  1. That would make the most sense. There are going to be some unhappy guests with the DD closing no matter what, but if it's to better the park, then so be it.
  2. IF BGT ends up getting the next B&M, I hope it's a hyper and not a standup. We already have enough coasters in the park with inversions.
  3. I would take a ROTM type of ride over a B&M Flyer anyday.
  4. They're almost there. Still not crazy about the location, but it's better than not having the coaster at all. As for Anaconda, I actually liked the coaster when it first came out. I guess I didn't know what a good ride was until Intamin and B&M started making kicka** coasters.
  5. I like the trailer, but it's still creepy knowing Heath Ledger is no longer with us.
  6. The 80's so rocked!!!
  7. Thanks for the pics of the tour. I'm glad to see Boulder Dash getting some more TLC.
  8. My aunt got me hooked on amusement parks when I was 7 or 8, with my first visit to Great Adventure. ...My love for coasters shortly followed.
  9. Updated from my post back in early February. Dorney Park Hershey Park SFA Morey's Pier-???
  10. I probably answered this back on page 5 or something, but I don't remember. Anyway, it was a long time ago so my memory is a little hazy. ...I think it was either Loch Ness at BGW or Laser at Dorney.
  11. The front page looks good, Robb. Of course, I didn't have any problems with the old one.
  12. I really didn't have a problem with Space and Thunder Mountain, but the TOT did get a little hectic. Having one room and two elevators wasn't a problem, but I can't imagine having two rooms and three elevators going on that simulator.
  13. Magic Kingdom and DAK in a couple of weeks.
  14. Great TR so far. I see the grey wolves were very photogenic on this particular day. I can never get enough of my second favorite park, I look forward to the rest.
  15. I agree, getting rid of the rapids ride would be a big mistake. In general, those kind of rides are probably the best at keeping the coaster lines down in the summer.
  16. Heck with a 5th park, I would take a Indy and/or Journey ride at this point.
  17. It's a heck of a lot better than Flight Deck. Congrats on being the winner, FeeltheForce. It almost sounded like you were giving a speech for winning an Oscar in your post.
  18. Wow, I have to say these pictures bring back a lot of memories. Those were the days(late 80's-early 90's), when I actually liked Kings Dominion more than Busch Gardens. Boy, have times changed. Thanks for the cool pictures.
  19. This is definitely the most anticipated coaster for me this year. Heck, it's the reason I'm heading up to the northeast for a few days. ...well that and El Toro of course.
  20. Here's a quote from Screamscape and article from the Orlando Sentinel. Article: http://www.orlandosentinel.com/business/custom/tourism/orl-universal1908mar19,0,3576109.story
  21. Tell me about it. Going backwards was so much better than forwards on that coaster. Thanks Cedar Fair.
  22. Well, at least they have to be 18 or older. That should keep some people on this board out of trouble.
