  1. This has already been posted in another thread...
  2. Here's two more pics of coasters. Arabian Flight, a B&M Dive Machine and Rapid Response, an Intamin Accel A spin off of Shiekra's design, features a different approach to the splashdown. A small Accel, inspired by Superman Escape at Movie World.
  3. Green Lantern was built years ago at SFKK, it's not a new ride. He was saying all the New B&Ms being built seem to have that color. Also the track and supports are not brown...they're black...
  4. Here's a drawing of an X-Car inspired by Abismo. I give you: X-FALL Any good? Any more?
  5. A few things from California: At Legoland California: They have a resturant called the Sports Cafe. It was named after the now defunct sports area which was replaced by Land of Adventure. Some props from that sports area are still backstage and inside the cafe. The Lego Showplace Theater by Duplo Playland has been abandoned for years now, last time it held a show was during a Bob the Builder/Thomas The Tank Engine Weekend several years ago (only time I've seen Technic Coaster's queue completely full besides opeing month) There is a section of the Drivers Ed attraction for kids that is defunct. This back section was closed a year or two after the park opened and consisted of a bridge, and a path back through a little nature area. (strangley, the speakers still play music in that area) The Lego Factory Tour has shelves in the hallways containing models from the defunct New England Harbor miniland area. The building in miniland where the master builders work has a small area with viewing platforms above it. The area used to contain a Lego Art exhibit which consisted of about 20 pieces of artwork turned into Legos. At the San Diego Zoo's Wild Safari Park (Formerly know as the Wild Animal Park) There is a gigantic sore: The old path for the Wasaga Busch Line Tram is still visable throughout many areas of the park, the track is gone, but the path remains, a reminder of how they killed the best attraction they ever had. (park has gotten worse over the years)
  6. Now that I've reached Bell Gardens ten year anniversary, I've decided to release a download. This post shows every ride currently in Bell Gardens, as well as several overviews of the park, enjoy... Bell Gardens Celebrating Ten Years Shot0255.bmp Little Lightning Shot0256.bmp Fireball Shot0257.bmp Cloud Wheel Shot0258.bmp The Tea Party Shot0259.bmp Merry-Go-Round The Gardens Shot0260.bmp Firework Flyer Shot0261.bmp Magi Maelstrom Shot0262.bmp Great American Zipper Shot0263.bmp Thuinder Racers Shot0264.bmp Kitanzi Shot0265.bmp Bell Gardens Express Shot0266.bmp Overview 1 Shot0267.bmp Overview 2 Shot0268.bmp Overview 3
  7. It's already gone, sold, being re-built in another park. (in a giant tent I might add)
  8. I started drawing 2-D coasters in 2nd and 3rd Grade, and over the years perfected a style for drawing one sided coasters: One Of My Masterpieces, a Eurofigher inspired by Mystery Mine and Saw: Do you guys want to see more?
  9. In my opinion these people just want attention, and frankly, I find it absolutely incredible people are ignorant enough to post "evidence" on Facebook of all places. (like anyone will believe them besides people who don't like this site.). While I know Robb has a vibrant sense of humor, I take everything with a grain of salt and don't get offended easily. (I'll never forget the: If you don't stop this your a$$ will be banned faster than Xcelerator launches up it's top hat ) This crap just annoys me more than anything, but you know what? Which site has a higher amount of traffic? Hmmm? Food for thought.
  10. (unknown person): That's a shame, I'll have to attend the memorial...Mr. Knight was a great guy.
  11. Wow! I love the color of that Mega-Lite! Looks like a great coaster, will you post a video for us non-NL players? Just a quick question, but what program do you use for you logos and car textures?
  12. I love Flow Riders, but yes, they do beat you to death, bring you back to life, and, beat you again. Worst and Best time I ever had on one: I had just gotten on, and had managed to get up near the front, and my board slipped out from under me. I did a complete front flip and face planted into the waves. That 360 degree front flip off that board was absolutely amazing, yet utterly embarrassing at the same time.
  13. Change the fences around the Double Sky Wheel, they look really tacky. Maybe change it to something more elegant looking to match the rest of the park.
