  1. Yes... let the TRON franchise explosion be everlasting... Indoor Vekoma Booster Bike Lightcycle attraction MUST happen.
  2. Perez Hilton just called to tell me that you are now his personal god. If I laugh that loudly again at work, I will surely be fired. Please get me fired.
  3. Very psyched, if only because I'm glad to see Six Flags dipping their toes into the EuroFighter waters, finally. If they want to clone these babies like Boomerangs, I say let 'em go right ahead. And I second the motion for some of those Gerstlauer Bobsled coasters in the U.S. Haven't been on either type of coaster and want to, bad. Gimme, gimme!
  4. My shirt is now damp with drool... Wow... That's a "bucket list" coaster for sure.
  5. Thanks for sharing the great pix; I never get tired of looking at these Korean parks (or any Asian park, for that matter). And, yeah, what the damn is up with getting another Aquatrax coaster built somewhere?! Like Magic Mountain, maybe, or something?! And those scream shields... Yikes... I can only imagine the bacterial horrors that are growing in there, what with all the sweaty, spittle-flecked screams goin' on...
  6. Just another big, hearty thanks to everyone at TPR and KD who helped put together a truly spectacular day. The after-dark ERT was just sick (feeling so much Intamin love for both Volcano and Intimidator) and the beer-fueled mayhem of the TPR Quest game was hysterically epic. The many awesome memories are making work today suck particularly hard.
  7. Great stuff, awesome to see Drachen Fire, especially. I LOVED that coaster, if for little else than that wicked first drop/inversion combo. And ol' Wolfie... *sniff* ... hold on, there's something in my eye [wipes away tear]...
  8. That totally rules that you rented out the whole joint! And now I'm also having flashbacks about riding that tiny car up the leg of the Arch. Fun fact: according to the little movie shown at the base of the arch, the engineers predicted that 13 people would die building it. And because all the workers were trying so hard not to be one of the unlucky 13, no one died.
  9. BRILLIANT that you included the City Museum on the trip! Echoing what many have said before, it's just mind-blowing that you don't need to sign a five-page, notarized liability waiver to play in there. Only went once, but I left with many bruises and many great memories. When I was there (as I recall), the shoe slides were an "upcharge" attraction. Is that still the case?
  10. Rockin' updates; keep 'em coming. (Feel like an idiot that I passed up on the Marvel cave my one visit to SDC. Won't happen again.)
  11. I did not know who Leslie Hall was until today and now I think I am in love... Wacky = sexy. Awesome updates; thanks as always!
  12. DAMN, these photos are making me miss the East Coast something FIERCE! Knoebels and Kennywood are sacred shrines to the almighty gods of lumber majesty.
  13. So many of these Euro-parks seem to have a goofy charm that can't be found in the States, which is a real shame. I hope Francis Ford Coppola's lawyers don't take a close look at the signage on the front of Dracula's crib.
  14. ^ Even on a semi-cloudy day, those mountains are just crazy-beautiful. Seeing roller coasters and wacky water rides in these surroundings is just surreal, in the best way. More, please!
  15. Awesome looking concept art! Mega-psyched! Also looking forward to a Vekoma SLC made entirely out of wood, with concrete restraints, that has seats for service animals.
  16. Just spectacular, both the parks and the photos. Europapark and Phantasialand have been on my bucket list for so long and they just look better and better, the more I see of them. Thanks!
  17. "Three girls... one tube." My favorite caption of this thread so far.
  18. Super Awesome Lucky Smile ETT! This rocks out like nobody's business. So cool that you got all that quality kittie time.
  19. Great updates for the entire trip, and I second the motion for more themed Eurofighters (esp. R-rated horror-movie themed Eurofighters). SFMM, I'm looking at you...
  20. AWESOME photos and I'm totally digging the "make your eyes bleed" red monochromatic look! Very hot!
  21. Your Wacky Worm story has to rank as one of the greatest credit-whore anecdotes ever. And those cave shots, etc., just beautiful. Really looking forward to future updates! (Also looking forward to visiting "the place where Freida Pinto was created" myself someday...)
  22. I would not have thought to go out of my way for this park, but the haunted house is sounding pretty wicked. Love the fact they went with a "less is more" approach designing the exterior. Nice.
  23. Just one more thanks for a GREAT look at a park that I've been dying to check out for years and years. I won't make the mistake again of being nearby and not going the extra miles. Also, I loved this remark: "With all my credits out of the way I gave some love to the flats." It's the kind of thing we say amongst ourselves that makes total sense, but might as well be Cantonese to our "general public" friends...
  24. It's been years since I've been to MA and it looks almost completely different! Really nice upgrades all around! Very glad to hear Shivering Timbers is running well; loved that ride a bunch back in the day. Nice trip report; thanks!
  25. I'm just... that's just... ...Wow... I must say, the flume ride through the giant engine model may be the thing that has me most excited, but it all looks really, really good.
