(Music) Nick Pitera / fake or real? You decide...
Bucket replied to Hattuchili's topic in Random, Random, Random
Heh.........? He has an incredible voice!! The vibrato for his voice is amazing... especially in falsetto. Never seen or heard anything quite like it. Why doesn't he have a record deal again...? -
That picture of Furius Baco's station is beautiful! If I didn't already know, I would have no idea that that stationed a coaster. It looks so much like a winery!

What is your favorite genre of music?
Bucket replied to SonOfBeastSucks's topic in Random, Random, Random
Love it all. Rock, Rap, Techno, Acoustics, Jazz, Classical, Bubblegum Pop, J-Pop... etc. My favorite stuff to listen to would have to be Indie/Alternative music: z.B. The Shins, Death Cab For Cutie, Coldplay, Iron & Wine. When I party or go to a club, I love House-Techno music like Fedde Le Grand or other European DJ's. -
My Exams are not until Feb. so I do not know what my official grades are. We do not have letter grades in Germany, but rather numbers for our marks. 1 is the best and 5 is the worst. Englische Sprachkurs (mit Hospitanten): 1 Translation - English Language Course with British students who help us Germans with our English. As my major is English, I really enjoy my Language class even though I have it every day. Interkulturelle Kommunikation: 1 Translation - Communication differences between American and German cultures. Literatur II: 2 Translation - my literature class. We discuss English literature (for example Shakespeare) and analyze the meaning. It really is difficult because Old English is probably difficult for English speaking people! Landeskunde: 1 Translation - Applied Geography in the United States Neuropsychologie: 2 or 3 Translation - Nero Psychology. Perhaps my most difficult class. Interesting but extremely challenging. I really have to learn all the time to do well in this class.

Sicko... The new documentary by Michael Moore. Wonderful film, but I have to say... I am so thankful I live in Germany and I am not insured by an American Health company!

Walt Disney Studio's Tower Of Terror preview!
Bucket replied to Simba's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Very nice pictures! Although TOT Paris is virtually an exact clone of the DCA TOT, I think the architecture of the tower suits the rest of the park very nicely. It would look weird if we had another TDS tower in this park because it would look completely out of place. The theming inside seems a bit cartoonish though compared to Florida's version or TDS's version. Is the California version also like this? I haven't been to this park in ages and my last visit wasn't exactly fun due to the lack of attractions. Nevertheless, with the addition of Toon Studios and Tower of Terror, this park might actually be worth visiting now! -

Happy Tree Friends.com It's awful, I know. But so funny!

Japan! The Japanese are so easily impressed but it's always so cute and interesting to watch their reactions in any park!

Wow, Tokyo DisneySea's tower truly is the most beautiful! I can't wait to ride it this summer yay! Oh, and how did you guys know how the Idol trick was done? Was the room not dark enough and just gave it away? I can't wait to see it in person... what a great trick! -
Worst Coaster Experience

Limit at Heide Park. I always heard dreadful things about Vekoma SLC's but now I know why! Loads of head-banging and absolutely no fun at all! -

WTF! 80 degrees in December? No wonder everyone wants to move to California! -
It might be a good coaster if it was heavily themed. I think the concept is good and it looks like a fun ride but perhaps the execution was the problem...?

Great pictures! That water coaster at Gardaland looks great! I wonder why I've never heard a lot about it! How is the ride itself? ...and how did you like Hotel Colloseo at Europa Park? I stayed there last summer when I went to Europa Park with my friends. Wonderful hotel, and not too expensive either! -

It is about 34 degrees Fahrenheit where I live in Germany. However, it's always windy or rainy so it feels colder! -
What is your favorite Roller Coaster?
Bucket replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I haven't been on too many roller coasters but Black Mamba is definitely my favorite! Black Mamba at Phantasialand... an AMAZING roller coaster! Photo from Coasters & More -
Apocalyptica in Stuttgart on Halloween. Not the biggest metal fan (actually, I don't listen to metal at all) but they are my friends favorite band so I went and it was surprisingly good!

^Fuji-Q definitely cannot compare to many other Japanese theme parks, but (I know I'm in the minority here) the roller coasters there are really fun for me, which is usually my only incentive to visit. Especially Dodonpa as it was my first air launch coaster. I would recommend Fuji-Q as I have always had fun there but it is always interesting to read a second opinion of the place. At least now I know what to expect if I go to Fuji-Q and have the absolute worst day of my life! -

I went to Fuji-Q about two years ago and had the same luck! It may have had to do with the fact that I went on a Tuesday during the off season so the crowds were not too bad. What day did you guys go? I also really liked Dodonpa as well! Some people dislike the fact that the launch is so intense, but I thought that was what made it awesome! I've never felt so much power on a coaster before! -
I really don't watch the telly at all but my sister buys the DVD box sets for some shows so I sometimes get sucked into those because there are no commercials, and you never have to wait to see what happens next! I'm sure there are probably better shows, but from what she bought, I am really into: Nip/Tuck, Friends, and Family Guy. However, out of the three... I would say Nip/Tuck is my favorite, hands down. Any Nip/Tuck fans here?

London I absolutely LOVE that city. The people there are so friendly and the nightlife is incredible! Some of my best and craziest nights have been spent Piccadilly Circus! -
Bad Color Schemes and/or Just Ugly Coasters
Bucket replied to MattJackson's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Silver Bullet at Knott's Berry Farm http://www.rcdb.com/ig2536.htm?picture=38 Two color schemes on one ride? Eh.......... I'm also not a big fan of white colored coasters either. They look pretty at first, but as soon as the paint starts to fade, it just looks dirty.