  14. My parent's accountant used to work for Disney. Whenever the IRS called, he would put them on hold.....and let them listen to It's a Small Word for ten minutes!
  15. I'm Back! I managed to get back to Legoland for a few hours on Sat. for the monthy Master Build-Off, and to get a construction update. Technic's line had actually entered the switchbacks, a rare sight during the off-season (I was glad to see them busy though). But first, one of the more unique features of Legoland CA.: Years ago when Legoland was being considered, people were worried about Legoland CA causing traffic jams. Their solution? Built a long winding road leading to the park's entrance. If you look carefully, on either side you can see Lego letters, and at the end of the video you see what they spell. I actually visit Legoland once a month for the Master Build-Off (I have yet to win). Basically you build a model on a small baseplate, using a specified theme. This month's theme was Hero Factory, in honor of the opening of the new HF building area, which replaced the Bionicle one. RIP Surprisingly, there were only about 20-25 models completed by people, when usually there are about 50-60 by the end of the first day. My model is featured at the end. I also did a lap of the park to get video of construction....to my surprise, the giant dirt hill behind the Pirate Shores area of the park was slowly being hauled away (or appeared to be) evidenced by the large ammount of construction vehicles...future waterpark expansion? Also, the Lego Art area, above the Master Builder's Building in Miniland has been removed...Unknown if it will return to the park. Hope you enjoyed this month's VTR from Legoland CA!
  16. I lost that park and all the rides, (RCT2 crashed) but I did save this GCI coaster named White Thunder, what do you guys think of it? SCR21.BMP Layout with station fly-through. SCR22.BMP Do you guys like the station?
  17. I though I'd stepped into the 70's in that park, it was interesting and really fun. The Lakeside Cyclone is a great woodie, the first drop is terrific and the layout is good, as are the trains. (only seat blets! )
  18. Very interesting looking. I can't wait to see how this turns out.
  19. So far, everything looks amazing. I'm one of those people who can never go to a park, or go on a ride and hate it completely (Psyclone SFMM being the one exception) and Ferarri World looks like an amazing park. I'm hoping to go to Dubai for my 18th Birthday, hopefully everything will remain open until then!
  20. It looks as if a splash effect will be in use for the ride, if you look at the concept art. That launch tunnel with the projected Manta Rays sounds awesome, I can't wait till this thing opens. One another note, it was mentioned in an interview on the local news that construction should begin in a month! Can't wait! -SCC
  21. Just purchased my tickets last night, it will be my first TPR Event! I can't wait! Timber Mountain Backstage Tour looks amazing! Counting down the days.... -SCC
  22. Hello Big Mike, I love your TR's from places all over the world! I've been following this thread for about a year, but haven't posted until now! Hansa looks like a great little park, and I was wondering, how does Flutch stack up against the other high themed Eurofighters ?(Saw, Mystery Mine, etc.) Once again. I love TRs and hope to meet you at this year's WCB Event! -SCC
  23. My idea for a second generation Arrow mega-looper. SCR18.BMP Triple Corkscrews return! Feedback? This may be going into a new park of mine. SCR19.BMP B&M Invert inspired by a certain Japanese Invert. SCR20.BMP Standup, Second Gen
  24. If only they offered some sort of insurance against ghost related injuries Dave Shhhhh! Don't give them any ideas! We don't need anymore "handing out rubber pants because this ride is so scary it makes you have accidental leaks" stunts. I'm guessing the ride isn't going to be moved; they are way too far along on construction to stop now. If they are moving it, it's most likely for some other reason and they decided to use this ghost story to cover up why. Still, really Alton? Rubber pants? really Thorpe Park? Headless Monks? I'm pretty sure that's called common sense, and It's a water slide not a coaster.
  25. Weird how the front car is missing....it was there when I went back in September....My guess is that they rehab one car at a time, instead of taking the entire ride out of operation. Yes, that swinging ship is the best one I have ever been on period. The reason it's partially enclosed is because of noise issues with people screaming. Pacific Park may be small, but it's a great park that I recommend to everyone.
