BGW's animal exhibits behind Lorikeet Glen between Ireland and France are nice and quiet--a good place to relax for a few minutes. The coffee house behind Grogan's in Ireland is a nice quiet place, too.
I agree--that sample figurine looks like it might come to life while you're asleep and kill you! (It would make a particularly creepy voodoo doll, as well.)
I think it unlikely that we'll see any new standups due to the issues others have already mentioned. There are only a few that I think are "good" (Riddler's Revenge and Georgia Scortcher in the U.S., and Milky Way at Mitsui Greenland in Japan).
^I agree that Knott's has made moves in the right direction--at least that was my impression at WCB two years ago. Something like Verbolten would be a great fit for Knott's, too.
I think a giga coaster would be completely inappropriate for that park; hell, I think Silver Bullet was a bad choice for Knott's. A new dark ride, especially some sort of "Wild West" shooter, would be perfect. But that's just my personal preference.
I assume you're referring to the old Kingdom of the Dinosaurs ride building. At WCB 2010, during the Q&A, we were told that the building was in pretty bad shape (as in, it's not safe enough to take anybody inside). I imagine they'd have to gut it and start over.
Robb and Elissa, thanks for putting together another great East Coast Bash! The I305 nighttime ERT was insane, the BGW backstage tour was great, and it was excellent to have it in Virginia again!
