Make sure to leave yourself TONS of time getting from SFA to BWI! Trust me, Robb and I have done that trip a lot of times. It takes between 30min and 2 hours (damn Rolling Stones Concert!) Also Southwest and BWI are not my friends, I waited in some of the worst security lines EVER there (2+ hours!) It has gotten much better but just leave yourself enough time. Being that it will only be 11pm your body time when you get to BWI at 2am I'd say go for it and do the drive! Or at least get past DC! ^What no SF pass this year!??! SHAME!!! Anyways, I know that they usually have coupons and discounts at local places for Compounce...maybe someone in that area can help you out with that. Shaws, Star Market, and Big Y all say they have discount one day tickets for SFNE. Or print n go online tickets for $34.

Ah okay..thanks for not being quite as harsh! The guys were actually really cool...but you are right that this was taped right after Robb got home from a long days work.

Yeah, almost all the parks in Europe are seasonal. There might be some that are not yet open in March, and if anything cool gets built for next year the new rides might not be open yet. Check the parks websites you are interested in and look at their calendar for this year to get an idea.

^^ Don't bother with the Green at all! The normal Shinkansen train cars were as nice as business class on an airplane! Lots of room! Have everything written down on paper as many people do not speak English, even in the big train stations. & ^ When we were there Yomiuriland operated all rides but 2 in the rain, LaQua had all the indoor and covered stuff open, and well we all know about riding stuff in the Typhoon at Parque Espana! As for the parks being open, I would call or visit their websites. They were open when we were there in September so I can't imagine them not being open now during the week. Pretty pathetic...but it sounds like the girl was also drunk on a school trip! That's kind of a problem too. I just hope this isn't another case of 'crying wolf' like the girl who was 'kidnapped' from Wild Adventures!
