A little bit of BGW, and then mainly focused on SFMM and Knotts. Elissa "it also dealt with some of the science" Alvey

Well, you didn't ask me... but... out of: 1. Tivoli 2. Heide Park (Colossos) 3. Holiday Park (Expedition GeForce) 4. Europa Park (Silver Star) 5. Movie Studios Park (Canevaworld Italy) I'd rank them: 1. Europa 2. Holiday 3. Heide 4. Tivoli 5. Movie Studios Park Keep in mind that all 5 of these parks though are in my "upper tier" of awesomeness! Also if you're going to be in Garda you might as well go to Gardaland since it is RIGHT THERE! Elissa "I'd imagine Robb's rankings are pretty similar!" Alvey -
As far as discounts...did you check the parks websites or call them? Usually they are very upfront about discounts currently being offered. In these parks cases it's usually one of 4 types of discount: 1. Online Ticket Deals 2. Coca-cola/Pepsi Cans with coupons on them 3. Local Grocery Stores 4. Local Fast Food places Elissa "have fun!" Alvey

It was filmed in April of 2002 with one of my friends from college. Elissa "hope you didn't think it was too terrible!" Alvey

Robb uses a "Swiss Army Knife" brand belt pack for the video camera. It has some decent padding in it that helps a little. As for my digital camera, I just throw it in my pocket. On wet rides we either keep it far away, or put it in a ziploc bag. Elissa "there you go!" Alvey

At Sea World, the two thrill rides are in the exact same place but if you have some time I would really do a FULL lap of the park. It is one of the nicest looking and just very relaxing feel kind of parks. I don't usually eat here so I can't help with food, but I do know they have a restaurant similar to Epcot where you can dine with Sharks swimming around you. In addition to the big rides and attractions at Universal, make sure to find the "rock climbing" it's very themed. Jimmy Neutron might seem like a kids ride but there is one section that will have you cracking up! GO TO IOA AND EAT AT MYTHOS. WDW - Avoid strollers and wheelchairs killing your ankles and run around mouth gaping open like the kids...its' fun! I don't really eat inside of the Magic Kingdom...all of the other parks and resorts at Disney have better food. Here is a short list: Ohana's, Spoodles, any country in Epcot, Mama Melroses, Sci Fi Dine In, etc. Elissa "hope this helps" Alvey

Ok, I'm going off of memory here but let's try this... Tokyo to Nagoya Bullet Train approx 2.5 hours Nagoya to Parque Espana on Kintetsu Ltd Express Line approx 2.5 hours As you can see your plan is quite realistic! Honestly, Parque Espana was one of the nicest looking, best themed, greatest parks on our whole trip...go for it! BUT!!!! IF you do go, and use this advice you have to repay the favor to us by taking that insane psycho dark pirate boat ride that's on the lower section of the park!!! We got there right at closing and they wouldn't let us on!!! Elissa "let me know what you decide!" Alvey

You are very close! Good Job! You get a gold star! Elissa "I miss Europe!" Alvey

The parks do not provide any kind of Coaster Enthusiast discount. They are very independant of any of that kind of stuff. They should all be open but may have certain days of the week that they are closed. We did learn some Japanese and in some cases would call the parks to confirm that they would be open if we could not figure it out from their website. September - October seemed like a very good time to go, but make sure to keep an eye on the weather as that is prime Typhoon Season! Most of the parks run most rides in the rain, but not in very bad weather! Yomiuriland and Toshimaen are both less than 40 minutes from central tokyo by train and are easy to find. LaQua is in central Tokyo and impossible to miss! Since they have a pay per ride system you might be better off just hitting that park when you have time. As for Nagashima, I wouldn't tell you not to go, but don't expect too much. Elissa "cough parque espana cough" Alvey

I think we'll probably spew out some kids or 'kid' at some point...we better because we've been buying all of these cute little amusement park shirts and stuff for them! As for Beth and Dallas, they've both travelled overseas and domestically with us. With Beth now in High school it's getting harder to take them on longer trips since they have lives now! Elissa "eh, I think I just want one mini-alvey, that's probably too much already!" Alvey

If you have time do a search for orlando tips/suggestions, even orlando november...we have had a LOT of posts about this time of year in Florida and answered quite a few questions. If you have any more specific questions please then post again and we'll be happy to help! Elissa "is anyone not going to be in Florida in November?!?!" Alvey
-
I can't really help you with public transportation but I can tell you that both Gardaland and Mirabilandia (the two largest parks in Italy) are both closed during the month of November. Elissa "Sorry!" Alvey

I only have two words: Zoom Zoom I wonder if they'll play it on the ride like the SLC at Movie Park Germany! Elissa "mazda seems to be whoring itself out in Europe pretty good!" Alvey -
I'm really excited to see this movie, probably the most excited I've been for a movie in a few years! Now I just have to decide if I will actually go see it, or just wait for the DVD since I hate being social and going outside! Elissa "doesn't like going to the movies!" Alvey

Hydra: The Revenge.... Hi guys!
SharkTums replied to Bill's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Hi Bill, Welcome to the site...if you do a search for Hydra you'll find some great TR's with photos and ride reviews. I also love Dorney's waterpark, I think it's one of the best in the country! Elissa "the rest of the park leaves me with an empty feeling though!" Alvey
