  1. I think I read somewhere that Tigris only owns a tiny amount of Six Flags shares, making this insignificant.
  2. Abismo... reminds me of Pepto-Bismal. It's esentially Sky Wheel + a few turns and hills, it seems to appear to waste a lot of speed at the end, but than again, it's replacing the footprint of a Wildcat, not a bad idea.
  3. Last year, in 2004, my family went to BGW for my sister's birthday. I remember not wanting to go, just so I could sleep longer. When we pulled up to the park, and my first thought was, "There is no way I'm riding that". After riding Big Bad Wolf and Loch Ness Monster the first day, a huge step for me, we came back in the evening of day two after being at Water Country USA. By now my parents had given up on trying to get me on Apollo's Chariot, but I managed to get myself on it. I thought it had inversions, silly me, I didn't know anything. But after riding, I loved it, and became hooked on roller coasters. Oh yeah, and I rode Alpeingeist that night also.
  4. US Road Tripper... I'm scarred for life.
  5. Is Erik's Batman: The Ride at Six Flags St. Louis?
  6. Is this a joke? Oh please, let it be a joke, or this is the dumbest idea ever.
  7. Yay! Finally! I thought this was dead many many months ago!
  8. Don't forget William's Grove... we're losing all of these parks with classic woodies.
  9. I guess this is mine: 1. Apollo's Chariot 2. Volcano: The Blast Coaster 3. Superman: Ride Of Steel (SFA) 4. Hulk 5. Alpengeist 6. DD Fire 7. Storm Runner 8. Steel Force 9. DD Ice 10. Hydra: The Revenge
  10. Yay! Recreations! I'm obssesed with getting as many of these as I can! Of course, I'm too bad to make my own...
  11. They seem to have very specific boards... too bad no one's going to visit them! I mean seriously, you have a RCT3 Plain, RCT3 Soaked, RCT3 Wild, and a RCT3 All board. Looks like you might have more pointless boards than members.
  12. For me, on a trip I made to Italy I found both Venice and Modena to be captivating. Even though I only spent a few hours in Modena, I found it nice, it had a nice Italian town feeling, wish I could've sstayed longer. And I found Venice to be amazing, with no cars, lots of walking, and a generally less urgent lifestyle. Unfortantely, Venice is very tourist oriented, with seemingly more tourists than residents walking around.
  13. 57% Right on the Mason-Dixon Line. Their right, I live in Northern Virginia, right near the Mason Dixon line. But I dislike rednecks...
  14. I read Little A-Merrick-A intends to recreate this coaster and use the original cars sometime in the distant future, according to rcdb. So this coaster may actually live on.
  15. You mean Geauga has Villian, and that was built before Cedar Fair times. At least Cedar Fair's inverts have unique layouts.
  16. After six of nine votes, here's the scores: 1) Steel Venom (Geauga Lake) 6* 16) Mind Eraser (SFA) 0 8 ) Hydra: The Revenge (Dorney Park) 3 9) Silver Comet (Martin's Fantasy Island) 3 4) Cyclone (Coney Island) 4 13) Shockwave (Drayton Manor) 2 5) New Mexico Rattler (Cliff's) 5* 12) Comet (Hersheypark) 1 6) G Force (Drayton Manor) 3 11) Silver Bullet (Knott's) 3 3) Deja Vu (SFGam) 1 14) Dragon Mountain (Marineland) 5* 7) Batman: The Ride (SFMM) 2 10) Scream! (SFMM) 4 2) Avalanche (Timber Falls) 6* 15) Viper (SFMM) 0 *Clinched Advancement
  17. Version A sounds better to me, it's more unique.
  18. Here's how this works: I've taken 16 random coasters using RCDB's random coaster feature, eliminating very popular or very obscure coasters, and have seeded them based on my personal preference of which ones I would ride. What you (the voter) must do, is vote on which of the ones in each pair you would rather ride. It functions like an college basketball bracket, 1 vs. 16, 2 vs. 15, etc. The one with more votes after nine voters advances to the next round. Do not base your vote in each bracket based on if you rode one but not the other, just base it on which one appears to be better based on what you know. Enough of my rambling, here's the bracket for round one: 1) Steel Venom (Geauga Lake) vs. 16) Mind Eraser (SFA) 8 ) Hydra: The Revenge (Dorney Park) vs. 9) Silver Comet (Martin's Fantasy Island) 4) Cyclone (Coney Island) vs. 13) Shockwave (Drayton Manor) 5) New Mexico Rattler (Cliff's) vs. 12) Comet (Hersheypark) 6) G Force (Drayton Manor) vs. 11) Silver Bullet (Knott's) 3) Deja Vu (SFGam) vs. 14) Dragon Mountain (Marineland) 7) Batman: The Ride (SFMM) vs. 10) Scream! (SFMM) 2) Avalanche (Timber Falls) vs. 15) Viper (SFMM) Let the Voting Begin!
  19. This is great news! I've heard the park is not that great, but with renovations it sounds like it could be very good. And saving a classic coaster is always good!
  20. Ha, I just did it, took me a minute to figure it out. That's cheap, the way they did it. Buti t's cool while you believe it.
  21. 1. A 2. E 3. F 4. F 5. B 6. A 7. D 8. G 9. H
  22. I started to grey out on SFA's S:ROS's first helix once for some reason. Maybe it was due to a lack of sleep the night before, and no breakfast, but it still seemed strange, I usually am totally in it at that part.
  23. Only game I have with one that immediately comes to mind is Crazy Taxi.
  24. I think I have to agree with the above! I hope you're okay. Ew.
  25. Intamin Freefalls are the scariest I've been on, though the S&S Turbo Drops scare me even more, for a ride I've never ridden.
