  1. ^ Will be? It's October. And really, A Cedar Point versus SFGAm fight? Good grief.
  2. Agreed. And I'm beginning to doubt the story of "this park is already completed I can't change anything."
  3. Then please follow it. It's there for a reason. If you REALLY want to update your thread, you can always edit your post.
  4. ^ Same. They really amped up Shiner to be awesome when it came to IL, but I haven't found it very good. Had a New Glarus Apple Ale the other day from 2011. Last weekend, Tighthead Maibock, Tighthead Oktoberfest. And a Sam Adam's Oktoberfest to round out the evening.
  5. ^ Please read the posting rules here, first.
  6. I'd say it's close resemblance to CD5's park just made it kind of unforgettable. IMO.
  7. What couldn't have been? See what I did there?
  8. Whatever culture and history I learned at the beginning, I forgot by the end. Job well done, Chuck.
  9. Is it one big piece? How do you transport it?
  10. ^ Keep an eye on that one. Could be a proxy. I say the hell with RCT3 contests. No one does them.
  11. Good start. Glad to see you're already using the support CS. It's the best way to make a park look "right" than the default RCT3 supports. I almost always terraform before I start building anything major. RCT3 is much to unforgiving to your perfectly laid pieces to go back and start raising and lowering land. In a lot of cases, I'll build one section, but know how I want the land forms to look for the next section, that way I can work on completing one section, then terraform the next section. Basically, the more you dig in and try stuff out the better you'll get. And always save at the last point where you feel the park is where you like the most before making any significant changes!
  12. I always thought the Pirate theme was one of the best in RCT2. Nice work.
  13. If you're not going much farther west than Chicago, then Mt. Olympus is probably out. If you do want to go up into Wisconsin, but not as far, you can hit Little-A-Merrick-A. It's just outside of Milwaukee.
  14. Ugh. Every year the anniversary rolls around, I feel old....
  15. Guys, he said numerous times that this park is done, and he's working off what he did as he went through. He can't change much of it now. That being said, and I've said this a THOUSAND times, these are all games. Each of us play them for our own enjoyment. Some just make silly parks without much effort, others strive to create hyper realistic parks. It is what is is. You can offer constructive criticism, but that doesn't mean it'll be taken. The creator may be very happy with what he's got. I do thank all of you for being considerate and polite in all of your remarks. In the past, this would have turned ugly.
  16. Perhaps some big brooding columns to support the roof? I like the woodie.
  17. Yep. Does he even post anymore? RD, you can't please everyone all the time. That's especially true with kids on the Game Forum. You have to develop thick skin. It took me a couple of years, now I don't care what they say.
  18. Great work Almere. Can't wait to see new updates. Your photoshop work makes even NCS work look great.
  19. Hey everyone, we've started Preview threads for each game, instead of one big Preview Thread. That way you can all see projects by game, rather than a mishmash. So post away in the: NL Preview Thread RCT/RCT2 Preview Thread RCT3 Preview Thread Same rules as this thread apply to the new ones. Anything that you've started but don't have enough to show for a "Work Thread" can be posted here. Enjoy!
  20. We've broken out the old Preview Thread by game. Post all your RCT3 projects here! If you have a teaser for an upcoming project, or just want to share your work-in-progress, please share with us!
  21. We've broken out the preview thread to help get you more exposure on your projects per each game. Post your projects here!
  22. To better get your No Limits and NoLimits 2 projects exposure, rather than starting a work thread, post them here! It's the old Preview Thread for No Limits!
  23. We've locked some threads recently a little too quickly. There's always going to be one assclown or another that thinks he's above the rules, and will post away regardless of the rules. Those are the ones that be lock, ban, warn, etc. and quite honestly, I don't want around anyway. They can go to SGW, and NewElement, for all I care. AJ, I like that idea and will start it now.
  24. ^ I Would say yes. Always go with the KISS principle in CPM's Contests.
  25. Early November is typically a good time to go. Crowds are not too bad. It's my preferred time to go.
