  1. It seems the original pitch for Tower of Terror was with the idea of using 1st Gen towers. One of the pitch concept arts has a layout that appears to work as two of the towers combined together.
  2. Also, Weta has some of the best artists out there. So it is awesome to see a land at a theme park with a bunch of stuff designed by Weta.
  3. I heard that before I went last August but when I went on the Safari ride, the Zebras were there.
  4. Well if anything Disney's Imagineers have a lot of source material to pull from. I believe there has been concepts for a "Frozen" (Snow Queen) attraction since at least the 70s.
  5. I would argue for Seattle. I imagine it would need lots of awnings and indoor places.
  6. Lower the hill after the big drop on Expedition Everest so the ride has some airtime.
  7. I really liked Chefs De France at Epcot for some reason. I don't know particularly why. Outside of Disney though I haven't really been to many parks outside of Six Flags Great America in over a decade so I don't remember the food really anywhere. And even when I did go to places like Kennywood, I never tried the Potato Patch. Also, I remember Six Flags Great America having better food but it is all now just burger places and pizza. I swear they had better variety and better food in the past.
  8. Alien Encounter at the Magic Kingdom. Alien Encounter's was pretty much my favorite Disney attraction to have ever existed. And Tim Curry robot was so foreboding and cool though I really wish I could have seen the Phil Hartman version. (My first time on the attraction was 1995.) Hell, the New Tommorowland was the coolest thing ever then. It is still really cool. I should add Time Keeper and Dreamflight to the list. To be fair though, Time Keeper and Dreamflight needed to be replaced and what replaced them are great attractions. Just not New Tomorrowland great.
  9. This is way cooler than all the carnival dark rides I've been on. It seems the carnival ones only care to try to startle the riders with jumps. This one tries to tell a story and set a place which is awesome because it does so when 90 percent of the ride is pulpwood.
  10. Should have started with Cici's Pizza instead of tequila.
  11. All I remember are all the ads for computer animation courses at a bunch of difference colleges.
  12. I didn't think Shockwave was that rough. I still really liked the ride even in its final years. Now Steel Phantom was rough. First half was awesome but when you hit that first loop it was just pain until the ride was over.
  13. I rode the water coaster 2 years ago and it was really fun. I hope it is still there.
  14. Even half-finished the ride looks really awesome in person. I love how swoopy the track is. Even if the ride was 30 seconds long it looks like it will still be fun.
  15. Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. Cause it was closed every day I was at Disneyworld until the last day I was there.
  16. I'm 25. Probably Whizzer or Rolling Thunder at Six Flags Great America but I don't remember. I remember going to the park in 1990 (I was 3). But I don't remember what rides I went on if any that time. I do remember seeing Tidal Wave and seeing some Chinese Acrobatics show. I also remember being at Disneyworld that same year but I know I didn't go on any coasters. Most likely though is Whizzer is my first coaster even if it was a later year.
  17. Steel Phantom was such a rough and painful coaster.
  18. Space Mountain Omega side at the Magic Kingdom.
  19. I wonder if people complaining about Mean Steak never had to wait a full line for it. I remember waiting 3 hours to ride it back in 1998 when the entire line was filled up. Anyway, I think the new American Eagle line fits. Such a long walk for such a long distance. Dueling Dragons also gets a vote because even 10 years ago the outdoor line was no longer in use it seemed and the outdoor line was crazy long with all the switchbacks next to the castle.
  20. So I was at Epcot two weeks ago and does anybody else feel the park is in way better condition than it was 10 years ago? I mean the new Test Track is totally rad. And Mission Space is still awesome. And Spaceship Earth is better now that it doesn't have some mis-projected predictions. And Soarin is sweet. And The Living Seas is in much better condition with Nemo (still deserted though.) Also, Captain EO rocks. Anyway. I had not been to Disneyworld in 9 years so it was nice to see Epcot in great shape especially since certain forums always whine that the park is shambles.
  21. I personally expect a 165 foot tall version of z-force.
  22. I miss this park. I went in 1998. I absolutely loved Big Dipper. It was such a good ride. Double Loop was pretty fun too.
  23. Men in Black The Ride and Back To The Future at Universal.
  24. I wish it were Superman at Six Flags Great America but that would never happen. The ride is too popular. The ride is good, but someone much better should be in its place. It feels like the only reason for that ride is the pretzel loop. I do think it will be one of the stand up coasters. That type of ride has completely fallen out of favor but then again, I imagine that if a park can afford a cheap used B&M, it doesn't matter what type of coaster it is.
  25. In a row without getting out of my seat is a tie between Raging Bull at SFGAm and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad at WDW. Both at 10 times. Space Mountain at WDW probably has the record for most times ridden. I haven't kept count but I would do many last hour runs at WDW where I would try to ride it as many times as possible.
