  1. Also, it's good peace of mind to know that they're aware of whether my restraint is locked or unlocked before sending the train out onto the track, regardless of whether (or if) a computer tells them it is or isn't. Rides these days get more and more wild, so it's especially welcome on those airtime machines.
  2. It's also a shaded smoking area, which isn't the most pleasant thing depending on the direction of wind, but it at least makes some kind of use out of it (for now). I second what you guys said that it would make a wonderful shaded dining area, though.
  3. Map is posted one page back. But I actually can't see any difference to the structure on the new map as well.
  4. Just for clarification, did you also mean Zipline?
  5. ^Hoping maybe to fit something in like they did with Cyclos next to Lightning Run! ^^Gap between the two fence gates? You can't really squeeze through them.
  6. Dropped by for a couple of hours. Felt like a hot summer's day with the high temps. Eye of the Storm was simple, yet plenty of fun! I also think it's in a good spot in the park too! Didn't take too many photos, but I did post a slowmo of Thunder Run's new train on Twitter, and make this offride video of Eye of the Storm. Two things I noticed on my visit too: 1) T3 now has an onride photo section installed, which I had no idea about until I got on it! 2) Storm Chaser plaza received some work which could hint at potential sidewalk expansion stretching under Storm Chaser's second inversion (or maybe only better access for service road). The curb and foliage is a really nice touch
  7. It's so easy to dooooo We're all waiting for yooouuu
  8. Planet Coaster devs revealed that they snuck new cheat codes into the latest update: BIG EDIT: This was gonna be a mess if I kept updating it like I was before, so I made it a coherent list of all the cheats they announce: -Rename a person or staff member to "TegidCam" -- Controllable peep POV camera. -Rename go-kart track to "BOLLARD" -- Lets you drive the go-karts -Rename a person to "Andy Chappell" -- Person drives a supercharged go-kart (might be the most hilarious thing I've ever seen in the game). -Rename a person to "James Taylor" -- Reduced Friction -Rename a person to "Andy Fletcher" -- No Friction -Rename a staff member to "David Getley" -- Increases crime rate -Rename a security guard to "Lockettman" -- Security guard becomes Hulk and explosively plows through crowds when chasing someone. -Rename a shop to "Mclinthe" -- Everybody vomits...! -Rename a staff member to "Steve Wilkins" -- Increase breakdown rate of all rides. -Rename a ride "Frontier" -- That ride will never break down! This is part of Planet Coaster Cheat Day they have going on today, so there may be more revealed as the day goes on. I first found these on their Twitter page. All cheats were confirmed on their forum post. Controllable go-karts, supercharged go-karts: -(Don't be fooled, driving one is apparently not easy): Low/no friction coasters. (Silvarret): High crime, crazy security guards. (Olli43): Everybody Pukes! (MrMEOLA): Ride(s) breakdown more or less. (Planet Coaster):
  9. Totally dream speculating, but couldn't the highest point be close to 200ft (maybe 180ft like Sky Coaster) and the rest of the coaster stay well below that, like 150ft and lower. It could call for some serious speed airtime hills.
  10. If everyone's still okay with "shed spoilers," I'll take a wild guess below... Were they referring to the glowing eyes that appear "magically" the moment the brakes release the train? Similar to the Son of Beast logo?
  11. Both Mystic Timbers and Diamondback are great airtime filled coasters. Mystic Timbers surprised me with how many times it could sustain its airtime. Diamondback, alone, is the coaster incarnation of pure bliss (and nobody can tell me otherwise). Ejector airtime is always fun, but you really can't go wrong with sustained floater plus comfortable seats.
  12. In case you missed it, Firecracker ran a test! [fbvideonew] [/fbvideonew]
  13. There's no shame in it. I pulled it up on my laptop, which has no mods downloaded, but my desktop has plenty of mods on it for the game. Heck, I used mods to get my park the way it is (I populated hundreds of people with a cheat mod, and let them smash benches and garbage cans). I'm certain most people who currently play Parkitect have a handful of mods installed.
  14. ^Nice park! Reminds me much of a simple Six Flags or Cedar Fair park. Though somehow after a few minutes into the scenario, 36 people died across two coasters... not sure that was supposed to happen there! Maybe it was because I forgot to download the mods you listed as well. Either way, it's probably not your fault. This also brings me to my next point, my park isn't going to require any mods to play. I mostly just wanted to let people download it and play it with no extra things required. It might lack in the aesthetics of things, but the focus here is more on gameplay and simply running the park.
  15. Considering the fact that Parkitect comes with no actual scenarios, I thought I might utilize one of the features to spice up the game a bit. I toyed with the scenario editor to try to create a playable management scenario. I may consider doing some more, and hope more people could even follow-suit at some point. This scenario's theme is based around an amusement park that sits on a wealthy person's property. After the owner died in their home, there was no one left to take care of it all, so it all eventually fell to neglect and was abandoned altogether! Time passes with many of the park's rides being sold-off, the benches and wooden roller coaster rotting and falling apart, and plenty of trash bins knocked over by wind and trespassers. This park is heavily influenced by the Rotting Heights park featured in the original Roller Coaster Tycoon. Your goal is to breathe life into this neglected park. Bring in a fresh new crew and clean up the entire park. The game doesn't allow me to re-order the objectives/goals, so they are listed out of order in the game. Nonetheless, they are as follows: 1: "Have at least 80 people in your park." 2: "Have at least 200 people in your park." 3: "Have at least 300 people in your park." 4: "Have at least 400 people in your park." -"Have a happiness rating of at least 80%. -"Have no loan debts." The completion of each goal/objective comes with a hefty reward. The guest milestone numbers come with the park's boundary instantly expanding to other areas of the land. At 400 guests, you practically have the entire map. The game has been a bit glitchy in allowing me to have the goals progress with each accomplishment, but I was eventually able to find a way to do it so that each guest number milestone reached will properly expand your useable park size. I'll see to giving the devs a heads-up about it though since the scenario editor has been something they've been focused on lately. I'm still tweaking the park so that the rewards are a bit more rewarding, more scenery is added to make the park look more neglected, and so players won't be too limited with what types of rides they can plop down. Currently, though, the scenario is already very playable and I seek to maybe give one or two more further updates before releasing it. Feel free to let me know your thoughts on this.
  16. Mystic Timbers on Media Day! First coaster of the season too, woo!
  17. I'm really loving the go-karts in this new update! Something else fun to watch other than coasters!
  18. Banshee opening weekend, wasn't the park significantly less crowded that Sunday after opening day?
  19. Great coverage of the event. Your shed reaction had me rolling! Also caught me on the first drop "free food" pic. I somehow managed to be the darkest figure on that train! Much of what you said reflected my thoughts as well. A great, solid coaster overall! The shed definitely adds to the experience, and I'm happy that they chose to do something interesting instead of just have riders simply waiting to get off. It might not be worth all of the hype and speculation it had been getting, but it's better than nothing. Plus the coaster layout makes up for all of that!
  20. As expected, it is a pretty solid coaster! Something more appropriate for families, but just enough wild parts for thrill seekers! Also full of airtime! Sent from my SM-G935P using Tapatalk
  21. This has been my feelings on this coaster as well! Regardless of what's in the shed, the coaster still looks very fun! That layout stretches much farther back into the woods than I was expecting!
  22. Definitely liking what I see so far, though I've only been able to scrape the surface! One of the new scenarios with the ocean-front hotels and go kart track looks absolutely gorgeous! There are some minor bugs in it, but the only significant one I've noticed was hearing guest ambient noises in the Giant Inverted Boomerang when there's nobody on or near the ride.
