Rocky Mountain Construction 2017?
Mrlittle replied to kickflipbacktail's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
So the IAAPA Euro show is about to take place. I could see potential RMC announcements there. Also, IAAPA here could still have a RMC announcement. I know November is late but you can get a lot of media coverage on it. -
So I think the new water coaster is going to be a great fit for the waterpark. Even though I don't typically go to the waterpark, I've seen how busy it gets. I'll definitely go next year to try it. But I was also excited about this announcement - "Six Flags Fiesta Texas has named marketing director Jeffrey Siebert as its new park president and announced a new attraction for 2017, the company said Thursday." If you know Jeffrey Siebert, you know it's well deserved. Fiesta Texas announces new water ride, names new park president

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think the Hershey Tower rotates. It just has circular seating. Unless I missed it in the press release... 189 ft Combo Tower with 20 rotating seats -

I'm a huge fan of S&S drop towers. I know obviously each one is taller but I wish they had more differences like different seats and what not. I would of loved to see S&S take on the tilting seats like Falcons Fury. Still it's three new thrill rides that should be a lot of fun. -

I don't have any problem with the game. I think it's great they finally made a fun game where you walk to play. I like how many local business and even the zoo near me are running specials for the game. There have been stories of dumb people doing dumb things while playing the game. But that's just because their dumb. -

I was at the park for two days (last Sunday and Monday) which I planned months ago. Despite no rides on LR, still had a fun time and cinnamon bread goes a long way. I didn't see anyone working on the ride and sounded like no employee knew when it will open. I found it odd that no one was working on it. Almost as if they are waiting on a part. -

Looks awesome and you can never go wrong with more awesome drop rides. -
Probably your best bet would be to check out Sega Joypolis. At least I remember riding a bobsled video game that spin you 360 degrees. Plus, Joypolis is full of out dated video game stuff. I know it's not exactly what your asking about but close enough. tokyo-joypolis.com/language/english/attraction.html

They added new paint, new lights and updated the store. Plus they finally fixed the wood that I personally tripped on before. They really made the area look great and now all the rides work. They even made changes to Scooby Doo. I really think they cleaned up the area for future rides and attractions to be added. I don't see how this is not a gain.

The season pass is cheaper online. Six Flags now process season passes at the entrance the first time you go. They no longer take photos, just scan your finger. So its a quick process but I still recommend getting there early. I actually have no idea what the season pass processing centers are for now. I went the weekend before the rides were open to the public. I'm sure someone has some photos now with the rides open. The Boardwalk area looks great and is ready for a new coaster in 2017. (wishful thinking) Room behind this ride for a coaster. Just saying I like the roof over Spinsanity but the ride looks out of place to me. Took this through the fence Queue line for Spinsanity

The new additions look great. I kind of wish Big Hero 6 was the trackless ride but It still looks great.
