  1. Looks nice...but it wouldn't fit in my pockets! Elissa "I need bigger pockets!" Alvey
  2. ^Craig's post it is the funniest..."have x call y to tell z to call me..." Classic! I'm at work and my desktop is way too boring to bother posting! Elissa "I'll have to put something cool on it at some point" Alvey
  3. ^^Post in the "Ask Elissa Alvey for a custom member title" thread! Elissa "ask and you shall receive...well, most of the time!" Alvey
  4. ^You like her sexy legs don't you? Elissa "maybe not the best angle to take that picture from!" Alvey
  5. The best part of this was getting a text message this morning from our own HomeyG that he was there and there were still fake rose petals in the queue line! Elissa "coaster weddings scare me!" Alvey
  6. I was actually blown away by Winjas! I'm sure that part of it was that I was just expecting a pretty standard spinning mouse indoors. That really quickly changed once I rode the darn thing! OMG! I had no idea about all of the effects, track bends, layout, it really blew me away. I thought it was by far the best ride at Phantasialand, and I was bummed we only got to ride each side once (40 minute lines for both!) Elissa "I still can't decide which one I liked better!" Alvey
  7. Yeah, I'm also wondering where you sat on Viper since I love that ride and thought it produced some really great airtime. I actually prefer front of the back car though for the double down! Elissa "we need more 'cyclone' clones like that one!" Alvey
  8. ^LOL!!! Awesome Elissa "that's beyond my artistic ability!" Alvey
  9. We'll be having another meet (details will be posted today or tomorrow!) so where we might not be an official club...we do a lot of activities that are open to all enthusiasts, starting up organized trips, post news, have shirts, merchandise...seems clubbish enough for me! Elissa "doesn't want the politics of a real club!" Alvey
  10. Is SFoG really the best place to be building a 'sunken station'. It seems like every time they get more than a few inches of rain the place floods pretty severly! Elissa "maybe they're going for the first Hyper Water Coaster!" Alvey
  11. Great TR! I didn't realize how close Rita really was to Corkscrew until I just saw your one picture of them almost on top of each other! Did you ride Spinball Whizzer at all? It looks like a lot of fun! Elissa "Stupid Oblivion having a huge line!" Alvey
  12. You can do it all in one day. Other than the coasters and the double shot there aren't too many 'full size' or 'real' rides at the park. The waterpark is pretty good. It has a Tornado, two family raft rides, some older style slides, and a wave pool. Free unlimited soft drinks...but it's Pepsi!!!!! Elissa "Mmmm free unlimited coke!" Alvey
  13. I can help a bit... You only need reservations for the Shinkansen and the Narita Express, all of the other trains had mostly unreserved cars and were very easy to get on and off when and where you needed to. Most of the parks cost between $20 & $30. The 4 day Disney Park Hopper was about $180. (going from memory here). Some of the smaller parks were a bit less than $20, and some parks were Pay Per Ride. We didn't go to Nasu Highland Resort as it is a bit north of Tokyo and there was a limit to how many places we could go to in 2 weeks. It is in our plans for our next trip though, it looks very interesting. All of the train stations and parks have interesting reasonably priced food. From freshly fried chicken, to great noodle bowls for around $4. Elissa "hope this helps" Alvey
  14. I hope it's some little park in the middle of nowhere that does it! I always could kind of picture Wild Adventures with like a 750foot tall Vekoma ride! Elissa "we shall see" Alvey
  15. It was kind of a joke! Elissa "silly intamin rides" Alvey
  16. Maybe they're just moving Kingda Ka! Elissa "Ride Rotation Program!" Alvey
  17. Wait Wait Wait...I'm more interested in the Thanksgiving themed dark ride! Does it involve shooting turkey's? Giving Thanks virtually? This could be interesting. As for the coaster...I'm sure it will be good, I'm not the biggest Shivering Timbers fan though and this reminds me of that a lot. I'm wondering also why they went with steel structure...I guess cost. Good for Holiday World! Elissa "now get back to more water park rides!" Alvey
  18. You win... Elissa "you don't have as much to do there in WEST VIRGINIA!!!" Alvey
  19. I love the attacking Sea Gulls! Elissa "but where was the sheep!?!" Alvey
  20. You're not mental! You are correct! We never posted our photos from our Memorial Day trip to Florida. I'll have to go tell Robb to get on that! Elissa "thanks!" Alvey
  21. It's okay...it's not Raptor, Batman, Pyrenees, Montu, Dragons, Top Gun, Top Gun, Katun... SFMM is a bigger, nicer looking park than Knotts... It's a hard call! Elissa "have fun!" Alvey
  22. I believe that BarryH did the RIP tour and could not speak highly enough of it. No waiting, good food, interesting tour guides, etc. If you PM him he probably has a copy of the TR to repost. Elissa "if that's too much money you can also do the express passes" Alvey
  23. I think the park could really use a full size 42'' height restriction ride. Elissa "cough powder keg cough" Alvey
  24. Like Gregg said, it really depends more on what kind of coasters and rides you're into. Give us a bit more info about your decision and we'll be happy to help! Elissa "if you like B&M's go to SFMM" Alvey
  25. ^^Captain, did you get married in the park? At one of the hotels? Us other Theme Park Wedding people want to know! Elissa "the europa park guy said they do a lot of weddings in the Greece section!" Alvey
