other as well as coasters like Nitro, Mantis, and Goliath do. I'm glad B&M is getting back to that with Shambhala, this looks great!
  18. Verbolten's pre-launch section reminds me of my before-the-lift portion I put on roller coasters in RCT3. That is NOT a negative comment. I really love how Verbolten looks right now. The beginning should be very calm and suspenseful.
  19. Seems like Verbolten has a lot done already! From that one picture you can see another turn in the distance. Love the color scheme too! I think it'll definitely help disguise it in the forest a bit.
  20. Take SheiKra for example. Once at the top, you can basically see EVERYTHING (Downtown Tampa, the ghetto houses) It slowly turns around and you get the greatest view of the park and that's when everyone gets scared because they realize how high they are. Then when it slowly pulls them down, everyone on the train is all 'OH MY GOD, OOOOOOOH MY GOD, OOOOOOOOOOOOOHHH MY GOD!!" and then it drops. Everyone screams. The closest I've been to an Intamin cable lift is El Toro, and its lift makes me piss myself from how fast it goes and how it gave me absolutely no time to panic. I think Intamin and B&M have opposite ways of bringing fear to its riders. Regardless, they both work. I REALLY don't think we should be comparing MF/305 to Leviathan just because of their similar heights. The B&M God will have a completely different experience than the Intamin gods. I love B&M's slow lift-hills because it gives everyone time to take in the view and the fear. I'm sure Leviathan won't ruin that tradition. This ride looks extremely promising.
  21. Inverted wooden aquatrax with inversions, come on Six Flags, this shouldn't be THAT hard to build!
