  1. ^ I'll tell you exactly why I cannot stand the third film (and it's not because the T-Rex dies): it's the plot; it's atrocious. I do like that it had some moments from the book, but I hate how they "bridged" them together with the Velociraptors. In my opinion, it seemed like these parts were thrown together lazily just to make SOME central plot line. It was way too repetitive and grew tiring quickly. After the second or third time of them running into the Velociraptors, all I could think was "Come on, raptors, just eat them already to end this train wreck."
  2. Both had the same stand up coaster. Ferrari World and Universal Studios Florida
  3. When I saw the picture of her in the article, I didn't realize who it was! Since the article was a summary of the interview with Bruce's mom, I thought that's who it was!
  4. ^ You skipped "Y"! Yankee Cannonball - Canobie Lake (Now, back to "A"!)
  5. That's what they say about EVERY sequel...like that dreadful third movie in this franchise.
  6. The old CP version was called "Freeway", similar in concept to current Disney system but without the technology Basically you could get two hand stamps (at most) per day, one on each wrist. The ink (more like paint) used was so heavy it was impossible to clean you wrist. CP set up booths outside the rides that offered Freeway and would stamp an one hour time slot on your wrist for that day. After stamping a set number of people for that one hour period they would switch to a stamp with a different time and continue this process until they stamped a specific number of people for each ride. Thanks for the greater detail, Larry! I knew it wasn't called Fast Lane, but I couldn't remember for the life of me what it was called. Didn't they reuse the old Freeway queues/merge points for Fast Lane?
  7. Down in the Pigeon Forge area, I was quite a fan of The Diner in Seiverville. When you go there, you really feel like you've transported back to the '50s. The food is great, and there's a VERY extensive menu (my personal favorite is the Elk Burger). The milkshakes are amazing, and they give you enough for two!
  8. That SkyScreamer is going to provide some amazing views of Mexico City!! One of these days....
  9. "Let Your Love Flow" by the Bellamy Brothers
  10. True. The person below me has never ridden a Schwarzkopf.
  11. P: Paddington
  12. Then the Darien Lake thread wouldn't exist, and TPR would be an even better place. What if Cedar Point turned Maverick backwards?
  13. Coolest Wacky Worm EVER. If Disney ever built a Wacky Worm, that would be it (well, maybe with better Animatronics ).
  14. ^^^ Since you're the Williamsburg local, Chuck, what is your opinion on Food for Thought? I really enjoyed eating there on my last visit.
  15. Work Would you rather ride Kingda Ka or Formula Rossa?
  16. Actually, there is a Motel 6 fairly close by. It's located in the town of Dale, which isn't too far away. I stayed there when I went to the park in 2010 and it was quite nice.
  17. If I had just one day for WDW, I'd definitely pick the Magic Kingdom. Depending on the crowds and how much I wanted to do, I might take the monorail over to EPCOT for a few hours there, too.
  18. Nope! I don't believe TPR has a video of this ride.
  19. Not the weirdest out there, but here's a fun one from an article posted about the new woodie in Ireland. LINK
  20. Good article with some nice pictures. Some of the comments are pretty interesting, though...
  21. Looks like I made one that's too hard for you guys. Hint: It's in China. That should narrow it down enough!
