  1. I noticed that too, the break run looked super long.
  2. I also found that kind of interesting. I guess it's going to be a pretty fast ride, or the lift is long.
  3. ^ Ok, thanks. I've never heard it called that.
  4. It almost seems like they're hiding it. I'm still checking around, though.
  5. I may sound stupid asking this, but I'm going to anyways, what is the "carousel" element they talked about at the end of the ride description?
  6. I really liked in the promotional video how they had S.O.B. crumble like that.
  7. For those of you that bet on a very expensive invert named "Banshee," please see the cashier.
  8. I tought there were real hardcore enthusiasts on this site...
  9. ^ Looks like it was a good thing that I brought it up.
  10. One of the moderators will post it up. All right, just wondering.
  11. Do we have a designated user to post the news of the announcement here? It seems like it would be pretty chaotic with a whole lot of us watching.
  12. Assuming you were including the impulse coasters, it would have to be over 215 feet, have at least 5 inversions, and be faster than 70 mph. Montu has 7 inversions, so if this is the most inverting inverted coaster, it needs to have 8 or more inversions. Most Inverting LAUNCHED coaster. I was replying to Woodie Warriors post. I really hope it's launched. That would also make sense considering the comment B&M made about fulfilling the requests of a park even if that means a launched coaster. A launched B&M would be terrific even if the rest of the ride is just another mediocre B&M invert.
  13. Looking through these pictures, everything looks so nice there, especially some of the shots of Maverick and Gatekeeper.
  14. I was having this discussion on another thread but I also wanted to ask here: is Tatsu's dual station considered one or two blocks?
  15. Should we have a vote? What kind of coaster everyone thinks it's going to be?
  16. Why do they decide to run with or without the trims sometimes? I've noticed the same thing on Intimidator at Carowinds.
  17. Sure, not very intense, but it was still AMAZING. It's pretty fast to begin with, but then once you pass the camera it gets even faster and it just keep coming and coming and coming...
  18. Wow how much money do you have to open a theme park? I would say that there is a combination of things that justify buying a season pass. Is the park close enough to home that is worth the ride to go on the rides they have? Let me explain this; if the park is 10 minutes away and only has small coasters and kid stuff, I might go with my sister a few times a year, we may buy a season pass. But if the park has only the small coasters and kid stuff and is an hour away, we may only go once a year, if that; definitely not worth a season pass. If the park is an hour away, but it's a Six Flags with big coasters and tons of rides, It's certainly worth a season pass. Carowinds is 4 hours away from me, and I have a season pass there. We only go to Carowinds a few times a year, but just enough to have a season pass there. I may also look at the kinds of benefits that come with the season pass, free parking at Carowinds is a huge plus. With that being said, I don't think you can look at just rides alone.
  19. ^ Skull Mountian really shows the difference between a Six Flags quality dark ride and the kind of quality of a dark ride at other park chains.
