Worst line I waited in was during the first week Finding Nemo Submarines had opened at Disneyland Resort. As soon as the rope dropped, we went straight through Tomorrowland and the line was already long. It was stretching around the Matterhorn, and as we continued to search for the start of the line, we noticed it completely wrapped around Matterhorn and began at the Castle's draw-bridge. I ended up waiting three and a half hours for it.

B&M vs Intamin
6flagsbrad replied to alpengeistdude321's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
When I think of the few rides from each company I have ridden... B&M Silver Bullet - Knotts Batman - SFMM Great Bear - Hershey Flight Deck - CGA Riddler - SFMM Vortex - CGA Scream - SFMM Tatsu - SFMM Intamin Fahrenheit - Hershey Stormrunner - Hershey Screamin - Disney Superman - SFMM Xcelerator - Knotts ..... though I might not have been on that many from each, I feel that B&M is a lot smoother than Intamin. Every time I ride Xcelerator, I wonder why it is so rough on the over-banked turns. It also seems that Intamin rides tend to have more down time, yet that can completely depend on the park and how their operations go. All in all, B&M gets the gold star. -
I would lean more towards a Hurricane Harbor expansion in that general area. As for the monorails, it is sad to see them go. And although I would hate to see this happen, the track could come down soon, or it could be a few years. I'm sure they will leave it up until there is an addition added to the park that requires removal of a portion of the track. I would really like to see the park use the tunnel that travels directly through the hill. It would be a really cool coaster tunnel.

Yeah Perilous Plunge was closed along with Pony Express. I went yesterday and today, and it was very hot. My one complaint is that the park pretty much decided to rehab all the coaster's second trains, which resulted in long lines from having only one train operation on everything except Ghostrider and Sidewinder. I can now say I have waited 40 min. for Jaguar. It seemed funny that Xcelerator still only had a 10 min. wait the whole day though. I rode almost everything possible both days with the exception of riding Xcelerator twice and Montezooma 4 times today. And for a Windseeker update, the hole from WCB has been filled in and a concrete slab with poles sticking out now exists there, with millions of trenches surrounding it. Also, Xcelerator paint is coming along nicely.

Thanks for the pictures. It is really cool to see Roadrunner finally finished. I was just thinking yesterday how it seems funny to have two kid coasters themed to roadrunner. I thought it would be cool to name this one after Speedy Gonzalez. Oh well. It's too bad they have to close the whole Gotham area, but I'm sure that corner of the park will look really nice by the end of this summer.

I want to thank Knotts for a great day in the rain and for my new Sidewinder road wheel now sitting in my room. Wonderful day! -
This will be the longest week for me, I've been waiting for this event over two years and it's finally coming! I was hoping to gather a few people at the Knotts day and see if anyone was interested in playing laser tag. I've never been inside their arena before, and thought it would be fun to get a big group of TPR people to have a big competition. Just an idea that would be fun. See everyone at Knotts!
