  1. ^^Oh, I am really sorry about that :/ But this really IS the Emo page! I guess I'm one of the few who isn't having problems in my relationship...! [knock on wood]
  2. Ignoring a problem does not mean the problem will go away. But perhaps you are right in this extreme case. Obviously this lady and her followers are psychotic idiots and nothing in the world could ever change their viewpoints. Still, it's tragic to see and hear.
  3. 27 hours. That's what jet-lag can do to you!
  4. Sorry to bring back an old topic but... I just recently read about a woman named Shirley Phelps Roper and her terrible statements regarding Ledger's death. Phelps is a member of Westboro Baptist Church, a controversial group known for its vocal anti-homosexual, anti-American, anti-semetic, and racist activism. (Google GodHatesFags.com, GodHatesAmerica.com to get an idea of what she and her church believes.) To quote her... Phelps-Roper: "He [God] executed vengeance on Heath Ledger. Heath Ledger was a rebel against his God and he had no cause.” Interviewer: “Wasn’t Heath Ledger just an actor portraying another person’s life, just like any other actor?” Phelps-Roper: “Look, he should have gone HUNGRY before he took a role like that. Heath Ledger is IN Hell! Make no mistake about this! Heath Ledger is in hell where the worms that eat on you never die, where the fire is never quenched, and where his torment will last forever and ever.” Check out the rest of the interview here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uEvFmBkfDKw How unbelievable sad. How can you say such things about the dead?
  5. Almost all parks in Europe have various park guides in different languages, as someone said earlier. Every theme park that I've visited in Europe, the employees speak English (even at Disneyland Paris!) so I think you should be okay.
  6. My mom and dad bought me an iPhone for getting accepted into an internship in Africa this summer. Looks cool, but its a bit hard to use. Anyone else have this problem?
  7. ATB... absolutely amazing live. Gonna see him again when I fly to Los Angeles in a week at a rave called "How Sweet It Is." I can't wait!
  8. I challenge that. My brother's good friend has been with his girlfriend for 21 months so far, and they started dating at 14. I don't think you guys understand that being with someone for an extended period of time does not equal love. Nor does being a certain age. Young and old, people fall in love. I first fell in love when I was 15. Had three more serious relationships after that and none even came close to what I felt the first time around. Sure, 14 is a little young to fall 'in love,' but it's not impossible.
  9. Oh come on! Im sick of people bashing my two favortie bands! I think there are far worse off bands the Patd and FOB Totally agree! It seems that when a band gets "popularized", many people just seem to automatically dislike them. I remember when I first heard Panic! At The Disco 3 years ago and I thought they were really good. Not a fan anymore because I don't like that genre of music anymore (more into electronica/indie/alternative now) but I wouldn't automatically detest a group simply because they've become famous. I mean, when Fall Out Boy and P!ATD weren't really known, everyone who DID know them loved them. Funny how that works.
  10. As I live so close to Holiday Park, maybe I could meet up with the group on the day you visit that park! ERT on Expedition GeForce =
  11. Babel 6/10 - Overrated and a little boring at times. I did like the deaf Japanese girl's story though and the way the director made the film completely silent so that we could relate to her.
  12. I just stumbled across this topic recently (yes, I am slow!) but wow, I can't believe that Diablo Cody, a member of this site, wrote this film! What a pleasant surprise! I just watched it with some friends for the first time and I loved it. I especially loved Michael Cera's character Bleeker because he reminds me of me sometimes haha. I had no idea what the film was about but I thought it was funny, engaging, and had a marvelous soundtrack. Congratulations for the Oscar nomination!
  13. Does anyone know when the tunnels will begin to be built?
  14. In Germany, we have a band called Tokio Hotel who are very popular. It's annoying because I can't open a magazine without seeing a picture of them! I can't stand their music, their style, or their cocky attitudes! GAH! Truly embarrassing.
  15. Currently into Indie/Electronic/Alternative music... Tegan & Sara The Whitest Boy Alive Zero 7 Air Beck Fischerspooner Vampire Weekend Stars Kings Of Convenience The Album Leaf Spoon Eels Rilo Kiley Thievery Corporation ...to name a few favorites.
  16. Wow! This new plan looks amazing. But how much is this going to all cost? 4 GREAT theme parks (hopefully!) At least a billion or two...?
  17. Not listed in the site (though it should!)... Grape Drank! Anyone watch Chapelle??
  18. ^Mine does too! But he's such a trooper, he always goes with me to theme parks. The last coaster we road together was the Colossus at Heide-Park and we had to leave the park early, because he felt too sick!
  19. I also LOVED this movie! Is it from the same people who did Shaun of the Dead? The humor was really similar!
  20. Superbad 1/10 This movie was supposed to be funny? I guess if you want to watch a movie with no plot, obnoxious characters, and childish humor, this movie is for you. I just don't see what all the hype is about.

  22. A sequel...? Let it be! Even though I loved Cloverfield, I think one movie is really enough!
  23. In an open relationship. Love the fact that I'm exclusive but at the same time not tied down. It doesn't work for some couples, but for us, it works great.
  24. Not sure if this has been posted already but concept art of the new tunnels on X2 can be found on the official LA Times website. The new tunnels are being described as "breathable canvas tarp designed to withstand sun, rain and wind, the spider web-like canopies with lighted beacon tips are evocative of the iconic Denver International Airport terminal." Looks rather cool I think! Very modern and suiting with the new X2 trains. I just hope the tunnel isn't white like the concept art shows.... anyways, I was hesitant at first about this new $10 million dollar makeover but it looks like the money might actually be put to good use!
  25. My question is... why build a hotel so big, if no one is going to be staying there? I mean, what is the actual tourism rate in North Korea??
