Robb was harassed one time at SFMM for his lipstick camera...the guy didn't believe he was going to film coasters with it...he thought he would be videotaping 'something else'. Robb finally shut the guy up by saying: "Look around here...do you see anyone wearing skirts? Would you like to see the tape, it's coaster footage!" Elissa "stupid security!" Alvey

Here are a few more construction photos from when we were at the park on July 17th. One interesting thing we did see is the markers over by Roaring Rapids does seem to indicate that whatever they are building may in fact cross over that walkway just like Revolution and Ninja does. And here you can see markers on both sides of the path and the rapids queue in the background. And just in case you missed that, here's another one. More markers on the hillside. More markers heading away from the rapids towards Psyclone. These were along side the path in the rapids area. Here you can see a marker on the hillside coming down from the mountain towards the rapids.

"Happy Birthday Disneyland!!!! Let's go to Magic Mountain....." Ok, so while we're not insane enough to go down and stand in line for hours on end at Disneyland, we were dumb enough to go to Six Flags Magic Mountain instead! Why you ask? Because Crispy was in town of couse!!! We were only able to stay about an hour since now that I'm flying around the world tomorrow, there were a lot of things we needed to get done last weekend. And as you can see it's taken me a week to post these pics, it's been a busy week! I'll make this short and just post the pics (since that's what everyone wants anyway, right?) When we got to the park around noonish and saw they were already parking in the 3rd lot, we thought "uh-oh..." But it seems like most people were at the water park because not only was that place *SLAMMED* but SFMM wasn't too bad with lines. 5 minutes for Colossus, 5 minutes for Scream, 15 minutes for Batman, 0 minutes for taking pictures of dirt and sticks with orange paint (yes, Ted, we'll log our times!) Basically, we discovered that the entire park was either at Hurricane Harbor, or in line for the Rapids. Also, I added some new photos to the "2006 construction update" thread: http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=37368 Anyway, it was nice meeting up with Crispy and his family....here are the pics! In the shop near the front of the park, they have the 'new for 2006' attraction model on display! Today is NOT the day to go on Roaring Rapids! Wow, for the 2nd time this year, we saw Laughing Dragon Pizza Company....OPEN!!!! The last remaining troll from the 'old days' is still there at the exit of the bumper cars. These people were all smart enough to NOT wait in line at Disneyland, but dumb enough to come to SFMM when it's 105 degrees! Crispy on his first ever Batman!!! How did they break Atom Smasher again??? Didn't they JUST get this working last year after a 3 year hiatus? Joey will appreciate this...there is Freefall in pieces on the ground! Does the world really need more photos of Scream? Elissa loves Colossus so much that she got stuck in it! Crispy: "Colossus was ok, but it's no Rattler!" Say hello to Crispy and his wife! Look everyone, it's Goliath! Too bad it's not the one from Holland. The water massage place was closed. Did it finally go out of business? Hmmm...the monorail has recently been removed from the tracks...let the rumors begin! Wow, even in the parking lot this place was NOT looking good today!

As you walk through the turnstiles the plaque is on your right hand side near a store. You can't miss it. Elissa "at least that's where it was like 3 years ago!" Alvey

I don't think my palatte is as refined as all of you...I can't stand normal american beers (bud, coors, etc.) but I really do like most microbrews. I prefer red's and stouts, but I can't tell the difference between the red at the Monte Carlo microbrew which I go to a lot, or the one at BJ's (chain here in SoCal. Most of the microbrews just taste the same to me! Elissa "doesn't drink too often, maybe that's the problem!" Alvey

Animal Crossing 2 Katamari 2 Movies (I have to finally play the game that Robb has been testing so long!) Anything Mario (kart, party, world, etc.) Um, that's all I can think of off the top of my head! Elissa "has a bad headache today!" Alvey

Yeah, I agree with Robb...anyone who can't go to our party (or even some of you who can do both) go to Dollywood! You can see us and our video anytime, 2 hours of ERT is another story! Elissa "although you'll have lots of hours of ElissaRobbTime at the party!" Alvey

I agree with you that Mt. Olympus' is pretty cool (kind of looks like RCT!), but it's hard to get any actual information or good photos or descriptions off of it. This is an interesting thread...I'll have to think about it!
