  1. ^I'm not sure if I should be amazed or frightened by those ears.
  2. ^But did you find it "authentically disturbing"?
  3. ^A little more competition is always a good thing. It's good to see other companies stepping up (for example, RMC, Zierer, and Mack) to challenge B&M, Intamin, and Vekoma.
  4. I wasn't a big fan of the movie, either. I liked Gru, but didn't think the Minions were all that funny. However, I think it'll work well enough as a simulator ride.
  5. Nice find, Brandy--thanks! I love haunted walk-through attractions.
  6. Craig looks like he had a near-death experience on that deceptive little coaster.
  7. ^Maybe it was a murder-suicide.
  8. No matter how hard your throw them, they keep coming back.
  9. Noticed a goof on their "craft beer" list: Sierra Nevada Pale Ale comes from California, not Nevada.
  10. I think this is a pretty good example of a "tempest in a teapot."
  11. At 7:30 tonight, Williamsburg's Movie Tavern will be showing the 1966 Batman flick starring Adam West and Burt Ward. I'll be there to have a beer and catch this camp classic on the big screen. Holy cinematic revival! And always remember to keep your . . . . . . handy!
  12. Too bad Texas Chute Out is going away (glad I got to ride it New Texas Giant Bash). But I will shed no tears for Flashback (even though it was OK as Boomerangs go).
  13. And Catastrophe Canyon! The only interesting thing for me... That's the only interesting part of the tour that's left.
  14. You have to scream if you don't have an auto horn. I think it's a federal law.
  15. ^Being as you've posted about it three times, how can we help but notice?
  16. I'd love to see them use that huge chunk of land for something good. The tour, which was only "OK" to begin with, has been a shadow of its former self for years now.
  17. I think the Beast is an an enjoyable ride, but I like coasters with "eccentric" layouts (and Beast is about as eccentric as they come).
  18. ^Wrong. It was Col. Mustard in the library with the lead pipe.
  19. ^Sounds like a new TPR Challenge to me.
  20. ^Or eating it while riding on the double-down element itself--"doubling down on the double down."
  21. KFC totally needs to sponsor this new ride.
  22. Oops. SOB obviously. Yeah, that's what I figured.
  23. ^$16,000 is pretty good for a fund raiser that came together so quickly--my congratulations to all who participated!
  24. You forget one little detail: there never was anything wrong with the track. It was closed because of problems with the support structure. Are you talking about Beast or Son of Beast, BDG?
