  1. It makes sense. Of all the Planet Snoopy makeovers, KD's was the weakest (thanks to I305 happening at the same time). They may as well go all out and modernize (and Snoopyize) the Kidsville area.
  2. ^That doll would look less creepy if it were encased in carbonite.
  3. This would be worth it just for the "Brain T Virus Pasta."
  4. Going on the Klassy Kruise would've been worth it just for the shirt.
  5. ^Don't forget a sake bar for Japan.
  6. ^Especially vodka in an ice bar. It would be pretty cool (pun intended) if Disney put one of these in Epcot.
  7. This is a sad news--such a quirky, odd little park (particularly the very un-PC spalsh boat ride with cannibals).
  8. Knott's agrees with you. Perhaps you should read the current description of this very topic. I say, Holmes--how the deuce did you deduce that?
  9. I participated in PPP the first time I ever visited Knoebels and enjoyed it, but I was already meeting some friends there. They do some cool Halloween stuff (the overkay for the antique auto ride is fun), but I think I'd rather hit the place during a normal operating day, too.
  10. ^It's pretty much what Jeff Bridges says before they roll the opening credits of Tron Legacy.
  11. Yeah, that's pretty much the plot of Tron. The "design your own car" stuff sounds a bit like the paint-and-tire-shop scenes of Radiator Springs Racers--that is, I guess they'll be using similar tecnhology.

  13. Speaking of fog at Haunt . . . From 2011. From 2009.
  14. I visited SFOT in 2011 and had the opposite experience. I think it's one of the best parks in the chain, along with Six Flags Over Georgia. While I agree that Silver Dollar City is a better park overall, I think SFOT has a lot going for it.
  15. But one must admit that OzIris is very photogenic, at least.
  16. My Dad used to be an apricot farmer, and he believed that Smuckers was making at least that flavor for Knott's back in the 1970s (he used to say that KBF apricot jam tasted like "high-grade Smucker's"). But Knott's was still responsible for the boysenberry jam back then, as I recall.
  17. This makes sense for Santa Cruz. Undertow is a clever name, too.
  18. Dude, he was making a joke!!!! And remember--Krakatoa is actually west of Java!
  19. The Bullet is a ride that I've wanted to check out since I first saw pictures of it on TPR. It would be great to see it operating again.
  20. Adventureland is a great, noncorporate park. Outlaw is a solid ride, and the Underground is just weird enough to be interesting.
  21. And how does "preferred parking" relate to seats for the concert? I hope this nimrod does call his attorney, so he can spend a few grand to get back the price of his park admission.
  22. 22/30--misread one question (oops).
  23. ^Does it hurt the second guy's head just enough?
  24. Great picture of Big Thunder--and real snow, unlike the California Matterhorn.
  25. Well, I went over to the park today to see it there was any significant Howl-o-Scream work going on, but didn't see much before the thunderstorms and the hordes for the Victoria Justice (whoever the hell she is) concert hit. But here are four pictures, for what it's worth (this concert was rescheduled for Monday, thanks to all the storms we've been having). Maybe I'll have more next week. Yes, HOS is definitely on the way as you enter the parking lot. Wunderbarn is gone. This is, no doubt, the work of Satan. This can be either good news or bad news. I'll let you decide which. This will be the home of "13: Your Number's Up," one of HOS's longest conga lines. That's all for now.
