Ok, so Soeren, Ted, Craig, and everyone else have inspired me to do a random photo report...that being said, here's my day at work today! (BTW I work for the Special Olympics and it's great! All of you go out to your local chapter and volunteer now!) And here I am locking up, heading home for the day! Towards the end of the day Pepper, one of the best volunteers and Head of Softball, came in to talk about our Softball Tournament. Here I am violating some child labor laws! (minutes later I put her back into the sweatshop!) Here's our boss Chris, not working very hard! Here's my awesome co-worker Wendy working hard! Yeah I know, I'm the coolest employee ever! On my way back to the office I decide to really be fun and get In-n-Out Milkshakes for everyone! Here's my view on the way back to work! Look familiar?! Next I had to go to Bulk Mail to drop off a bunch of things! Lunch Break! My co-workers daughters come in to hang out with me since I've been dubbed "The Queen of Fun!" One of our star athletes (and pizza hut employee..yum) comes into visit me! My boss soon arrives and I have to help unload his truck...oh well, at least i'm unloading OREO's! Here I am, coming into the entry way!

Eh, Compounce has a Boomerang! And maybe I wanted him to overlook S:RoS and check out Poison Ivy's Coaster instead! Elissa "ride cyclone in the back seat...you, not Rebecca!" Alvey

Wow, that was a lengthly report! Nice though, glad you had a good time. It's nice that we do still have parks that spend time and money maintaining their wooden coasters. Elissa "don't see too much of that out this way!" Alvey -
Six Flags New England. Lake Compounce may look nicer and have more charm...but it's lacking one major thing... From RCDB.com Elissa "if you have one day of theme parks, why not do both!?" Alvey

I just got milkshakes for the whole office! Elissa "such the good co-worker!" Alvey

I'm slightly concerned about your constant use of the word "punishing". Elissa "not into painful rides" Alvey -
Actually Southwest is the best airline for stuff like that! You cannot get a refund but you can have that money put back in like a 'temporary' account on Southwest to use anytime in the next 12 months. Elissa "done this several time!" Alvey

The Grape Escape Game!!!! Elissa "just had to revisit that game for the video!" Alvey -
Keep in mind that one-way car rentals can be MUCH more expensive than normal rentals. If you are okay with a little more driving it's probably a better idea to kind of do a big circle and fly in and out of the same place. Do Dorney's Waterpark, it's the best one you'll pass on that trip! I'm sure more people will post more suggestions for parks (kennywood, knoebels, sfa) Elissa "have fun!" Alvey

^I think we did Kip...let me try and find it... http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=239 We kind of hijacked that one...but feel free to start an "official Tattoo/Piercing Thread! Elissa "I'll have to find the pictures of me getting my navel pierced!" Alvey

Go get the Cyberhome one! It's like $25 at Target or Best Buy...it plays anything and is tiny! Elissa "I have one at work and at home!" Alvey
-
"Ojos Asi!" There's also an English version of it. Elissa "I love it!" Alvey

No one wanted VHS anymore and it was actually getting more expensive to produce those than the DVD's! We've only had one complaint in the last what 2 years so I think everyone's pretty cool with it! And yes, they were the same...dvd vs. vhs Elissa "but the dvd's are so much cooler!" Alvey BTW I deleted your other thread since I just answered the question here!

Yes, all of the countries did! Elissa "that's where I got my hamburgers!" Alvey

^^I appreciate the effort, but I'd really prefer not to look at avatars of RatTums saying he's already dead...maybe we can repost something like that later. For now I'm still going on, and treating him like he's okay while he still is. Thanks for understanding. And thanks everyone for your kind words.

Good question! Actually except for France they seemed pretty much on par with SoCal even with the exchange rate. In France a Value Meal was like 7 euro though which was quite expensive. Also in Europe, what would be a large to us was a medium to them, so if you wanted more food you'd have to pay more. This was the same case in Japan. Smaller Portion sizes, and a little bit more money but not much. Elissa "I miss $0.29 Hamburger Tuesdays in Florida!" Alvey

We're staying there and it's free to resort guests so we'll probably just do that one since it's more convenient. If you really think Kalahari won't have lines we'll go ahead and do that one...I just hate being places where it's busy! Elissa "mapping out the ONE carrabbas now!" Alvey
-
Eh, I doubt it. I was looking more into Kalahari and it just doesn't seem that worth it for what it is. We were going to stay there but it looks like you don't really get any perks for staying there, you can just pay to get into the waterpark if you want. We're still figuring things out! Elissa "We would only do Noah's for either the first two, or last two hours" Alvey
