  1. Thou hast spoke aright. Great picture, too--DisneySea is one of the most photogenic parks I've ever visited.
  2. Are you sure this isn't the "Nearly Everything but a Carousel Museum"? My sister was gaga over Bobby Sherman, too.
  3. Yep--it's just the old I305 track and supports.
  4. I thought the tunnels were the best part of Hades--but getting to them was absolute hell. The water park looks good, particularly the new play area, but I have little desire to visit Mt. Olympus again.
  5. True enough, but some sort of heavily themed, largely inddor coaster would be good (it doesn't necessarily have to be launched).
  6. As long as they keep "Blood on the Saddle." If this turns out to be true, I guess it's a reflection of our shortened attention spans.
  7. I agree. And to me Verbolten was a big additions. When I said big earlier I intentionally did the quotes on it to indicate that to me a big coaster isn't literally a huge ride, it's just a major attraction. Big Thunder and Space Mountain are relatively small coasters, but because of what they are, they are big to me. Make sense? I'll go along with that.
  8. Remember that "E Ticket" need not necessarily mean "big coaster." Something along the lines of BGW's Verbolten, with an appropriate theme, of course, would qualify.
  9. ^Give the whale a GPS, then drop the whale in the Pacific?
  10. I agree with this completely. Knott's works best as a complement to a Disney vacation, and it is unique among the Cedar Fair parks.
  11. ^Sigh . . . so two pages ago: http://themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=1215004#p1215004. But I am in favor of this refurb.
  12. This one. In the pouring rain.
  13. I think they call that lagoon where the kayakers hang out "McCovey Cove." But the last time I attended a Giants game was at Candlestick Park.
  14. Hollywood Tour is much better than Disney's studio tours in Florida and France. Where else can you see a giant ape take on a PT boat? Plus, it has a shark (of sorts).
  15. You also get your picture on the screen, if you place in the top three. Reach for the sky, hombre!
  16. ^It would be perfect for Ghost Town (as would any kind of Wild West shooting dark ride). They're a lot of fun.
  17. I'd probably be awestruck if Knott's got Desperados.
  18. ^What a "green" thing to do.
  19. It looks like a very good, well-rounded family park. Thanks for the look, Erik.
  20. I was navigating while my brother was driving in UK back in 2004. I think he only slipped up twice in Scotland. The oncoming traffic will wise you up pretty quickly.
  21. But watch out for leeches in that water.
  22. Hmm--sounds like the old dark ride to me.
  23. A pirate ride using the Desperados ride system--you intrigue me, sir. Was Wacky Factory an improvement of the old-and-busted dark that used to be in the building at Lake Winnie?
