TPR Live! Live Streams Around Parks
Mrlittle replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I watched the playback on Facebook. At least I skimmed through it. Pretty cool to see lights on Space Mountain. I've liked these live streams lately as it's kind of a video podcast in a way. -
[youtu_be]https://youtu.be/NWagBjDMwTU[/youtu_be] AUG, 20 2017 GAMESCOM 2017: JURASSIC WORLD EVOLUTION ANNOUNCED The park-building sim is coming to Xbox One, PS4, and PC in summer 2018. Microsoft revealed Jurassic World Evolution today during its Gamescom 2017 briefing. ADVERTISEMENT Coming in summer 2018 to Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC, this park-building sim is being created by Frontier Developments, who has worked on the RollerCoaster Tycoon series as well as Elite: Dangerous. The reveal trailer points to gameplay that involves building a park, breeding some dinos, and probably dealing with some problems when said dinos get out of their pens. “As long-time fans of the entire Jurassic series we’re thrilled to be putting players in charge of their own Jurassic World,” said Frontier’s Chief Creative Officer, Jonny Watts. “We’re excited to bring over fifteen years of management, simulation, and creature development expertise to a destination and franchise that remains an inspiration to us.” Evolution will launch alongside Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, which hits theaters on June 22, 2018. m.ign.com/articles/2017/08/20/gamescom-2017-jurassic-world-evolution-announced?read How cool is this. I can't wait to accidentally let out my T-Rex

"Tiny Planet" - Like them or not?
Mrlittle replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Well I like it. I've always been a fan of the fish eye lens photos. i see it as another way to show off the coaster like the 360 povs. Honestly, I love to have the first or third photo as a poster. -
Speaking of operations, this is the same park that I was worried about their Batman S&S coaster. I know it's 8 more being loading at a time but they do pretty good with moving that line. I also read that the station for Wonder Woman will be a continuous loading station so maybe they will enforce a no loose articles policy to load the trains faster. Don't get me wrong on a busy summer day when it's 104 outside, I'm sure the line will be like 2+ hrs but at least it looks worth it.

Mrlittle replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I was glad to see TPR and friends got to ride Lightning Rod this year. I was one of the many who missed out on it last year during my visit but It's good to read the glowing reviews. I'll be back soon enough to ride and get my share of cinnamon bread. -

I finally got around to riding the new hotness. I thought the coaster was fun after riding it a few times. I found the lapbar to be really odd though. I would suggest trying out the test seat if your on the bigger side. I honestly felt like I could maneuver out of my seat because it's more of a knee bar. The park has always had the two big coasters since I can remember going but never a long line for either. Wave Breaker had a big line all day. I hope the park builds more rides like this as the park still lacks in attractions. One thing I loved seeing was how many families were riding together. I can't wait to go back and take my nieces. Also, I challenge someone to take the photo with all 3 coasters with 3 trains in the same shot. I tried to wait for it but it was to hot. -
I went by the park Friday and I was thinking it would be busy, since it's still summer. It was 104 but in that quarry wall, there is no breeze. I'm pretty sure I was sweating out water as I drank it. But, because of the hot weather the park was dead. Like my own ERT Also, I looked around Power Surge for any more 2018 clues. Nothing besides the number which has been posted.

Blast from the Past WDW Trip Report
Mrlittle replied to Mrlittle's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Actually, that show was the Diamond Horseshoe. The theater is still there but sadly the show is not. Hoop Dee Doo is still performed but that is at Pioneer Hall in the Fort Wilderness Campground area. Ahh, well there we go. I had seen some tweets responding to the TPR tweet with this TR link saying it was Hoop Dee Doo. I looked up Diamond Horseshoe and now wish they put some kind of show in there. Anyways, thanks all for the comments and glad to see people enjoyed the photos. -
Blast from the Past WDW Trip Report

So thanks to Twitter, the second photo was from Hoop Dee Doo Revue show. Except, I was cute back then. I wish I still had that curly hair. I bet if Disney could, they would store everything to reuse again. I kind of remember something like it when we went in the early 90's. -
So I had found this photos before and totally forgot about them. I was deleting photos on my laptop when I saw them again and thought I share them. Most of the photos are from Magic Kingdom with the exception of one from EPCOT. I mainly wanted to share them because its pretty awesome to see the park. I was only 2 years old so I asked my mother about each photo. I tried to clean up the photos some but they were taken around 29 years ago. Hope you enjoy this blast from the past! Lots of characters No idea what show this was. Edit: Hoop Dee Doo Revue PeopleMover! That's my Uncle and cousins. My brother was driving in this photo Check out that old WDW logo. Parade time Aunt, Uncle and cousins Juggling Rackets? Tom Sawyer area I think this is the fountain near Pirates Dumbo Speedway My brother is in the middle Looks like Frontier area More Dumbo That fashion style was amazing I feel like if I went to this spot today, it would look exactly the same Disney Princesses EPCOT (that's my Mother) Waiting for the Ferry (my father is wearing the teal shirt) This is Me and also the moment I realized I loved Disney!

Robb & Elissa's European Adventures 2017!

All of the food on this trip has looked amazing. I need to stop looking at your updates when I'm hungry. -

I heard of Wiener Prater from a podcast. It sounded like a city carnival. From your photos, it doesn't look to far off. It's weird how each ride is owned individually. That has to be expensive to ride a lot. Kristen POV is the best. The rest of your Adventure has looked awesome, especially the food. -

The Alvey's Go To NYC and Do Some Things...
Mrlittle replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Oh man I want to go back to NYC and just watch broadway shows for a week. As much as I love musicals, I have never seen a show at Broadway. Of course I've only been to NYC twice and both visits were short. I need to try the cookie dough place. Why did I look at this report while hungry? Funny you should mention that. Doing this trip actually made me REALLY want to do a NYC Trip, but the way we would do it and what we would include, it would just be too much money and I fear most of our coaster people wouldn't be interested enough. I mean, we saw a kiddie coaster, could have gone to Coney Island, but chose to do other stuff instead! I used to live in NYC so I love 'showing it off' to people and now reliving stuff through KT that I did at her age is weird/cool. Sign me up. -

^ 600 an hour according to their video they released a while ago. Although, I was worried about Batman low capacity but it helps to load two trains at once. Perhaps they could do the same for the Raptor. I'm not saying I don't want another RMC here but I like to see the larger version. Honestly, I think Fiesta needs an airtime machine like a hyper or megalite.
