Yeah those were nice, but a lot of the lights were blowing out and that made it look crappy on top of the really old look that the lights had. It was just time to get rid of them, but I liked them.

Goudurix doesn't seem that bad; is it just really rough. The layout looks like it has potential.

I'd rather it get moved to the Scrap Yard. I would rather see it gone also. Where are they going to have room for it near Nighthawk since Nighthawk is already crammed into the middle of the park.

Storm Runner and Xcelerator have some advantages over Kingda Ka and TTD because they have a launch and an actual course. But Kingda Ka and TTD have advantages over the other two because of the height and speed. You really can't compare the two because each type brings difference experiences to the table.

I can certainly see where you're coming from, but I personally don't care weather or not the track is flat or with a spine.

I think the cam they have built into the game is just fine. The lag you just have to deal with for a little while while it's recording, but the finished video comes out perfect!

From a POV, you can see what you're going to experience, but the point of a roller coaster is to actually feel the forces, and you can't get that from a video.

It looks like they were in the middle of quite a few things between the Goliath construction and the other general maintenance they have to do now to get ready for the spring.

^ Well, some do have more airtime than others. Goliath at SFOG has a TON more airtime and only one trim. As apposed to Intimidator at Carowinds, which has three trims and a little light on airtime.

We need a good B&M sitting coaster at SFOG.

No, how is that possible? They're mostly wood with steel wheels.

Something interesting that I noticed was that there are no pre-ride elements on any of the coasters at SFOG. All have a short straight section or a 90 degree turn and it goes right into the lift. I really like the pre-lift elements!

Wow that's right. I never really thought about that. I guess all they need to do is set up the poles every 50 feet or so and that's it. That's easy.
