Oh man, I love Flintstones vitamins!!! It's all about the red ones! They recently changed the name of the variety I liked though. It's now "My First Flintstones" Vitamins that are the really good ones!

Hey all! So this is going to be a pretty low key, low budget meet...aka, we'll be there, show up if you want! Here is our full schedule for the weekend: Friday 12th - Dells (if you want to meet PM us for more info...we're not posting any times or anything for this date as we still don't know when or where we'll be! This will be more of a 'call us' and we'll tell you where we're at sort of day!) Saturday 13th - Dells, Little A-Merrick-A, Wisconsin Fair, SFGAm (again, you can see why we're not posting any official meets for this day, as it is pretty insane!) Sunday 14th - Meet at the front gates to SFGAm at 9:30. We will also probably check out Hurricane Harbor at some point this day so bring a swimsuit! If it is hellishly busy, also be prepared to shell out some dough for Fastlane! (they do still do this right!?!?) We'll most likely be at SFGAm and HH all day, and then maybe we can do a group dinner nearby! Post here if you're going to make it!

The kids will still have fun...there are games they can compete in as well!

I don't know that much about specs and everything, but I might be able to help a little as a fellow video editor... - Get at LEAST 512mb of RAM...my old computer had 256 and while I could still edit, it was extremely choppy and I had to restart a lot. - Your final avi movies will not take up more than 1gb each, but all of the other files and movies you have captured to make them add up fast. I would have at *least* 100gb internal hard drive. - I don't quite get your firewire vs. hard drive questions. I don't really like external hard drives, I don't get the point of them. I can open up my computer and switch out hard drives easily enough that why would I want to spend like double on an external! If you do get a USB 2 external hard drive it should be able to transfer as fast as a firewire cable but I'm not sure if I know exactly what you mean here. Hope this helps a bit!

Just another update on the event! We've added some fun new stuff after a brainstorming session in the SFMM Construction thread with myself, Robb, Wes, and Guy! We will be playing games and having challenges throughout the day at Hurricane Harbor, Magic Mountain, and back at our place! This should be a lot of fun! I already have a pretty big list going of what we can do that is both free, and within the park rules! Ooo, I'm excited now! One of our games will even give everyone on the forum who couldn't make it the opportunity to participate! Should be great fun! Hopefully see a lot of people there! And yes, this is another reason why I need to know who is going before hand! (Let's just say that one of our games will involve divisioning!)

I've already put together a list of activities we can do at SFMM/SFHH for 1) No Money and 2) Not getting in trouble. I'm really excited about this. I even have one game that will get everyone on the forum involved who can't go that day!

I believe that Super Mario for Super Nintendo came out in 1991, I'm sure Robb can provide more insite though! I was 9 or 10 at the time, but I don't think you were Gregg!!! I still remember this day as if it was yesterday...our original nintendo had died and my dad said he would buy us a new one...then he comes home with the Super Nintendo instead, it was amazing! I knew it as soon as I ripped open the wrapping paper and saw the different controller. I can even remember exactly where I was standing! Wow, I miss that thing! I think I'll hook it up tonight!

^But the thing that always annoyed me about that is you do provide straws if you upgrade to the super souvenir cup thing! And they even will sell you just the straw (as Robb so nicely found out for me!). I'm all about animal safety, not about hypocrisy!
