Has anyone seen anything in terms of construction photos for Hurricane Harbor? There is no mention of anything on the Facebook page.

I think you're right. I would think I would remember seeing another curved chain lift because they don't come up often.

Vekoma has been getting better over the years, but they are still pretty bad. It seems like they are unable to identify the problems causing their rides to be uncomfortable and rough and for that reason, I don't like Vekoma.

Well, we basically have 11 more months before we find out for sure.

I think YOLOcoaster was nice, as was Outlaw Run. Otherwise, 2013 was fairly dry in terms of new additions. I didn't see a lot of stuff, quite like I saw between 2011 and 2012 that was fun and exciting. This coming season seems like a bust as well. There just isn't that much that's new that we're going to be seeing. I am excited for the 2015 season, though. All ready there are a few things that have been announced, and a few parks are on a two or three year expansion plan, with 2015 right in the middle of it!

SFOG is in a pretty bad neighborhood. I also know that traffic was really bad getting into Carowinds sometimes.

I have a picture of the Cobra in my room from when it first opened and it looks pretty good. Mostly because the paint isn't faded and is all glossy. As it should be.

^ From the perspective of the park, it's still not that important. Just as long as they can say we have the tallest, longest and fastest coaster in the southeast, they will be good to go.
