  1. If this is anything like Last Blast in 2002, then it's not to be missed. Looking forward to it- hopefully it is nice and chilly.
  2. While tweeting a selfy and watching brain-eating reality tv.
  3. Whyever would you assume that? I'm not sure what what part of those lines you're targeting, but that entire snippet is hyperbole. I was only inquiring why SFA wasn't mentioned at all, not actually making a mandate to choose it! The rest of my post introduced the idea of visiting both SFA (for RoS) and KD. I was running with the premise that Mr. Corn wanted a dedicated trip to DC, and those are the two parks in closest proximity. Then, I edited my post when I saw that Mr. Corn could fly out of a different airport, and I put down for BGW and Norfolk International. Sarcasm.
  4. Whyever would you assume that?
  5. Batman The Ride or Raging Bull @ SFGAm
  6. Yeah, After I took a closer look, I had a hearty laugh because that would still be such a Six Flags thing to do. Maybe next year.
  7. More flags! More fun! At first glance, I thought this was 8 of SFGAdv's coasters.
  8. Hydra is the first one that pops into my mind when it comes to "unique B&M". In Hydra's case, hopefully it's kept that way.
  9. We share that disappointment, but all of my rides have been the opposite- immaculately smooth but sorely lacking in the forces department.
  10. Neither do Wacky Worms, but just wait until they start RMC'ing those.
  11. Bah. Hopefully it's not like the outdoor elevators at Cedar Point.
  12. It would be funny if this ended up being VR.
  13. These days it's all about the techno and faux country.
  14. I've heard about these trim-less rides the first few trains of the day with low loads. People rave about them, but I always assumed the train wasn't going fast enough, so in the end you're getting the same ride you would during typical operation. I share your opinion of the ride- that style of layout is one I wish we saw more of from B&M on their taller non-loopers.
  15. That I cannot say for sure. I want to say no, but time has a way of shaping memories. I was just getting into the hobby the year Raging Bull made it's debut.
  16. I get the feeling (and I selfishly hope) that they wouldn't bother with an investment like that for Vortex and just leave it be. I know there was talk of such a conversion around the time Mantis was being redressed- any word since?
  17. Blasphemer! All it needs is some VR headsets and it'll be good as new.
  18. I go to Poland every 10 years or so. Looks like I'll have some solid-looking Vekoma products to sample next time around. Great to see the coaster count in Poland continue to rise.
  19. I don't really have number rankings assigned to coasters I've ridden. Here are some that immediately stand out to me using the eyeball test... Kumba/Montu - Busch Tampa Skyrush/Storm Runner - Hersheypark Voyage/Pick one of the other two - Holiday World Outlaw Run/Powder Keg - Silver Dollar City ...and of course, Goliath/Flashback @ SFNE.
