From what I know, one of the biggest reasons was the changing of sites. They decided to put it next to Jaguar instead of replacing Sky Cabin. And I remember hearing at WCB that once they had started construction, they were waiting on stuff like earthquake inspections to be put through.

This made me laugh so hard, as I have never seen collapsing buildings at Knotts! I do have to agree with you on the Boomerang paint job though. The purple should be changed to a bright blue with the green supports.

So is this another year long closure for Xcelerator again?! Hopefully just a couple weeks, I'm not willing to wait that long again to ride it. Also looking forward to riding Windseeker very soon!

I really hope they keep Deja Vu, it is my favorite coaster! Unfortunately I do have to admit, the space of Deja Vu and the previous Roadrunner lot does make a reasonable amount of space for something bigger...

I agree with a major ride refurb. Kind of like with Superman, it would be nice to bring attention toward coasters that don't get as much appreciation (viper, ninja, goldrusher, revolution, colossus). I've always been happy with what the park brings anyhow.

This has to be the best park ever created! The detail put into this should not even be possible, yet Disney just simply pulled it out of their pocket. This is also definately the best trip report I've seen from this park, so thanks Robb and Hanno! Probably the one thing I am most jealous of is Fantasmic. Hands down the best theme park show. I can't wait to see what great and exciting things will come to Disney Sea in the future. Thanks again for the report!

I really like the audio on X2, the only thing is you cannot hear a thing while actually going through the ride. It's nice to have something to listen to that's also somewhat amusing at the same time while traveling up the lift that takes hours to reach the top.

Alright, first question. Is there a single-rider line and is the ride on Flash Pass? And second, why are the cars stopping so much on the block brakes now? In the test runs it was only slowing just a bit. Maybe only because it was for testing reasons.

It seems that Space Mountain's drops feel that way as well, though you can't really tell since it is kind of dark in there.

I'm really liking the whole area a lot more now. Nice job Six Flags! I love the comic book feel. Can't wait to see how the finished product turns out.
