Well deserved, and very glad I have this place within a reasonable drive. It used to just kind of be a side-stop on the way to other places, and now it's one of those destinations.

^ I have a hard time imagining they care even a little that someone went out of their way to take a picture of some construction machinery. It's not like there wasn't already a pretty good idea of what was going to happen to Mean Streak.

Elitch Gardens and Twister II haven been at the top of my "Must Get Rocky Mountained" list since I first rode that thing.

I think at this point they may as well re-theme the f'ing merry go round to some DC property. It was fine up until about Superman Ultimate Fluff.

But don't forget about reversing the trains on Freeze! There is something about putting it that way that really sums SFStL up.

^ This is simply not everyone's cup of tea- nothing wrong with that. At the same time, people do need to reel it in if they don't like it. Not the end of the world, go ride something else.

Glad to see no more Larson Loops added to the chain this year. Hopefully this is the last of these Free Spins as well. This whole Everyone gets a Batman! approach was much easier to stomach when the ride everyone got was actually something special like, uh, Batman (The Ride).

This makes me very sad. Really wanted to get to CGA before they either ripped it out or did this. That said, I'm relieved it means they'll be holding onto a design B&M came up with before they expanded into the cotton candy industry.

Whyever would you assume that? I'm not sure what what part of those lines you're targeting, but that entire snippet is hyperbole. I was only inquiring why SFA wasn't mentioned at all, not actually making a mandate to choose it! The rest of my post introduced the idea of visiting both SFA (for RoS) and KD. I was running with the premise that Mr. Corn wanted a dedicated trip to DC, and those are the two parks in closest proximity. Then, I edited my post when I saw that Mr. Corn could fly out of a different airport, and I put down for BGW and Norfolk International. Sarcasm.
