  1. I found X-flight awesome and this looks awesome but I don't know when or if I will ever return to Cedar Point. Though it has been a while already. I went in 1998.
  2. I imagine as new construction methods and improvements in engineering occur, we will see some really crazy stuff. There might come a point where steel coasters will become almost entirely just track and super minimalistic supports. I mean stuff that makes Leviathan's lift hill look cluttered.
  3. I waited 3 hours to ride Mean Streak. 2 and a half hours to ride Raptor. Though that was 1998 and Mean Streak was awesome back then. I waited 4 hours to ride Mission: Space but that is cheating because I wanted to be first in line and it was in the test and adjust phase where it usually opened at 4pm.
  4. X-Flight at Six Flags Great America.
  5. New food? Awesome. I went last year and it really felt like the menu for the whole park had become super limited. I liked a lot of the park but the food used to be better. Or at least I remember it being better and having way more variety. Also, the ads plastered floor to ceiling everywhere in the park is kind of insane. Like V2, brought to you by hair gel. I am also kind of surprised the park isn't building the new entrance even further out. It seems that it would then leave even more room for expansion into the parking lot.
  6. I was just reading some other forums and people are being internet people and acting like Disney Springs is the worst news ever. I don't get it. This expansion addresses every problem Downtown Disney has. I do think that they are still mad Adventurers Club is closed. People ask me why I go to those sites but I enjoy their bitterness. Even if just one of the parking garages gets built and nothing else does, it would still be really nice. Finding parking sucks and the buses routes through Downtown Disney has always been weird. Also, Downtown Disney needs bike rickshaws.
  7. 1. Rock N Roller Coaster 2. Dueling Dragons (ice then fire) 3. Space Mountain 4. The Hulk 5. The Mummy It has been 9 years since I last visited Florida so I don't know how all the rides are now. I love the sensory overload of Rock N Rollercoaster and the ride was smooth still in 2004. If it has become rough, then that is a shame. I'm not a big fan of the Hulk however. It is a really fun ride but I found it pretty rough. I felt Dueling Dragons was way more fun. I am very interested to see how Everest is this summer. I don't think I will make it to Sea World or Universal though. I have been wanting to ride Kraken since it opened and still have not had a chance.
  8. Demon at Six Flags Great America. First time I went on it I remember seeing the ride from Rolling Thunder and wanting to go on it afterwards. I was still really young and I think it was the year Batman opened.
  9. Sorry for sounding condescending. I did not mean for the message to read that way.
  10. I really wish they would get rid of the bill boarded leaves on the trees. I know it saves a lot performance wise but actual geometry looks much better. I hope at least that they will offer ways to import your own trees and have things like texture blending, masks to fake translucency, and an engine that can handle a decent polycount on a tree. And qualified normals. This engine supports qualified normals right? I wanted to post this when the game was first shown off. I'm sorry for taking so long. Also, I know this probably has been asked, but it seems the overall surfaces of everything in the game is shaded without normals. What tangent basis will this engine use and what program will be the best for baking? It seems the standard is x-normal because of the fact that people use different software and x-normal is free. I'm honestly not a big fan of any of the scenery yet. I would probably absorb myself into the game if it turns out good and make a ton of custom scenery.
  11. The people on a certain wdw fan site were making the BTMRR additions seem like the worst thing ever but damn that is super cool and it really seems that with each next-gen line addition the overall implementation is getting better and better. What I really like is that it is more like the features in the line for the Indiana Jones ride than say Soarin. When I visit this summer I will definitely want to wait in stand-by for BTMRR. I also hope some of the older interactive line features are revisited because this newer stuff is so much cooler.
  12. I would pick Playstation The Ride or Bling. Both resided at Blackpool Pleasure Beach.
  13. I remember watching The Santa Clause 2 there.
  14. I was at the fair today. Though when I got there, the only coaster still running was the wooden one due to rain. That coaster is so amazing. It's sad that it is almost never open because it is such a good ride. Also, the rotor there is amazing just for how much the floor drops. The one at Six Flags Great America only dropped like 1 foot.
