Yeah these ScreamScape posts are feeling like rumors for new rides.

I agree with that, they are really nice, but I feel like its going to take longer because those restrains are harder to close, so dispatch times may be longer.

I generally don't like high and/or sustained G's because I don't want to black or grey out. I do like the high and unusual combination of G's on those Schwarzkophf perfect circle loops like on Mindbender.

See the thing is, that if they remove the Southern Star, it almost seems certain that they're going to expand the water park. If you look on a map, the Southern Star is so close to the water park it's like you can jump off the railing in the park and end up on the stage.

That X-Flight still looks really nice.

No I think B&M may enter the launched market. B&M has to stay competitive in the market, especially these days. I also remember a comment they made, something like "yes, we will do a launch coaster. We will do that the client orders."

I'm kind of steering the conversation away from the possible expansion rumors, but I was wondering what this is in the Batman station. It's on both sides of the track just before the station.

^ I'm really hoping for a new coaster, too. But it looks like its going to be some kind of water park expansion. Maybe we'll get a new coaster where Ninja is; that's been my hope for a while now. They have a lot of extra space over the water for a coaster if they want it, especially if they take out Ninja.

^ From what I'm seeing with the barrel roll and some of the other elements, things look pretty spaced out, compared to the compact and therefore forceful elements of other inverts. The barrel roll looks like it's going to have an X Flight type of feel to it.

No way, Vortex has become at institution. Carowinds is in direct competition with SFOG, which has 4 B&Ms. If Carowinds takes out one of their B&M coasters, then they have HALF as many as SFOG. Plus it's from when B&M as a company was just a baby.

Well, I guess a trip to KI is in order...

I really like the slower and longer heart line roll. On every other B&M invert I've been on, barrel rolls of any variety have usually been too quick, too forceful, and not that much fun.

^ Are they putting a lot of money into themeing, landscaping, ect in addition to the SOB demolition cost?

Cedar Fair is saving a coaster with 8 inversions for another one of their properties.

Hey did you guys hear about Carowinds having to close Vortex over some problem with one of the supports? It's opened again now, but does anyone have any other details?

If they have a media day event where they invite us, like the Gatekeeper event, and I get the cash together in time, I'm definitely going.
