  1. Love it or hate it, you can't deny the coolness of the iPhone. Buy this for me please?
  2. Pulling Our Weight - The Radio Dept. The Radio Dept. is an indie band from the Netherlands (I think?) and I first heard their music in the soundtrack to the film Marie Antoinette. Great band! For those indie lovers out there, definitely give them a listen.
  3. Yeah, shaky camera also does not equal scary. I never got this movie, or why people like it. Have you seen the sequel? It's a totally different movie and it's actually quite (psychologically) scary!
  4. From the pictures, the prototype seems extremely rough and uncomfortable (due to the sharp turns and sudden maneuver changes; it reminds me of some Togo's I've ridden in Japan) which might be a reason why no models of this coaster were ever built.
  5. "What the hell are you doing?!" "Not much really. Just me and my pubes... hannnnnnngin' out." - Stewie Griffin
  6. ...just a few more random pictures. Lexi! London Eye Random musician in London
  7. Before my visit to Alton Towers last summer, I was told that AIR was a very boring and tame roller coaster. As I have never ridden a flying coaster before and as AIR wasn't as intense compared to Nemesis, I thought it was quite the experience and loads of FUN! They should build more flying B&M coasters here in Europe!
  8. Burberry scarf, grey sweater and jeans... nothing special I guess!
  9. Here is my desktop... Very random... but cute I think!
  10. We sure have some wonderful photographers on this message board! Here are a few pictures that I've taken this year and during the summer... tell me what you think This ride was at the Oktoberfest this year... it is so scary but fun! a castle near Freundestadt The library ceiling at my university. London London At the concentration camp Dachau in Munich This is a street on the little island near Venice called Burano. A piece of paper that was handed out during CSD (the gay parade held in Munich). It translates to "Love is everything." Sunset near Rust (where Europa Park is) Olympia Loop at the Oktoberfest... a GREAT roller coaster! My best friend MARkooooosh One of my favorite roller coasters... Silver Star Walking home after a long night Taking a road-trip to Amsterdam this summer. My friend Lilly in Venice.
  11. I also saw that film. Absolute rubbish. It seems like all these "spoof" movies are just AWFUL and not funny at all! I heard they are spoofing the superheroes next in a film called "Superhero!"
  12. Messy... and pretty bad.
  13. Um. This new law is blatantly racist. Other religions are allowed to express their belief the way they want but Muslims are not? I am not going to lie and say that there are no problems between Turkish people/Muslims and Germans but this new law is taking it a little far. Can you please explain yourself a little better?
  14. ^Glad you see it that way! After reading my last couple of posts, I wondered... "Why am I defending smoking?" I am actually trying to quit. You and most non-smokers here on this board are absolutely right, it is a horrible habit and it is so unhealthy. I started for a really stupid reason... peer pressure. When my friends and I turned 16, we started smoking because it was legal. At the time, we were still very young and naive and thought it was cool. However, now that I look back on it, I realize how stupid we all were. I think it's really good how smoking is looked down on so negatively in the States and it must be easier to quit as there are so many places where smoking is not allowed. It's much harder to quit here as everyone (okay, not everyone! But a lot of people!) smoke!
  15. A new law has been passed in Bavaria (a state in Southern Germany) banning headscarf's among Muslim woman. I think this is absolutely absurd and might even be a little racist. Why are Jewish people and Catholics still allowed to represent their religion but Muslims are not? What are your views on this issue?
  16. You like raving? That is so cool because I hardly know anyone who is into that scene. You definitely need to plan a trip to Ibiza. The Ibiza party last year was AMAZING. I went to Love Parade in Essen, Germany this year (not as good as Berlin) but it was still so much fun... Tiesto was there, as well as Fedde Le Grand and Blue Man Group! I heard the raves in San Francisco and in Los Angeles are great as well which is where I am planning to go next!
  17. I don't know if being the 'token' gay guy is ever a good thing
  18. It annoys me when people automatically associate smokers as being extremely rude or insensitive towards others. Whenever I have a smoke, I always make sure that I do not blow it in others faces because of the exact reason that you stated. And I'm sure most smokers don't purposely blow smoke in non-smokers faces. Some people are allergic to it and I respect that so I only smoke with my friends who smoke with me. This is why they have designated smoking areas. But to ban it entirely in public places? That is quite the exaggeration. Where would we be able to do it then?
  19. sooooooooooooooocuuuuuuutee! WTF is this??
  20. How typical for Chimelong paradise lol I couldn't stop laughing when I saw the website. ...but keep in mind, when translated in any Asian language, it actually sounds much cooler than the English translation!
  21. Europe: Belgium France Luxembourg Switzerland Netherlands Italy Austria England Germany (But I live here!) Czech Republic Poland Denmark Asia: Japan Thailand China Taiwan Other: Australia South Africa
  22. Cool trains! ...but as previously mentioned, the layout is disappointing. Why couldn't they have thrown in a helix or something in there? Maybe it's the amount of space that they are working with so perhaps this layout will suit it better for the park but still... Anyways, as a 'family-oriented' coaster, it looks good and I'm sure it will appeal to the general public very much.
  23. Hopefully, a translator. Right now, I can speak 3 languages fluently (English, German and Japanese) but I hope to learn French as well!
  24. Saw 5 and 6 have been confirmed. BOO! I haven't seen the 4th film as it hasn't been released in Europe but I am sure these three sequels are not necessary! The Saw franchise ended after the third movie for me. I hate when Hollywood does this! Think of something original and not just make a sequel to a film that really doesn't need a sequel!
